Here they come again.
The left-leaning legal intelligentsia — the crowd that spent four years weaponizing the Department of Justice against Donald Trump, his associates and anyone who dared support him — has now cooked up a scheme to torch the American justice system from the inside out.
Jury nullification.
Rogue judges’ rulings to upend the president’s policies aren’t enough. What stands in their way? Juries. Of real Americans. The leftists say they have to go.
That’s the new war cry echoing through the law reviews, the op-ed pages, and the faculty lounges of every law school from Yale to Berkeley.
Liberal attorneys, facing a Trump administration that is finally holding criminals accountable, are now peddling the idea that jurors should ignore the law entirely if they don’t like the politics of the prosecution.
Let that sink in.
Not “the evidence doesn’t support a conviction.” Not “the law is being misapplied.” But: We don’t like who’s being prosecuted, so the jury should acquit regardless of the facts.
This is not justice. This is anarchy with a law degree.
Let’s be crystal clear about what jury nullification is and what it has done in American history — because the left sure doesn’t want to talk about that part. Jury nullification was the legal mechanism that let White murderers walk free throughout the Jim Crow South. When Emmett Till’s killers — Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam — were acquitted in 1955 by an all-White jury despite overwhelming evidence, that was jury nullification in action.
The jury knew what they were doing. They didn’t care about the law. They cared about the politics of the moment. The result? Two murderers walked out of that courthouse smiling and later bragged about the killing to a magazine.
And then there’s O.J. Simpson. Remember that trial?
Whatever you think about the evidence — and the evidence was mountainous — the O.J. verdict in 1995 was widely understood as a political statement by a jury that had watched Rodney King and decided this was payback time. Did Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman get justice? No. They got nullification. Two people are dead. Their families got nothing. O.J. got a golf game.
That is the legacy of jury nullification. Dead victims. Freed killers. A mockery of equal justice under law.
Now the left wants to resurrect this poison pill, not to protect the powerless but to protect their political class from accountability. The elites decide on guilt or innocence based on their current political agenda.
They’re terrified because the Trump administration is doing what no one in Washington has had the guts to do in decades: prosecuting the people who abused the levers of government power.
The corrupt FBI officials who launched a fraudulent investigation into a sitting president.
The prosecutors who hid exculpatory evidence.
The bureaucrats who weaponized the Internal Revenue Service, the Justice Department, the intelligence community against American citizens for political purposes. These people are now facing scrutiny, and, suddenly, the left discovers that jury nullification is a grand American tradition.
It’s not a tradition; it’s a cancer.
The rule of law is not a smorgasbord where you pick and choose which verdicts you like based on the politics of the defendant. The moment we accept that jurors can override the law based on their personal political sympathies, we no longer have a justice system. We have mob rule with better parking.
The left screamed for four years that “no one is above the law” when they were targeting Trump. Now that the tables have turned and documented misconduct is under investigation, is the law itself suddenly the problem?
No. The law is not the problem. The lawbreakers are the problem. And jury nullification is not a remedy; it is a wrecking ball aimed at the last institution standing between American citizens and political chaos.
Don’t let them sell you this poison. Not now. Not ever.

The OJ verdict was RIDICULOUS! All the evidence pointed to him and the “glove test” showed nothing because they let him put on a latex glove UNDER the real glove. Did anyone with a brain think it would fit under that condition? DIMMs are already practicing nullification of federal laws just like their racist, slave-holding party members did in the 1850s. The main difference is that they have many of today’s “slaves” mindlessly voting for them!

They have a picture of them ruling “the masses”, having all of the money and power. None of them is bright enough or does not have the memory to know what happened in other Communist take-overs. The original leaders were overthrown and they faced death! There is no kind of justice or law in Communism, it is simply the plan and the whim of the leader. It is my biggest fear that they will win in the mid-terms and in 2028. I never thought I would see such hate and lack of any amount of sympathy for the American people from others who simply “call” themselves Americans. True Americans care about truth and justice and love for other citizens. We are not animals who want death to anyone who does not agree with us. President Trump is likely the most consequential President in history, and certainly in my lifetime. He is attempting to right all the wrongs and get us back on track. Unfortunately, he can’t do it alone. Congress is in gridlock, frozen and afraid to act. Meanwhile the Justice system is rotting from the inside out.
Rogue Activist judges are clearly incapable of merely interpreting or following the law without displaying their obvious political bias, while illegal alien murders are caught on camera committing tragically horrific crimes only to be set free and deemed incapable of standing trial. Soft on crime policies and down grading felonies to misdemeanors has already led to skyrocketing crime rates. Funny thing… when there is NO accountability the system breaks!
Sanctuary Cities /States, all failing under democrats are destroying the very fabric of our nation. Our ENTIRE JUSTICE system is teetering in the balance. Numerous critical resources and our way of life are in peril. Sadly, if this is allowed to continue, it will spiral down to vigilante justice and military tribunals. Both of which will tear our country apart.

That explains why for all the times I got dragged in and put through jury selections every 6 years for several decades, times right after I renewed my driver’s license, Innever got selected because I didn’t give the impression that I would not accept nothing that didn’t prove the facts and would question allegation implying an alternative, especially if the prosecution, the one who has to prove the case, leaves out vital information and doesn’t provide all the evidence.I work form the premise that I have to be convinced not coerced by the popular CONCEPT.

It is the political judges that are reeking havoc in our legal system at the moment; and they’re choosing the judge (circuit court) that will side with them. So this jury nullification is the leftists’ next step. And they’re piling these changes on faster to over-burden DOJ.

What the left is doing is a perversion of the Jury Nullification process which was supposed to be a jury nullifying a law that was unjust, not letting violent criminals escape justice.
The left is good at perverting well meaning rule of law and the operation of our Republic. The fifth verse of amazing grace says it all as plane as can be when it says “when we’ve been here ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we’d first begun”. The corollary is that un-redeemed sinners like them will be in the same situation time wise in their fate which is to be in the lake of everlasting fire where they will have been cast. I suggest reading Revelation 20 and 21.

Didn’t the Zenger case establish the rights of jurors to ignore a law they disagree with, despite the standard instructions that juries hear from judges? Jurors right and left can use the same tactic.
Thomas Jefferson spoke on this subject. He felt that the jury was a check on bad legislation and judges who may only understand the rule of law but not the spirit of the law. Juries are supposed to look at the facts, yes, but they are also to consider the consequences of a law or regulation. Obviously heinous crimes are in the realm of settled law, and juries need to abide by the facts. But many laws and regulations are not in this realm and need to be judged on the effects they have on society. This is the very reason we have a jury system. Juries speak for the people; not for those who hold the reigns of power.
Jury nullification needs convictions for those practicing and promoting it. The lawyers and law schools seem to be perverting the laws we live by.

Historically, conservatives have been ardent supporters of jury nullification as a bulwark against oppressive government and corrupt judges and prosecutors. Without jury nullifications, juries become little more than a rubber stamp for judges and prosecutors. If a jury believes that a law is unconstitutional, it should be able to overrule it and find the victim of the law not guilty.
Conservatives and liberals have one thing in common. When the system, e.g., jury nullification and the filibuster, works in their favor and against the other party, they support it. When the system works against them in favor of the other party, they want to abolish it.
There are two sides of every argument.
Jury nullification is base on the fact that the jury is the all powerful agent in the court room. Not the lawyers, Not the judge. The jury makes it decision based on the evidence. Not how it is presented. Not how it is crafted by the judge. The jurist may consider the moral as well as the law. All this, of course, is base on thinking informed jurist.
I consider myself such. This being said, I have been called to jury duty three times. Three times when it is found I know of jury nullification, I have been rejected by the prosecution. the defense and the judge. Not because jury nullification is legitimate or not, but for fear they cannot play their games of manipulation of the facts.
Jury nullification, like most things today, is a two sided coin.
Seems exactly what happened to Trump in his New York trial.
An argument can be made for jury nullification of certain laws, as they apply in ALL cases. Arguing a law should not exist is different than refusing to apply the law to individuals because you don’t want to convict those people.
