Just before the conclusion of its term last week, the Supreme Court handed President Donald Trump and conservatives a series of significant victories on issues ranging from religious liberty to the ability of lower courts to unilaterally block executive branch policies.

In potentially its most significant decision, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that lower federal court judges cannot issue nationwide injunctions against Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship – a ruling that also impacts other injunctions against Trump’s policies. All six conservative justices voted in favor of the administration while the liberal justices dissented.

Notably, the ruling was on the injunction, rather than whether the president’s order itself was constitutional. Trump issued the executive order to prohibit the children of illegal aliens from receiving U.S. citizenship on his first day in office. In total, 22 states with Democrat leadership sued the administration to stop the executive order, resulting in federal judges in Maryland and Washington blocking it.

The Supreme Court’s decision will allow Trump’s executive order to go into effect after 30 days, with the injunctions limited to the individual plaintiffs, such as the states that brought the lawsuits, rather than the entire country. This ruling also clears the way for the president’s other actions that have received nationwide injunctions to go into effect. Trump praised the Supreme Court’s decision on Truth Social.

“GIANT WIN in the United States Supreme Court!” he posted. “Even the Birthright Citizenship Hoax has been, indirectly, hit hard. It had to do with the babies of slaves (same year!), not the SCAMMING of our Immigration process.”

The court is expected to rule on the constitutionality of the order later this year.

In the case Mahmoud v. Taylor, the Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 decision that parents have a right under the First Amendment’s religious liberty clause to opt their children out of controversial lessons covering issues such as homosexuality and transgenderism.

Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland had refused to allow parents to opt their children out of LGBTQ lessons. A coalition of Muslim, Catholic, and Ukrainian Orthodox parents sued the school district for relief.

Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito explained that the district’s refusal to let parents opt their children out was a violation of their religious liberty.

“A government burdens the religious exercise of parents when it requires them to submit their children to instruction that poses ‘a very real threat of undermining’ the religious beliefs and practices that the parents wish to instill,” Alito explained.

The Supreme Court also ruled in yet another 6-3 decision Friday that Texas can enforce a law that requires pornography websites to verify the age of users. The law would require pornography websites to ensure that users were adults of legal age before allowing access to explicit content. Texas lawmakers passed the bill in 2023, but it was quickly blocked by a district court judge.

The Supreme Court’s decision will now allow the law to go into effect.

Chief Justice John Roberts discussed criticism of the Supreme Court’s decisions on Saturday at a public judicial conference. He said a lot of the criticism the court receives is not informed, and he defended their recent decisions.

“You’d like it to be informed criticism, but it’s usually not,” Roberts said. “They’re naturally focusing on the bottom line: who won and who lost. You need to appreciate that that’s just the nature of what you do.”

“End of Supreme Court Term Delivers Major Victories for Trump, Conservatives”
I must disagree with the wording of this headline. I would have written it as follows:

“End of Supreme Court Term Delivers Major Victories for the Constitution and the Rule of Law”

The Supreme Court put the balance of power back to the president of the United States. Any president. They ruled according to the laws and the constitution. Not for Trump, for the laws of the land. The progressive dems wanted to take the powers granted to a president of the United States under the Constitution away and have a judge somewhere in a court far removed from the federal government and not duly elected to govern the country. We have three branches of government not one. The dems are governing through the courts. All these judges appointed by Biden and bribed by Soros were ruling the country under Joe. The dems can’t take it that the president of the United States, duly elected in a landslide, by the name of Trump is saving this country. They had tried so hard to destroy it. The people voted them out. For they saw what the dems were doing to this country and rejected their policies overwhelmingly. The Supreme Court put the common sense back what our Constitution always reflected and had worked for almost 250 years.

ANYTHING that is good for Americans or America, the Left-wing progressive socialist Commie Democrats are AGAINST IT.
Anything that is harmful to children, or taking away parents rights, or raising taxes across the board, and everything else that hurts Americans or America, the Left-wing progressive socialist Commie Democrats are FOR IT.

It’s as simple as that, with extremely few exceptions.

I saw one “mainstream” story which said the 6 proper SCOTUS judges were destroying the “flexible” Constitution. One wonders how correctly applying the Constitution destroys it!

They, and Congress are now going on ‘recess/vacation’ and will return in September. Our military members get a well-earned 30 days’ leave a year- what has Congress and the Court ever done to earn for ALL Summer off, as well as all the other ‘recesses’ they take each year? AMAC should look into this…

Justice Roberts and most of the rest of the so-called conservative Justices, (with some notable exceptions), are cowards and they refuse to address some of the most pertinent questions that they should be addressing, like the continued refusal of the various states to observe and enforce the provisions that the court has already ruled on, but with unclear pronouncements. I refer specifically to those things directly related to Constitutional issues, like the Second and Fourth Amendments that should be relatively straightforward to interpret, but to which they gandy dance around trying to find a justification for the abrogation of the clear intent of those Amendments. Since the ratification of the Constitution there have been those that have worked tirelessly for the weakening and outright ignoring of the provisions of the Constitution that they didn’t like, and to a large extent they have been successful due to the political manipulation of those that wield the power in the various bodies of the legislators at all levels. We have outspoken communist’s in our body politic and no one seems to care or notice, much less vote them out of office, and the socialists are just the first step towards the dictatorial efforts on the part of those that espouse socialism. It is the sad state of this country that we have chosen to fail in educating our children about the reason for and the meaning of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, (without which there would not have been a ratified Constitution), and that is the primary reason that the country is spiralling out of all semblance of actual common sense that the rule and reason for law! Good luck America, you are going to need it.

The SCOTUS, in actuality, merely affirmed the Separation Of Powers clause in the Constitution, but, a win is a win. Next, these lower court DemoKKKRAT “judges” need to be removed from the bench, be disbarred, their courts dissolved and all their rulings need to be scrutinized for errors. They rule by ideology, not the Law. Interfering with the duties of the POTUS is, in fact, a crime.

While I am glad parents can now opt out of LGBQT, etc. “lessons”, we need to take these “lessons” out of all schools. Most adults today never were schooled about these types of sexual deviants yet somehow we all found out what they were. This is more evil pushed upon our youngest and most vulnerable and needs to be ended. We also should end the way too long pride month. Saw a parade clip over the weekend and most of the females were naked waist up and one deviant (male? female?) was shaking its rear end in the face of a policeman. It was utterly disgusting.

What stands out to me with all of these decisions coming from SCOTUS is: 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. 6-3, 6-3. Undoubtedly, we have 3 political hacks and not constitutional adherents (by oath) sitting on the supreme court!

The new LAWS should be published so people can be well informed, and not succumb to the biased & distorted interpretations from the corrupt mainstream media that brainwashes the low IQ folks. Let the public know where we can get copies of the new laws and amendments, because the schools certainly don’t teach them to our kids. Well informed citizens insures peace and prosperity.

Conservative Republicans have known for years that Progressive Liberal Lefist Democrats were up to no good when Obama’s 2nd Term had transpired. Those on the Left started working overtime to insure they could remain in control totally on a permanent basis by securing their Rogue Deep State. Of course, this really began during Obama’s first stint but really took off during his seconf term.
When Hillary lost and the great President Trump got in the Hand-Writing-on-the-Wall was set in motion to pull every nefarious deeds necessary to secure Democrat control over every aspect to come. When Biden came along it was obvious the Communist Manfesto was implemented. It has been since President Trump was Re-elected we have learned just how immoral Democrats had been.
Finally, today we’re witnessing the Supreme Court beginning to do the Right, and, only thing, in Course Correction to stop the Unethical Communistic Democrat Agenda. Bravo, for doing your job, Supreme Court!

That one district court can’t act as the Supreme Court for the whole nation is a big win. Something so obvious.

I am tired of the Trump vs them mentality. President Trump is the first elected Constitutional President in decades. And it is high time SCOTUS rules to support our Constitution. The 3 justices that regularly vote against the Constitution are unworthy of judging anything. Our Republic can only stand when everyone’s common goal aligns with our Constitution AS WRITTEN.

Any judge who does not rule to mandate id & proof of age for a porn site, has no business being a judge. That person has zero common sense, no regard for the safety of minors, and is probably a pedophile. I don’t know for sure, but there seem to be a lot of them out there in positions of power. After gay marriage was ruled constitutional, MANBLA, announced they were going to work to normalize sex with minors. They have apparently had a lot of success with our judicial system & some of our legislators. It’s up to us parents to be the watch dog for our children and grandchildren if possible. No one who accepts that kind of behavior with the future of our nation should be in a position of power. They should be in prison.
One more point of information for anyone who cares, the democrats in the Calif. state offices, in their wisdom, have decided to make trafficking of minors a misdemeanor. The rot it getting deep.

Isn’t it funny how almost all of the supreme court decisions this year have passed by a 6-3 vote? There are six Conservative justices and three Liberal justices. The three Liberals not there to interpret the constitution. They are there to advance the Liberal agenda. For many years Democrats have been wanting to pack the Supreme Court. Maybe now is the time so President Trump can nominate young Conservatives that will control the court for many years to come.

Thanks to God, for putting common sense to rule in the Supreme Court’s interpretation of the LAW. We see the members of the Supreme Court who are more loyal to their Democrat Party than to the Laws of our Country. Because they are interpreting the same Law, we expected them to be unanimous, but NO. the three Democrat appointed Judges dissented, because it does not agree with their Party’s narrative. See where their loyalty is? It is not for our country, but for their socialist party, and most probably could it even be, incentives for their pocket books? In todays politics, “MONEY TALKS, BS WALKS”, QUOTED TO ME BY AN OLD POLITICAL OBSERVER. I tend to believe him now. Pray for America. .

Regarding these “triumps” of Supreme Court rulings. Hey folks, one day for who knows why, we are going to have another Obama type or Biden type as the resident of the White House.
And when such a moron issues some Executive Order like a damned King there will be no one riding to the rescue as such folks will be blocked.

An Executive order from Trump should not overturn any part of the US Constiturtion, and in this case Amendment 14. Did not Trump & the Justices take an oath to defend and follow our Constitution?

All elected officials should uphold the Constitution & that they should not let Trump and his team of lawyers persuade them to do otherwise. The Judicial branch is supposed to be the third branch of our government and be non-partisan , and never let the Executive and Legislative branches bully them to make decisions.
