Defending Faith in the Age of AI

Freedom in Artificial Intelligence and Technology for Humanity

AI is rewriting the rules of information, education, and culture. If people of faith don't have a seat at the table, our values will be written out of the future.

The reality

AI is already shaping what your children believe.

It's in their classrooms, their search results, and their feeds — and no one asked your permission.

What's at Risk

AI Is Becoming the Most Powerful Gatekeeper in History

Without transparency and accountability, AI could quietly shape what people see, hear, and believe — while amplifying bias against people of faith on an unprecedented scale.

of Americans identify with a religious faith, yet AI systems are built with little to no input from faith communities

78%

Rebecca Weber, CEO of AMAC

"The fight for religious liberty is entering a new frontier, and ensuring AI remains free from anti-Christian bias may become one of the defining civil rights challenges of our generation."

— Rebecca Weber, CEO, AMAC

Our Mission

Why Faith First Alliance Exists

Faith First Alliance exists to protect Christians and people of faith from discrimination by artificial intelligence and Big Tech — and to ensure that AI systems are developed with an ethical framework rooted in American Constitutional principles, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the moral dignity of human life.

We believe AI should serve humanity — not redefine it. As artificial intelligence increasingly shapes what people see, learn, and believe, it is critical that these systems respect the beliefs and values of hundreds of millions of Americans of faith. The Faith First Alliance unites AMAC, TruPlay, and a growing network of faith leaders, organizations, and concerned citizens to ensure that AI is transparent, accountable, and free from anti-religious bias.

Brent Dusing, CEO of TruPlay

"If AI will help shape the future of human knowledge, it must never be allowed to treat Christian beliefs as misinformation, extremism, or second-class viewpoints."

— Brent Dusing, CEO, TruPlay

Who Is Impacted

AI Bias Doesn't Discriminate — It Impacts Everyone of Faith

From pastors to parents, content creators to classrooms — AI is reshaping how faith is represented, shared, and valued across every corner of American life.

Faith Leaders & Organizations

Faith Leaders & Organizations

AI systems are already classifying sermons, religious teachings, and faith-based content as 'sensitive' or 'controversial' — limiting their reach and suppressing their voice.

Parents & Grandparents

Parents & Grandparents

AI-powered tools are shaping what children learn and believe. Without safeguards, these systems can undermine the values families work to instill.

Christian Content Creators

Christian Content Creators

Algorithms deprioritize, demonetize, and shadow-ban faith-based content creators — threatening their ability to reach the audiences who need their message most.

Educators & Researchers

Educators & Researchers

AI-generated educational materials risk presenting biased or secular-only perspectives, sidelining religious viewpoints from academic discourse.

Churches & Ministries

Churches & Ministries

AI-driven platforms control advertising, fundraising, and communication tools that churches rely on — and can restrict access based on content deemed 'non-inclusive.'

Conservative Organizations

Conservative Organizations

AI models trained on biased datasets systematically treat conservative and religious perspectives as misinformation, threatening free expression and open debate.

Our Objectives

What the Faith First Alliance Is Fighting For

Protect Christians and Christian Organizations from AI and Big Tech Discrimination

AI systems must not classify, suppress, or penalize content simply because it reflects Christian beliefs or traditional values. Faith-based organizations deserve equal access to digital platforms, advertising tools, and AI-powered services — without being treated as controversial, harmful, or second-class.

Ensure AI Contains an Ethical Framework Compatible with American Constitutional Principles

Artificial intelligence must be built and governed within a moral and legal framework that reflects the foundational principles of the United States Constitution.

  • Freedom of Speech — AI must not censor, suppress, or deprioritize lawful speech based on viewpoint, religious belief, or political perspective.

  • Freedom of Religion — AI systems must respect and protect the free exercise of religion, never treating faith-based content as harmful, extremist, or misinformation.

  • Intellectual Property Rights — AI must respect creators' rights and not exploit, replicate, or redistribute copyrighted faith-based content without proper authorization.

  • Moral Foundations — AI development must recognize the existence of objective moral truths and not impose relativistic or secular-only ethical frameworks on its outputs.

  • AI Has No Independent Moral Value — Artificial intelligence is a tool created by humans. It must never be granted personhood, moral authority, or rights that supersede those of human beings.

  • The Moral Dignity of Human Life — AI systems must uphold the inherent dignity and value of every human life, from conception to natural death, and must never be used to undermine this principle.
