According to a new 50-page report delivered to the House Judiciary Committee by FBI Director Kash Patel last week, 274 plainclothes FBI agents were among the crowd that entered the U.S. Capitol building on January 6th, 2021. The shocking revelation confirms the years-long suspicions of online skeptics after former FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to tell Congress about the agency’s involvement in the riot.
During a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee in 2023, Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs asked Wray if he had “any assets that day in the crowd.” Wray refused to directly answer the question and stated, “that’s a place where, again, I want to be careful.” He even said that he did “not believe there were undercover agents on scene.”
In contrast to his predecessor’s leadership, Patel had promised earlier this year to release information on the FBI’s role in the January 6th incident at the Capitol.
President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Saturday that he wanted to know the identities of the agents who participated in this operation.
“That’s right, as it now turns out, FBI Agents were at, and in, the January 6th Protest, probably acting as Agitators and Insurrectionists, but certainly not as ‘Law Enforcement Officials,’” he said. “I want to know who each and every one of these so-called ‘Agents’ are, and what they were up to on that now ‘Historic’ Day. Many Great American Patriots were made to pay a very big price only for the love of their Country.”
Fox News reported on Saturday that the FBI agents were sent into the crowd after people had entered the U.S. Capitol building. Patel explained that this was not the proper role of the FBI.
“Agents were sent into a crowd control mission after the riot was declared by Metro Police – something that goes against FBI standards,” Patel said. “This was the failure of a corrupt leadership that lied to Congress and to the American people about what really happened.”
The FBI reportedly told Fox News that there were no indications that “agents were involved in any events related to Trump’s speech on the morning of Jan. 6 at the Ellipse.” However, an FBI official explained that “Wray should have disclosed that agents were there when he was asked by congressional leaders.”
Patel stated that the FBI is still in the process of uncovering more of the story due to agents coming forward with details about what occurred that day.
“274 FBI agents were thrown into crowd control on Jan 6 against FBI standards,” Patel posted on X. “That failure was on corrupt leadership. Thanks to agents stepping up, the truth is coming out. Transparency. Justice. Accountability.”
After the events of January 6th, Wray led the FBI in arresting more than 1,500 Americans for entering the Capitol. Many were denied bail and faced harsh pretrial detention policies that were glaringly out of line with the treatment faced by other individuals accused of similar crimes.
Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences of an overwhelming majority of January 6th defendants on his first day back in office earlier this year, fulfilling a promise that he had made on the campaign trail.

Why did these agents not come forward and divulge their “participation” and reveal their part in it? Seems simple enough…come clean or lose your job. Wray for prison in 2025.

All Jan 6 people who attended the rally and went peacefully to the capital to demonstrate against a fraudulent election should have all their charges purged from official records like they never happened. We always knew the FBI was involved. Wray lied to Congress or at least omitted the truth. Pelosi was the organizer of Jan 6. Month before she had told of her plan. And on Jan 6 she did not inform capitol police what to expect and when the head of the Capitol police called her for back up she made him wait till the Capitol was full with demonstrators to make it look like a coup. There was no coup. The capitol police had weapons none of the people in the capitol had guns. The only one killed was by the capitol police. The left keeps saying 150 police men were injured. If they would just show the tapes of those injuries. Only they don’t have them. When Tucker showed the tapes of the people peacefully walking through the Capitol like tourists, he was fired by Fox. These people weren’t violent. They looked impressed by being in the capital. Like we were when we visited the Capitol in 2001 before 9/11. The left called it right away a coup. What will happen now. What lie, half truth will they come with now? 274 undercover FBI agents you can’t very well hide. Maybe by publishing their names and faces we will see where they were and what they did. Of course those videos don’t exist anymore. Just publish their names. Or are they protected from prosecution because they acted on the orders of Pelosi and Wray.
The dishonesty the Democrat party is to be expected, but I am just absolutely disgusted. You cannot trust anything they say. And you wonder why people do not trust the government. They’re probably at least a hundred Democrat officials that need to be indicted for attempted treason an election interference. Nothing will happen they will all skate Democrats do not have to follow the law or even the supreme Court.

The headline should have either given the exact number of Agents or “… Nearly 300 Agents …”. Using the words “More than 200 ….” understates the significance of the actual count of those involved.

Every single agent should be identified. With AI, their pictures should be matched to any video in which they appear. Any who are acting to incite or encourage bad behavior must be prosecuted, they are NOT exempt from the law!

It amazes me to see and hear normally intelligent individuals not be able to follow a logical progression to the end, and just before the end disagree with all the foregoing. I am concerned that with all the crimes and atrocities committed by the democrat party, that there are those who will vote to continue the march to slavery and communism. I am also saddened by those folks that have gained great financial power through the laws and precepts of this great country, and have turned their power to destructive objectives. Some are known, but others hide behind closed doors and institutions and are insulated from public knowledge. The obvious ones we see in the political arena, are, in my mind, just pawns for persons of greater power “pulling the strings.”

It would be very interesting to correlate the FBI assets with their actions on surveillance tapes. If they merely observed the crowd, I don’t see a major problem, but if they participated in or encouraged illegal behavior, someone needs to be held accountable.

Since all of those agents were not doing anything to prevent acts of violence and destruction, we can be confident that those agents were there to incite acts of violence and destruction. I have no problem with undercover FBI agents imbedded in these groups because a small element in the conservative ranks are inclined towards violence. Instigating violence, destruction or other lawlessness, however, should be outside the bounds of their assignments. Those who ordered or participated in it should be prosecuted like any other criminal. And then there is the crime of perjury…
