J.R.R. Tolkien

J.R.R. Tolkien, born on January 3, 1892, in South Africa and deceased on September 2, 1973, in England, was an esteemed English writer, poet, and academic. Best known for his high-fantasy classics "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings," Tolkien was a professor at Oxford University, where he developed his signature stories and languages.
