AMAC Action Hosts Free Webinar: "A Constitutional Crisis: The Fight for Texas Law"

As Texans prepare for a defining ballot decision on March 3 — asking whether Texas should prohibit Sharia law from influencing state governance — AMAC Action is hosting a free virtual briefing to break down what's at stake for constitutional law in the Lone Star State.

Building on recent Texas legislation ensuring civil law — not religious legal codes — guides the state's courts, this session will explain the constitutional framework, how the ballot proposition process works, and how citizens can engage effectively in the campaign to uphold Texas law.

Presenter John Bennett will guide attendees through why voters are being asked to weigh in, what's truly at stake for the rule of law, and how early voting, beginning February 17, plays into the strategy leading up to March 3.
