House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) joined Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), and Members of the China Task Force at Wednesday’s leadership press stakeout to discuss holding China accountable for lying about the Coronavirus and jeopardizing thousands of American lives. Whip Scalise thanked the China Task Force for their report outlining how Congress can take action to confront the Chinese Communist Party for their role in the COVID-19 outbreak.
Whip Scalise also blasted Speaker Pelosi for the Heroes Act 2.0 – a socialist wish list with no chance of becoming law that's chock full of shocking provisions completely unrelated to the COVID-19 pandemic.
