U.N. Leaders Once Again Display Their Overwhelming Anti-U.S. Bias

In the aftermath of U.S. strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities this weekend, U.N. leaders put their long-running anti-U.S. bias on display.

“I am gravely alarmed by the use of force by the United States against Iran today. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge — and a direct threat to international peace and security,” U.N. secretary general António Guterres wrote in a post on X Saturday night. He added that “member states” should “de-escalate” and abide by their obligations under international law, though he seemed to be referring primarily to the U.S. and Israel. The U.N.’s top human rights official, Volker Türk, echoed Guterres’s remarks and said that he is “deeply concerned” by President Trump’s strikes.

That the surgical U.S. targeting of a handful of nuclear sites rose to the level of a direct, public rebuke by Guterres makes for a glaring double standard, considering the patently belligerent and unlawful behavior he has overlooked from Beijing.

One would be hard pressed to find public remarks by Guterres that even question an act of the Chinese government. Guterres has never criticized the Chinese Communist Party’s escalating gray-zone aggression campaign against Taiwan, which features daily aerial sorties in the island’s air defense identification zone and the involvement of naval vessels. Nor did he and Türk speak out against China’s harassment of Philippines navy vessels near islands controlled by Manila last year. Those clashes came dangerously close to resulting in a shooting war between Beijing and a treaty ally of the United States, no doubt a matter of sufficient importance and urgency to merit a response by the U.N. chief. Türk, for his part, has unabashedly embraced China, traveling to the country for a “human rights” conference hosted by the Chinese government last year, even though his office said Beijing may be committing crimes against humanity against Uyghurs.

Although it is hardly new — Guterres has run the U.N. this way for almost a decade — the newest manifestation of this double standard could have profound repercussions for the U.N. As the Trump administration wraps up a sweeping review of U.S. commitments to international organizations, the U.N. finds itself in a particularly perilous position. Pursuant to an executive order that President Trump signed on February 4, his administration “will determine which organizations, conventions, and treaties are contrary to the interests of the United States and whether such organizations, conventions, or treaties can be reformed.”

With further U.S. funding cuts on the horizon, Guterres kicked off a cost-savings program, called UN80, in March. Its main component is a review of U.N. programming and staffing for redundancies. While the U.N. chief has denied that UN80 is a response to the Trump administration’s expected plans to gut U.S. funding for the U.N., the program is widely understood to be an effort to demonstrate to the new administration that it is a serious steward of public resources.

Deep cuts have already arrived at Turtle Bay via DOGE efforts to terminate U.S. support of superfluous programs; the House voted to codify billions in rescissions to claw back funding that went to U.N. organizations via multiple different accounts. The executive office of the secretary general understands that it can’t forestall most of the cuts that Trump’s team will make. Its best hope, instead, is to believe that by making a good faith restructuring effort, Guterres’s team can persuade the Trump team to maintain at least some small amount of current U.S. funding.

Critics of the U.N. already understand that the secretariat, which is supposed to be an impartial bureaucracy, is profoundly biased against the U.S. in general and against Trump’s foreign policy specifically. It is nonetheless noteworthy that Guterres is taking an extra step to remind Washington of this as the State Department wraps up its review of U.S. international engagement.

Lord willing, the cut in US funding for the UN will result in ushering them out of the United States altogether. The UN, i.e., Guterres, seems to have been anti-USA and Israel for some time. So why should be finance them, much less HOUSE them?

I doubt it will happen, but excommunicating the UN from US soil, along with George Soros (after seizing his assets) would be the most beneficial situation for the USA in a long time.

Can you imagine how many votes they would need to take to agree to penalize Iran if they had nuked Tel Aviv? The radioactive ashes would have cooled.
What a useless organization they have become. Perhaps it’s time to encourage them to move from NY and we should spend our huge annual fee on something more worthwhile.

SCREW the UN and boot them out of the United States. Better yet, there’s that scene in one of the Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers, where Cluseau’s former police chief goes mad and uses a giant laser to remove the United Nations building.

There’s nothing united about the UN, it’s just a global homeowners association with the United States paying most of the dues. Their failure to agree on anything has always been their benchmark. Real issues such as human trafficking, drug trafficking and international crimes against humanity should be at the top of their list. Where are they when it comes to endless wars they call conflicts? The United Nations appears to work very hard not to get involved until shamed into action. But their decision are always too little and too late.

And this is why many of us have advocated for years to leave the UN. Trump is all worried over countries paying their “fair share” when he should be worried about getting us out. As an American, I don’t care what the UN or any one else thinks as long as we are doing the right thing. We lead, we don’t follow, and we don’t bow Get out of the UN.

No mention by the UN when Russia attacked the Ukraine. Which has resulted in millions of death. President Trump ordered a strike on nuclear facilities, which our military executed with precision, and.resulted into a cease fire in the Middle East, without one death. May it turn into a lasting peace. But like with anything done by President Trump and his voters the globalists will oppose. Why do we have a UN that has never prevented, stopped a war or established peace among warring nations. American taxpayers pay for the luxury accommodation delegates enjoy in New York city. There is no democracy in the UN. But when an uprising has to be put down America is called upon to put it down. The world is upside down. The Russians, Chinese, North Korea, India and Iran are supported by the UN and Guterres is their mouthpiece. Again the sheep will swallow this trash hook line and sinker. I think president Trump should kick the UN out of New York. Let them move to Bejing the Chinese are running the UN already.

The UN is a hostile entity towards the USA . This vile entity is a twisted group of enemies that open attack the US yet are more than happy to take our tax dollars. Their members live in luxury in NYC taking part in all sorts of illegal and disgusting perversions. It would be safe to say that more than hafe of NYCs sex trade would go out of business if it weren’t for the perverts’ of the UN rooming the streets. We should serve the UN an eviction notice and kick them out of the USA. Let the perverts set up shop in Gaza or Russia or better yet in China and let them host the perverts.

Considering the fact that the UN, its Secretary General, Mr. Guterres, and its top human rights official, Mr. Turk, seem to favor China over practically every other member country, regardless of the massive amount of human rights infractions China consistently commits, I think it’s time for the United States to bow out of that organization. And since the headquarters for the UN is on American soil, it’s time we told them to vacate the premises and move their headquarters elsewhere. Since they are so biased against the United States and seem to prefer China, let them set up their new headquarters in Beijing or Shanghai. And as far as their usefulness in handling the problems of the world, they’ve been totally ineffective for far too long for us to be wasting our time and tax money continuing to fund them. Cut them off financially and let’s see just how long they last without the USA.

I say let them go. They stand for the New World Order and the US citizens do not need nor do we want to be in that dumpster fire. We can take care of our own and let their chips roll where they will. We did the whole world a favor and might have to ramp it up depending on Iran’s move.

The UN is a jobs program supporting thousands of American taxi drivers, restaurant and hotel workers, US Customs Agents, Security personnel, medical clinics, dozens of New York tourist attractions, theatres, strip clubs, bars, and hookers. All funded by American taxpayer largess.

I am having trouble deciding which of those I want to fund to entertain guests who enjoy diplomatic immunity and hate America. Maybe it is time to reallocate funds to other useful causes, like veteran homelessness.

I was wondering who owns the land the UN is built of and if it was Federal or State. The answer I got is the we have an treaty with the UN and they have control of the land. Question is how can we have a treaty with an organization? The UN cannot sign the Geneva Conventions owing to the fact the are not a country.

Belligerent Guterres had zero issues with Drone Strike Obama yet exhibits toxic TDS when Trump surgically removes the nuclear capabilities of the worst terrorist organization in the world. He would rather woo and appease tyrannical governments who would do harm to their own and the world at will while laughing at the stupidity of America’s leaders who have showered billions of USD on them, essentially funding their ability to construct and wage nuclear war at will. Trump understands that “si vis pacem, para bellum”.

The U.N. is nothing but a group of corrupt, self-serving foreigners who hate the USA until they need our money! Why we are still a member is beyond my grasp. They have allowed terrible crimes to occur without punishment all over the world and now they are upset that we took away a dangerous enemy of Israel and our own country! They need to go to another country and we need to stop any further payments to this corrupt group!
