Fellow Americans and AMAC Members,
We invite you to revisit President Ronald Reagan’s 1985 Thanksgiving Day Address, a moment when gratitude, history, and national unity converged in a simple yet powerful reflection. Drawing from the lines of his proclamation, Reagan began by grounding the day’s observance in “our Judeo-Christian heritage,” reminding Americans that the custom of thanksgiving has roots deep in our nation’s past.
He acknowledged the many facets of America’s blessings—from the bounty of harvests to the achievements of its citizens in every walk of life—and invited all homes and houses of worship to be filled “with the spirit of gratitude and praise and love.”
Reagan also took the opportunity to situate our freedom in the broader arc of history. He contrasted the liberty enjoyed by Americans with the suppression endured in parts of the world, saying: “My fellow Americans, let us keep this Thanksgiving Day sacred. Let us thank God for the bounty and goodness of our nation.”
In doing so, he encouraged a moment of reflection—not just on what we have, but on the responsibility that comes with freedom, and the common bonds that unite us despite many differences.
-From the AMAC family to yours: may this holiday bring you renewal, thankfulness and hope. Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to president Trump and his family and our fellow Americans. May God protect the president, and our country.
AMAC Family — HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Stay safe.
We in this United States need Jesus in our daily lives. The faith of our founding fathers needs to be reborn starting in our educational system.

Please join me today & say prayers for the two National Guard that were shot in Washington DC yesterday, and pray for family that time will heal all. God Bless our troops wherever they may be on this Thanksgiving day.
For those “Doubting Thomas’s” you need to ask yourselves how all life on the planet came into existence with all the “plumbing” intact to procreate; for without that, no species could survive. This has nothing to do with evolution, which is an incremental process. Anthropologists can study all they want, but they cannot explain the beginning of life. For me, it’s simple, there is a higher order in the universe, and from that you can work your way down thru history to certain events.
May God continue to bless USA ????????
Thanks for sharing, Reagan was the greatest at empowering all Americans. The United States was more united & grateful in 1985 even tho high inflation had just knocked the wind out of us. That big difference in 1985 is that the middle class was still the dominant factor that made America great. Just look at the ratio today of top management wages vs. their average employee & how times have changed.
Amen. May you rest in peace, Mr. Reagan.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of the citizens of America.
This is such a good reminder!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
i am 87 years old and have always felt the human race with their Brillant minds, still lost the most important element our grand ruler of the universe wanted us to practice, common sense.
Lord, how I miss these days. They weren’t perfect–we had plenty of problems–but compared to today, they were so much better.
