AMAC Foundation and Leadership Institute Launch Constitutional Advocacy Academy to Empower Members as Confident Citizen Leaders

Leesburg, FL — The AMAC Foundation announced a new partnership with the Leadership Institute to launch the Constitutional Advocacy Academy, a first-of-its-kind, year-long civic leadership program designed to equip AMAC members with the real-world skills needed to advocate effectively, lawfully, and confidently at every level of government.

Created specifically for engaged citizens who want to move beyond frustration and into meaningful action, the Constitutional Advocacy Academy offers AMAC members a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the U.S. Constitution, master the legislative process, and become trusted, credible advocates for the issues they care about most.

The Constitutional Advocacy Academy gives them the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to engage elected officials, influence policy, and lead in their communities—firmly grounded in constitutional principles and lawful advocacy.”

Unlike traditional advocacy training, the Constitutional Advocacy Academy begins with the constitutional legitimacy of citizen advocacy, reinforcing why the right to petition government is fundamental to self-governance. Participants then progress through a structured, three-phase curriculum that builds real-world fluency in how laws are made, how to communicate effectively with lawmakers, how to advocate ethically and legally, and how to grow grassroots influence without sacrificing civility or credibility.

Through monthly courses beginning in January 2026, AMAC members will learn how to:

• Engage confidently with Members of Congress and state legislators
• Communicate persuasively through letters, calls, meetings, and testimony
• Navigate lobbying rules and compliance requirements
• Research elected officials and prepare for impactful legislative meetings
• Build coalitions, mentor others, and lead civic engagement efforts locally

Participants who successfully complete the program will graduate with a Constitutional Advocacy Academy Diploma, recognizing their readiness to serve as informed, principled advocates and community leaders.

The Academy reflects the AMAC Foundation’s mission to strengthen civic literacy and empower citizens to play an active, constructive role in America’s constitutional system. Partnering with the Leadership Institute brings nationally recognized expertise in advocacy training, grassroots engagement, and leadership development to AMAC members nationwide.
