AMAC Book Club’s August selection, Red, White, and Black, shares essays that celebrate American resilience and offer a powerful counter-narrative on U.S. history.
BOHEMIA, NY — — The AMAC Book Club is pleased to announce Red, White, and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers, by civil rights leader Robert L. Woodson Sr., as its August Book of the Month selection.
This collection of essays, written by a diverse group of scholars, educators, and commentators, seeks to offer an alternative perspective on the American experience. With a focus on highlighting stories of resilience, perseverance, and empowerment, Red, White, and Black presents a counter-narrative to widely accepted critiques of the nation’s founding and development.
