AMAC Supports Arizona Election Integrity Bill

If enacted, the Arizona Secure Elections Act will allow Arizona voters to choose to establish unambiguous election rules and strengthen election integrity statewide.

Dear Arizona State Legislator,

On behalf of AMAC - Association of Mature Americans’ 2 million-plus members, including nearly 66,000 residing in the state of Arizona, I write to offer our strong support for HCR 2001, the Arizona Secure Elections Act.

In recent years, confidence in our elections throughout the country has been eroded by inconsistent rules, late ballot casting, lack of voter ID, and a prevailing foreign influence, among other issues.

The Arizona Secure Elections Act restores confidence in Arizona’s elections by ensuring that only US citizens may vote in state elections, banning foreign money from funding candidates and ballot measures, requiring a government issued ID to vote, mail-in ballot address verification, guaranteed in-person voting at polling locations, and mandating that early voting ends no later than 7:00 PM the Friday before Election Day.

If enacted, this bill will allow Arizona voters to choose to establish unambiguous election rules and strengthen election integrity statewide.

AMAC members hold their right to vote as sacred, and they as well as all Arizonans deserve the opportunity to let their voice be heard on these important measures. I ask that you consider these voters as you debate the merits of HCR 2001 and urge you to support this critical legislation.
