The Year Ahead: At Home, Nearby, and Far Away

Aside from disinformation by programmed negative Democrats, extremists of all kinds, and their always gloom-supporting media allies, the end of this year’s news is generally good.

If the latest economic signals continue, the Trump domestic strategy is working. If events in our hemisphere follow current trends, our neighborhood’s security will improve. And if diplomacy underway in troubled distant lands succeeds, a period of peace and prosperity will begin to replace current chronic violence, hostilities, and destruction.

Nothing in global affairs is certain, of course, but a persisting sense of drift and incoherency that has existed in recent years at home, nearby, and far away is evaporating as a more hopeful period of global geopolitics comes into view.

Changes of this magnitude are not accidental.

Long-term uncertainties remain as populous India and China further industrialize, and Iran and North Korea continue to spew aggression and threat. The Middle East remains a hotspot of potential trouble. Global technological advances like AI and Nature itself will also always supply us with challenges and surprises.

But the notion that the initiatives of the new federal government are failing is simply fake news. Prognostications of doom are the propaganda of those who oppose the Trump administration for self-serving partisan reasons.

At home, developments like control of our borders, deportations of criminal and terrorist-linked illegal aliens, elimination of massive economic fraud of federal resources, lower taxes, diminished inflation, significantly improved national economic conditions, elimination of counterproductive federal regulations, a turnaround in energy production, and a rise in new industries and jobs for American workers are all creating a renewed sense of hope and optimism.

Throughout South and Central America, voters are choosing conservative leaders and governments to replace leftist and socialist oligarchic leaders and chronically failed regimes. Attempts by distant autocratic superpowers to infiltrate and control smaller nations in the hemisphere are being repulsed by a renewed Monroe Doctrine.

Diplomatic settlements, serious negotiations, temporary ceasefires, and new regional alliances are also coming to fruition. President Trump has decided no conflict is too small, nor any hostility too large for warring parties to find some negotiated way to avoid ongoing violence and bloodshed. Less than one year into his second term, he has already brokered an end to more than a half-dozen conflicts.

While leaders of the various European nations indulged in empty and misdirected condemnations of Israel when it responded to murderous attacks on its civilians in a surprise invasion in October 2023, the U.S. stood by its ally and assisted in its efforts to eliminate the terrorism originating in Gaza and supported by Iran’s proxies throughout the region. When necessary, Trump also took decisive action to strike against Iran itself, eliminating its ability to quickly produce a nuclear weapon.

When the time came to end hostilities in Gaza, only the U.S. was able to impose a ceasefire that brought the hostages home and created a phased plan to bring some peace to the region and provide a framework for new alliances. The situation there today is far more stable than when Trump took office.

In Ukraine, where hundreds of thousands of young soldiers as well as civilians were dying and more were being wounded and made homeless in a war with no end in sight, feckless Europe and China were unable to create an environment for negotiations. But President Trump is doing so.

In numerous local disputes between small nations and even some large ones, it was not the United Nations or any world leader who intervened before hostilities got out of hand. Instead, it was President Trump who got involved and brought about settlements. His business acumen for cutting deals has time and again proven instrumental in international diplomacy.

President Trump also has led efforts to create and enlarge the Abraham Accords, to make NATO more self-reliant, to rewrite better trade agreements with America’s North American neighbors and other allies around the world, and to block malign foreign infiltration in South America.

This is hardly a list of failures. It is instead a list of a remarkable number of achievements and movements in the right direction in less than the first year of a new administration in Washington, D.C. There is no telling what curveballs 2026 might bring, but there is no doubt that the country is now on strong footing to deal with them.

What a difference an election can make!

A good story of great accomplishments by President Trump and his administration. It is only a wishful thought the Leftists would wake up to reality, but they are being paid to create more chaos and mislead the ignorant to regain power so they can finish taking away the freedoms that were given to us by the Founding Fathers. People need to wake up and realize about the false rhetoric that the left is spewing, will be detrimental to the nation if the Leftist Democrats regain control in the Congress in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections. If they do regain control, this nation will be lost.

Overall, I feel much more secure with President Trump than I did under the Biden/Harris administration that I truly believe was controlled mostly by Socialist and Communist outside and foreign influences.

In spite of the democrats efforts to undermine everything president Trump has done and accomplished. The democrats hate those Americans who believe in a Constitutional Republic. They want a communist regime. It will not work it never has. Because any thinking people will not bow down to a communist Marxist dictator. They have been working with the MSM propaganda spewers to make zombies out of Americans. But the many who have lived under such tyranny, or, has studied these countries knows all too well. The majority of people like the freedoms America offers. The democrats are the party of gloom and doom. Of spreading racism, xenophobia and division. All to gain absolute power over the people. Look at Newsom in CA or the mayor in LA. Or Pritzker in Illinois and the mayor of Chicago. All against the people that are not obeying them. They are working against America. They hate America and those who oppose them. Obama started it. The most divisive president. That is why they are going after president Trump. Only they are failing at every turn. In the courts and in the voting booths. Their evil platform and policies are destroying this country. And finally the people are waking up. President Trump is succeeding on all fronts in spite of the obstructions and undermining tactics of the democrats. 2026 will be the year we get our America back. Away from the fraud and mandates of a bunch of communist globalists dictators.

Perhaps the BEST 11 month period in US history. Great things going with the DIMMs and swamp media dragging their feet and throwing tantrums the whole way!

AMERICA NEEDS HONEST, CONSTITUTIONAL THINKING IN OUR LEGAL SYSTEM. I THINK IF WE HAD THAT AND NOT A LARGE BUNCH OF TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED LAWYERS WHO WERE MADE LAWYERS BY A VERY CORRUPT DEI THINKING IN OUR COLLEGES. ALL STUPID ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BIG ONES.

Politics is a short memory game where the out going blames the incoming for not fixing their screwups fast enough. And because fixing screwups takes longer than creating them, dems will again blame Republicans for their inability to deliver from the very mess they themselves created in the first place. The American people will also forget why the democrats were ousted and vote them back in despite they were the party that started this debacle. The main stream will spoon feed inaccurate and misleading information to the lazy or impatient, and the whole thing starts all over again.
Each time that pendulum swings back to dems rule, they drive the nation further and deeper to despair.

President Trump demolished the Washington Swamp by rocketing into 2025. He was not going to let them hobble him, as they did throughout his first term of office. I am glad for it. Now the Left is playing catch-up by littering Trump’s road with whatever trash they can find or make up. So I do not expect quite as much momentum in 2026, unless we join in and block the Left’s efforts. Now is the time for citizen participation in how we want our country to be run. Career politicians have not done such a good job. It is time for US to Make America Great Again.

For those who live in California, Illinois, Michigan and New York. The New Year brings new tax cuts, no tax on tips and other great things. The states I listed above are the Blue states who are going to block these great tax cuts for the people. Time to make your voices heard. It’s a shame these governor’s want to do this. It’s time for change. It is sickening.

Most importantly, we must continue to report the good news as well as the bad news, but dwell on the good while taking action to prevent the bad. Today’s Democrats under the control of Progressives only want to keep US all in a constant state of fear and confusion. This only leads to more death by suicide and despair.
