President Donald Trump is no stranger to inverting political paradigms, but this might be his most impressive display yet. Media pundits and elected Democrats who spent four years cheering on Joe Biden as he invited in more than 10 million unvetted illegal aliens are now apoplectic over the arrival of 59 refugees from South Africa fleeing political persecution.
Back in February, Trump signed an executive order recognizing one of the great civil rights crises of our time that the media has refused to cover: the ongoing physical and legal attacks on white farmers in South Africa. As the order notes, the Expropriation Act of 2024 enables “the government of South Africa to seize ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation.”
This law is just the latest escalation in the all-out war on the white minority in Africa’s largest economy. In 2023 alone, there were 49 murders and 296 attacks on white farmers.
The global media has claimed that these attacks have nothing to do with skin color, pointing out that some black farmers have also been killed. But the racial animus of the attacks is impossible to ignore, particularly amid the rising popularity of Julius Malema, a self-proclaimed Marxist-Leninist and member of the National Assembly.
Malema’s signature line is “kill the Boer” – a term for white farmers. He regularly draws crowds of 90,000 or more at rallies where he shouts the phrase, which liberal media outlets have claimed is an “anti-Apartheid song.” President Cyril Ramaphosa has done little to reduce the anti-white sentiment, even calling those fleeing the violence “cowards.”
In response to this clear racial discrimination and persecution, Trump’s order instituted a new policy ordering federal agencies to “promote the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping government-sponsored race-based discrimination, including racially discriminatory property confiscation.” The first group of South Africans admitted under the order arrived at Dulles International Airport earlier this week.
The scene there just outside the nation’s capital was markedly different from the migrant arrivals that characterized the Biden administration. Instead of daily hordes of thousands of mostly single male migrants overwhelming border barriers, attacking law enforcement, and flooding into the country unvetted, 59 American flag-waving men, women, and children, mostly young families, were welcomed into the country after going through the proper immigration channels.
On the whole, the scene was everything that immigrating to the United States should be about – people embracing this country and its culture, coming here legally, and looking to build a better life for their family. But for Democrats and their media allies, there was one big, big problem: these refugees were white. The liberal reaction was swift and hysterical.
MSNBC political analyst Donna Edwards claimed it was “racist” to let in the South African refugees. Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, who infamously flew to El Salvador to do a photo op with a deported MS-13 gang member, wrote on X that admitting the refugees was a “sick global apartheid policy.” One TikTok influencer appeared to call for the murder of the new arrivals. Former Obama official Rick Stengel called it “deeply and morally wrongheaded and repulsive” to admit them, even going so far as to smear the refugees as “racists who have repressed people.”
Ashley Allison, a top staffer on the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign, said the refugees should “go back to Germany.” That’s right – according to Allison, white Afrikaners just trying to farm peacefully don’t belong in South Africa after their ancestors immigrated there 400 years ago. Yet Allison would also tell you that any illegal alien who steps foot in the United States has an absolute right to be here forever, even if they commit heinous crimes.
Yes, Apartheid was evil. But the notion that its legacy justifies modern-day, state-sanctioned discrimination against white South Africans is as deranged as it is revealing. The left’s logic seems to be that because there was once racial injustice against black South Africans, the pendulum must now swing so far the other way that even murder and land theft are excusable – as long as the victims are white.
That isn’t justice. It’s revenge politics dressed up in the language of progressivism.
The Democrat-media complex, always eager to cosplay as moral arbiters, has once again exposed its moral bankruptcy. These are the same people who wept over caravans of unvetted migrants storming our border, some of whom turned out to be cartel members or worse. But 59 white, Christian families who fled government-sanctioned violence? To the liberal intelligentsia, they are colonial oppressors who must be turned away, lest their very existence disrupt the sacred racial hierarchy the left now worships.
In this warped worldview, you are not judged by the content of your character but by the color of your skin – and if you’re white, sympathy is off-limits. The left has traded in blind justice for racial math.
But thanks to Trump, the mask is slipping. The public is watching. And the hypocrisy is impossible to unsee.

A number of people from South Africa have become prominent CITIZENS of our country. The time is past to even wish for any kind of rationality from democrats. This horrendous treatment is not new in SA, it’s been going on for years. Julius Malema, South African politician, has openly stated “kill the Boer” at rallies, referring to white farmers. In interviews he has said – ” We won’t kill whites……. at least for now”. Imagine a white politician saying that publicly? The media would never stop writing about it. South Africa is one of the most violent countries in the world. Since the government was handed over to the black majority, the country has slowly gone from being the Jewel of Africa, to a cesspool. People purposely cause blackouts so that they can steal copper wiring. Taxi cab gangs run certain areas and people are murdered everyday. There are blackouts constantly and there isn’t clean water in many areas of the country.
South Africa was a beautiful nation with a thriving economy, now it is a cautionary tale of what boils down to DEI, in all reality. The West essentially forced the white minority government to hand over power to the black majority. Over time, just about everything imaginable has gotten worse in SA. The crime rate is unfathomable compared to almost any other country around the world. The country has turned into a giant hellhole.
Jobs have been handed over to people with absolutely no training in certain fields, simply because they are black. Many of these jobs are in medicine and other technical fields. It is frightening, the attacks on the white (Boer) farmers are unimaginable today, yet the media says nothing or lies about facts. Joe Biden let in millions of unvetted people, many criminals and mental patients, and people with no skills whatsoever. The vast majority of those people were fleeing nothing more than poverty. The South Africans are fleeing true terror and a government that has openly threatened them and done nothing to protect them.
The truth is that racism is alive and well in America, but it’s mostly against white people. We see our own politicians, of all races, shout against these vetted SA, white refugees, yet they rallied for known criminal, illegal immigrants, simply because they are black or brown. People better start getting honest with themselves and the world, the anti- white racism has gone way too far and the results of DEI, etc. are obvious. Take a look at South Africa each year after the majority government took over, until today.
We’ve seen a similar situation play out in Rhodesia (modern day Zimbabwe) and it wasn’t as violent as what we are seeing in SA. White farmers were forced out and the same land and tools and resources given to black farmers. The nation started starving with the black farmers doing the farming. It got so bad that the black government asked the white farmers to return and farm the land again. That’s rarely spoken about today.
Let’s stop playing games, sometimes we have to admit that we may not all be the same in every category. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, that should be obvious to anyone with an honest brain. Lauren Southern did a great series on the South African Boer and what was going on in SA a few years ago on YouTube. Before anyone dares to open their mouth in opposition to the SA refugees entering the US, they need to watch that series. They won’t be able to open their mouths against these refugees once they see the horrors that these white farmers have endured.
Essentially, all Afrikaners speak English, are educated and have actual skills. They aren’t coming to America as welfare cases that will live on public assistance for generations. They are similar to the Europeans that came to America and essentially built the strongest nation in the world. These are just facts, facts that the mainstream media refuses to report on, the same goes for our (lack of) education entities in America.

When one looks back at all the nutty programs, ideas, and corruption that the dem party promotes, it is impossible to understand how any person with a brain with an IQ over 75 could remain a democrat. Every democrat today should use a black marker and write “Stupid Loser” in large letters across their foreheads.
I’m old enough to remember the exaggerated propaganda campaign waged by the media, U.N., and silently by our own government against two true anti-communis allies and no things in the countries in question were not as bad as presented. The misjustice even led to the National Council of Churches (indirectly) buying ammunition for communist guerrillas fighting the legal government of not only South Africa, but Rhodesia as well. Not a word was mentioned anywhere about the Cuban mercenaries, supported by the Soviet Union who were training and supplying the pro-communist guerrillas. Today, and from the day both South Africa’s and Rhodesia’s former pro-western governments were overthrown, it hasn’t been safe for Whites OR Blacks in those countries for just as wherever socialists have taken over, purges took place in both countries in which Blacks who were either non-supportive or opposed of the regimes faced persecution and even death. One of the worst ways to die was by necklacing ( a method of torturous execution favored by Nelson Mandela as well as later by his wife ) where the victim was tied up and a gasoline soaked car tire was tied around their neck and ignited. Even today, it is not safe to be out on the streets of big cities there. A few years ago, I heard of one nurse testifying that it was not safe to stop for red lights at night after working evening shifts, but best to slow only as much as necessary to see there was no cross traffic and then speed on through the intersections. That almost sounds familiar of some U.S. cities doesn’t it? Things haven’t degenerated in America as yet that our farmers would have to plow their fields with a rifle in the tractor cab beside them as is true in South Africa and Zimbabwe ( formerly Rhodesia ) today.
The discrimination these White South Africans are facing is in reality continued persecution carrying over from decades ago, it doesn’t matter to left wing tyrants that these refugees are a couple of generations younger than those of the old South Africa.

The Afrikaner is not German. I think they were Huguenots, but it’s been a long time since I studied the South Africa mess of the take over of South Africa by the blacks. My visit to S Africa was a pleasant one but Jo-Burg was not on my schedule. We flew in and out of it, but that was all. I went to the more remote areas to see what “real” S Africa was about. I’ve found the big cities of every country does not give a good “feel” for the country.
