AMAC Supports Bill Using Sanctions to Obstruct International Terror Networks

This bill works to obstruct Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and any of their derivative organizations from accessing international support networks that deliver the tools of terrorism to further their evil cause against Israel.

Dear Senator Rubio,

On behalf of the over 2.1 million members of AMAC – Association of Mature American Citizens, including over 167,600 residing in Florida, I write to offer our support for S. 1647, the “Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad International Terrorism Support Prevention Act of 2023.”

Innocents have died at the hands of monsters intent on erasing Israel and the Jewish people. American citizens, children and babies, whole families, and non-combatants have suffered and continue to suffer death and injury because of the actions of Hamas and other organizations supporting them.

This bill looks to obstruct, using sanctions, the people and organizations of Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and any of their derivative organizations from accessing international support networks and using trojan horse capabilities to deliver the tools of terrorism to further their evil cause against Israel.

This legislation proposes methods to identify foreign individuals, agencies/instrumentalities, and governments who, by any physical and financial means, fund the terrorist organizations threatening the Israeli people, and, by way of proximity, American citizens in the area. It goes further to define that the President of the United States shall take certain and defined actions to stop the flow of support to these inhuman aggressors.
