President Donald Trump delivered shocking new disclosures about potential threats to American elections in a primetime address to the nation from the White House on Thursday – including major revelations about vulnerabilities in the 2020 election.
As the president explained, the White House is releasing a trove of freshly declassified documents gathered by the White House Government Transparency Task Force. The documents, which are now available on whitehouse.gov, fall into four broad categories: “vulnerabilities in electronic voting and ballot-counting systems”; “China’s acquisition and exploitation of American voter data”; “Michigan voter-registration information”; and “noncitizens on state voter rolls.”
“This evidence shows that the election system we have dangerously exposes – and really exposes – like levels never thought possible to hacking, exploitation, and foreign interference,” Trump said. “Just as disturbingly, this vital information has for many years been covered up and hidden from you, the American people.”
Trump built his speech around several major disclosures, each of which should be considered a major bombshell in its own right.
First, Trump revealed that “China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files.” That America’s chief geopolitical rival was able to access such a large number of private voter data is itself shocking – but the fact that such a breach was kept hidden from the American people for years is an even greater outrage. Democrats and liberal elites have long denied that any foreign adversaries had such sweeping access to American voter data.
Second, senior officials within the government, including in intelligence agencies, intentionally tried to bury the truth about China’s theft of American voter data. “U.S. spy agencies began learning about the compromise of voter registration files in 2020, when they discovered that tens of millions of voters’ data in 18 states had been bought, stolen, or hacked by China,” Trump said. “Yet those responsible for sounding the alarm instead kept the information secret and hidden. They did not disclose to me as president or to anyone else, and to the best of our knowledge, they did not inform Congress.”
Notably, this cover-up occurred as many of these same individuals publicly insisted that the 2020 election was the “most secure” in history.
In perhaps the biggest bombshell of the speech, Trump also revealed that “China’s activities even included an attempt to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden.” This revelation lends more credibility to the theory that Beijing interfered in the 2020 election with the express purpose of tipping the scales against Trump, who was then engaged in high-stakes negotiations with Chinese leaders over tariffs and trade policy.
Third, Trump delivered a major vindication of election integrity advocates who have long insisted that electronic voting machines are shockingly insecure. “They’re vulnerable, and they’re easily compromised, and people within our government knew that,” Trump said.
According to one U.S. intelligence report that Trump quoted, “The United States’ adversaries, including at a minimum Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, as well as non-state groups, have the capability to compromise US election infrastructure.”
“Many people have questioned whether it could actually be possible to electronically manipulate vote totals or change election results on these terrible machines,” Trump continued. “Today, we are releasing documents that show the CIA obtained reporting of a specific plot to do a big number in favor of the corrupt Maduro regime in Venezuela – and that’s exactly what happened – conspiring to digitally rig their own country’s elections in 2020, and that’s what they did.”
Fourth, Trump revealed that hundreds of thousands of non-citizens and dead people are still active on voter rolls – a shocking new confirmation of something election integrity advocates have long suspected.
Trump’s solution to address these glaring vulnerabilities in America’s election system was simple: pass the SAVE America Act. This landmark election integrity bill, which has been stuck in the Senate for months, would require voters to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote. It also mandates strict Voter ID for casting ballots and limits mail-in voting.
Trump and many Republican voters have urged the Senate GOP to institute a “talking filibuster” to bypass the upper chamber’s requirement that most legislation have 60 votes to pass. Thus far, Senate Majority Leader John Thune and a few other Republicans have refused to budge.
“How easy is that to do unless you want to cheat?” Trump said of passing the SAVE America Act. “The only reason you wouldn’t do it is you want to cheat because your policies are so bad and your candidates are so pathetic that you can’t get away or can’t get elected any other way.”
While the media and elected Democrats have predictably dismissed Trump’s speech as nothing but more baseless conspiracy theories, their frantic reaction betrays serious concern about the facts that Trump has now placed before the American people. Virginia Senator Mark Warner, long one of the most hysterical liberal opponents of any election integrity measures, has spent the last several days claiming that nothing Trump says is true – even before he knew what Trump was going to say. Former Vice President Kamala Harris similarly posted on X hours before the speech that it would be full of “lies and conspiracy theories.”
The corporate media was also quick to issue bogus “fact checks” of Trump’s speech – and CNN, ABC, and NBC blacked out the address entirely. CBS and MSNBC cut away from it. Only NewsNation, Fox, and C-SPAN covered it in full. Trump called out NBC and ABC in his remarks for their censorship, blasting them as being “part of a plot.”
“They want to continue this fraud for whatever reason,” Trump said. “They want to keep it going.”
The disclosures in Trump’s address should not be dismissed along partisan lines. At minimum, they reveal serious vulnerabilities, troubling failures of transparency, and a government establishment far too willing to keep the public in the dark.
Congress now has a responsibility to investigate these claims, secure voter data, strengthen election systems, and pass basic safeguards such as proof of citizenship and voter identification – via the SAVE America Act. Americans deserve elections that are not merely declared secure, but that can be independently verified as secure.

The biggest problem here is not the problem itself but the fact that those in the position to fix it are refusing to do so They refuse to do their duty and are abetting the criminal itself. Taxpayer pays for their treachery. What did we do before we had computers, the internet, etc.? We got off of our asses and went to the polls, the way voting was designed to be. Even Thomas Jefferson warned us about election integrity. I’ve received voter packets in the mail for people that lived in my home prior to my family. Other than military service members, people in elderly facilities, and the few that truly cannot go out and vote, everyone should have to vote in person with a Voter ID Card. In our state we have Voter ID Cards, so what’s the big deal? People have to have a drivers license to drive a vehicle, there’s no racism about that. How is a Voter ID Card requirement racism? It’s not!! That’s what liberals use as an excuse to allow illegal voting in their districts. If you are really confident in your principles and candidates, you wouldn’t want illegal voters voting in elections. The libs want it because they know they can’t win national elections without it. Voting by mail is a joke and is ripe for corruption, as we’ve seen in the past. Remember the postal worker that disposed of a bunch of (mostly) overseas military votes? The majority of them were conservative votes. We can make secure arrangements for elderly facilities and military members, etc., everyone else has to get off their lazy backsides and go out and vote!!!!!
All I know from experience is that AZ use to be a Republican “stronghold”. Lately, it is a purple state. When the Democrats took hold of the elections several years ago, our once-smoothly run elections ceased. Our elections became plagued with “miscounting”, ballots were suddenly discovered, machines stopped working during the voting in Republican districts, etc. Always issues. Many of us protested and called for action but nothing changed over the years. AZ is one of the states who fought providing voter roles to the feds. Why would a state do that if they were not worried that cheating would be found??? So now we have two very radical liberals for Senators..Gallego and Kelly. We cannot even approach them to tell them to pass the Save America Bill. They are turning Communist like so many on the liberal side. People, if we do not win the mid-term and the 2028 elections, our country will be destroyed in just a couple of years. VOTE in ALL of your elections….local, state and federal. This post encourages us to contact our elected officials with our concerns. I have tried this. But in my state, they are deeply entrenched in the liberal democrat coalition that has made them rich and powerful. They aren’t interested in anything that doesn’t follow their way of thinking. I see them as a big part of our problem, and definitely not any part of the solution.The huge concentration of population in the 2 county metro area controls the entire state. The governor is basically an autocrat with a power war against Trump. She refuses to comply with any of our President’s policies or executive orders. Citizens’ needs and desires are ignored, as she believes we are ignorant and need her to run the state, as she knows better. There is a movement to attempt to separate from this state and join another, but the Congessional liberal majority will never allow it. Our only hope is to get true and honest voting. I am in Oregon, but there are other states in similar tragedies.
Anyone who understands computers has known from the first day electronic voting was announced that those machines could be manipulated. I worked in IT at the time and we were laughing about it and coming up with all the ways it could be done. No surprises.

Prior to the 2016 election, DIMMS were saying how the electronic machines could be hacked– I saw the videos! BUT in 2020 they said that there was NO WAY they could be hacked! And the drumbeat from the sewer media “No evidence.” There were 900 SWORN affidavits indicating irregularities, The fact that no judge would allow a case to proceed doesn’t negate the EVIDENCE! We know FOR A FACT that PA violated their constitution and allowed votes to be cast in an ILLEGAL way!
One year I helped work on cleaning up the voter registrations in my area. Yes, I did find people, long dead, who continued to vote for years – but also – people with various alisis – same birthday, same address – voting under each name, people whose addresses were vacant lots – my area is small towns & rural communities. Makes me wonder why anyone would be opposed to cleaning this mess up so we can have fair, honest elections. Most of the world requires voter ID.

Every liberal rebuttal about the vulnerabilities in our election security repeats the same talking point – that there is “no evidence” to back up the claims. Of course there is no evidence if you refuse to look for evidence, as has been the case for the past 5 years! Criminals generally will not walk up and turn themselves in. You have to do the legwork to track down the culprits. The main stream media only repeats what the Democrat machine tells them. Unbiased investigative journalism has died out in this country. And rogue judges have blocked the many attempts to gather information that could lead to the truth. The perpetrators of election fraud are counting on the voters to simply lose interest and give up, but Trump is not so easily dissuaded. So the attacks and accusations against him by those with something to hide will ramp up now that he is pushing for the truth once again. Count on it. No other president has ever had the fortitude to paint so big a target on himself. Trump needs all the prayers he can get.
Trump mentioned China interfering in our elections, and I suspect that there is other countries. And doubt if USA is innocent in this regard as there are examples of getting involved in other countries. This year Trump supported leader in Hungary & JD Vance visited just prior to election to support Orban & he lost the election. Was any money involved, I do not know. The President of Venezuela was captured & flown to USA this year & Trump said USA did not recognize him as winner cuz did not believe this was fair election. Other countries using campaign money & backing some candidates seems to be worldwide or am I wrong?

Randi Weingarten’s Teachers Union has over the past several decades slowly reduced and altered the US History and nearly eliminated CIVICS 101 fron the curricilum of all the Blue states. Parents with children in K-12 and beyond have no idea what their children are not being taught because they were denied those classes as well.

I tried to read the declassified materials. There was a lot there, but much was redacted. 1 unassailable fact the president didn’t bring up in support of the China interference is the counted ballots made from bamboo paper. Instead of making claims & bewailing their conclusions, start with the irrefutable evidence & cite the source, as listeners will have then have more of the meat of the matter.
Nothing was shocking about the presidents speech for those of us who have been paying attention. For those who don’t believe the facts, yes it might have been shocking.

Not one time did he specifically mention his loss in 2020. When the AZ. election. in 2020, got called around seven oclock, I knew that was questionable. When I went to bed around eleven, President Trump was ahead. way ahead. When I awakened, new ballots were brought in, Poll workers signed affidavits to the effect of much questionable behavior in some swint states.
No court nor state legislators would even look at the signed affidavits, the President’s lawyers tried in vain to get them to do. And, these lawyers were the only ones to be prosecued by the Biden department of justice. “Houston we have an election problem!!
