AMAC Action has received a robust response from its grassroots network after launching a nationwide campaign calling on U.S. Senators to pass President Donald Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill.” In less than 24 hours, more than 13,000 messages were sent by AMAC members to their Senators urging them to vote “yes” on the bill, underscoring renewed conservative energy and broad-based support for the legislation.

This overwhelming surge of support reflects AMAC members’ enthusiasm for a package that permanently extends the 2017 tax cuts and delivers major new tax relief—especially for working Americans, seniors, and small business owners.

Among the bill’s most significant provisions is a $4,000 tax deduction for seniors, a top-tier priority for AMAC, delivering concrete benefits to millions of retirees The legislation also eliminates federal income tax on tips and overtime pay, fulfilling key campaign promises and placing more money directly into the pockets of service and hourly workers.

In addition, the One Big, Beautiful Bill tackles persistent issues in prescription drug pricing by ending abusive spread‑pricing by Pharmacy Benefit Managers in Medicaid and requiring transparent, ingredient‑cost‑plus‑fee models—protecting the health and financial wellbeing of AMAC members and all Americans.

At a time of global uncertainty, the package also strengthens U.S. national security with dedicated funding for the military and border security. It includes $150 billion more for defense and approximately $46.5 billion for border wall construction, new personnel, and advanced surveillance technology.

“AMAC Action members are speaking loud and clear,” said AMAC Action Senior Vice President Andy Mangione. “They understand that this is more than a tax bill—it’s a blueprint for conservative reform: rewarding work, rewarding service, securing our country, and restoring fairness in prescription drug pricing.”

AMAC Action urges every Senator to listen to the thousands of voices demanding immediate passage of the One Big, Beautiful Bill.

The $4000 “bonus for seniors” is NOT A TAX CREDIT! Which means it does NOT decrease tax liability by $4000. Rather, it increases the standard deduction for seniors by that amount, saving in taxes is thus ONLY $4000 MULTIPLIED BY ONE’S TAX RATE. And this will not apply to seniors who exceed certain income levels ($150,000 for married filing joint; $75,000 for single filers). THIS IS NOT the “NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY” that President Trump campaigned on! Hardest hit will be seniors who work to age 70, get the maximum social security checks, have some income from savings, and perhaps even continue to work!

If you live in a deep blue state peopled with idiot politicians like I do voicing your opposition is useless. 13,000 people is a drop in the bucket compared to the millions who think they are entitled to the results of our hard work and sacrifice. The $4,000 bonus for seniors is a joke. We have payed for our retirement income over and over again through our tax system. There should be no taxes on Social Security or Railroad Retirement. You work hard, save, invest wisely all for naught. The Feds and the State government pile on more and more taxes and take what you worked so hard for away from you. Put in a flat tax and everyone pays the same percentage share of their income. Stop sticking the people who work or are retired to pay for those who sit on their butts and do nothing.

Why do 13000 people support a bill that will increase our National debt by another 3 or 5 Trillion dollars? This debt must stop or our US dollar is going to sink big time , and Moodys dropped credit rating a few months ago & any support to Cryptocurrency will only harm or compete with US dollar. And it appears, that the trade war is causing a lot of other countries to start trading in other currency besides US dollar & that is just starting since tariff war started. I think of US future and not just what is good today!

I would vote against the BBB because they included bill to sell of millions of acres of public land. I am against the rich buying this land & making it private, and that is assuming that land goes to highest bidder. And this land must be sold to US citizens and not one inch to foreign countries. What about the land that has timber, possible mineral. water. gas and oil, etc. I can see why the rich people support this bill, but it is another blow to the middle and lower classes. And why does AMAC and 13000 members support selling our public land? My vote is No until they get the pork barrel projects out of Trump big beauty bill!

How did those 13000 voice their support? I’ve been looking for the easy way to do that…
