Bohemia, NY — 02/25/2026— AMAC Action announced today that more than 18,000 messages have already been delivered to members of the United States Senate, including Senate Majority Leader John Thune — as part of a rapidly growing grassroots campaign urging lawmakers to support a Talking Filibuster and pass the SAVE America Act, legislation aimed at strengthening election integrity nationwide.

The campaign remains active and expanding, with AMAC Action calling on Americans who support stronger election safeguards to immediately participate by contacting their senators and adding their voices to the effort.

The SAVE America Act, which has already passed the U.S. House of Representatives, would:

  • Ensure that individuals registering to vote in federal elections are United States citizens
  • Require photo identification to vote in federal elections
  • Require states to maintain accurate voter rolls by removing noncitizens who may be registered

With polling among both Republicans and Democrats consistently showing strong public support for these provisions, AMAC Action leaders say the Senate now faces a defining moment to restore confidence in federal elections.

“Americans want fair, secure, and transparent elections,” said Rebecca Weber, CEO of AMAC. “Our members have already sent more than 18,000 messages to the Senate, but this campaign is far from finished. If you believe in protecting the integrity of American elections and ensuring that every legal vote counts, now is the time to step forward and participate.”

AMAC Action is urging senators to engage in a Talking Filibuster, requiring sustained debate on the Senate floor and ensuring the SAVE America Act receives full consideration and a vote.

“The House has acted, and the American people are speaking,” Weber added. “This growing grassroots movement shows that citizens across the country are paying attention and demanding action. We encourage everyone who supports the SAVE America Act to join this effort and make their voice heard today.”

AMAC Action continues mobilizing its nationwide network of activists and supporters as the Senate considers next steps on the legislation.

Americans who support the SAVE America Act are encouraged to participate by contacting their U.S. Senators here!

John Thune do the right thing. Pass the Save America Act, NOW. YOU are a servant to the American citizens, WE pay your salary. Get to work and stop playing games. You will find yourself and our republican congress in the minority if you fail, then how will you like being a slave to the demoncrats in addition to losing our 250 year old nation because you failed to act honorably. Do what’s right for our nation.

Thune has an ‘F’ rating from the Conservative Review Liberty Score. Not surprising he’s stalling. mcconnel’s buddy.. he’s more like senate MINority leader. Wish Pres. Trump not just criticize Dems but rino reps for failing to act on his Executive Orders. We have a matter of months to get in order in case Dems take power(rinos handing it to them)
God Bless Pres. Trump.

Senator Thune,
If the SAVE Act reflects the will of a strong majority of Americans, it deserves full, public debate on the Senate floor. I urge you to require a real talking filibuster rather than allowing procedural obstruction without accountability.
If members oppose requiring proof of citizenship to vote, they should be willing to explain their position openly and at length before the American people. Transparency and debate strengthen confidence in our institutions.
Please support a talking filibuster and ensure this issue receives full public consideration.

I contacted Nevada’s two senators and only Masto replied stating that illegals are necessary in Nevada for the casinos to operate. Also stated that Americans aren’t intelligent enough to get an ID for voting. I was very polite in my questions to the Senators, but never once has Rosen or her staff attempted to answer my inquires. I sent out the letter I received from Masto to over 200 republicans in Clark County and the answers I received back couldn’t believe the comments Masto Made. I work every day with the republican party to vote her out in the next election and will use her comments to help against her.

It is NOT a wrong move as Article 1, Section 4 allows the Congress to pass a law to alter regulations.

I disagree with this, and feel such an act would be considered Unconstitutional.

The Constitution says that the electors (voters) for the House must have the same qualifications as those required for the most numerous branch of the state legislature.

Meaning:

• States decide who can vote

• Federal House elections follow state voter qualifications

States decide who can vote. That includes any restrictions or verification process is left up to the states. Changing this would require the Constitution be completely rewritten. A tedious process, to be sure.

There was a reason why we didn’t want an all powerful federal/national authority. Sometimes, what seems like a good idea, leads us to terrible results. We should really be promoting re-establishing the Constitution, and restoring the United States.
