While I prefer Daylight Saving Time, it's high time to pick one or the other nationwide and stop switching back and forth.

  2. WB in OH 3

On June 20th, the sun rises at 5:17 AM, DST in Hartford, CT. That means it starts to get daylight at 4:45. When on Standard time, it would be 4:17/3:45. AM. This is true anywhere near the eastern border of all time zones. I don't know about you, but I don't want it getting daylight that early. Conversely, on Dec. 20th in Columbus OH, (on the west side of the time zone), the sun will rise at 7:59 AM, with daylight beginning at 7:29 EST. With DST, it would be 8:59/7:44. Not only would kids be getting on the bus in the dark, those of us who work construction jobs would have to go to work in the dark or start our days later. Everybody else would be driving to work in the dark. This is not a good idea.

President Donald Trump recently revoked White House access for journalists from CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, accusing the outlets of repeatedly publishing false information. A federal judge subsequently ordered their access temporarily restored, finding that the administration likely violated their right to due process. Which of the following best reflects your opinion?

57% — Presidents should have broad discretion to exclude whatever news outlets they want - the First Amendment does not guarantee any particular outlet access to the White House.

“First of all, they are not journalists! They are mouth pieces and propogandists for the Democrat Socialist of America (DSA). Politico (which sounds like a serious skin rash), CNN (Constant Nefarious Nonsense), and MSNO…”

The Trump administration has proposed allowing eligible stay-at-home parents to receive assistance from an existing federal child care program that currently helps working families pay for outside child care. The proposal would not create a new pool of federal funding, but would expand who can access child care funds already appropriated by Congress. Do you support this proposal?

48% — Yes, but only if the program includes strict income, work, and eligibility requirements, such as ensuring illegal aliens do not have access to the funds.

“Instead of potentially raising government spending resulting in more government abuse, fraud and waste how about a codified law allowing for less taxes so 1 parent can stay home and care for the growing children. You kno…”

25 years after 9/11, what do you believe should be the most important priority for our leaders to honor our commitment to “Never Forget”?

49% — Ensure that young people understand what happened on 9/11, learn about the evil individuals and ideology behind the attacks, and honor those lost.

“Never vote for a muslim or anyone sympathetic with muslim ties. Look at NYC, Michigan, and Minnesota for examples of Anti-American, communist leaders they create. How soon (25 years) NYC forgot after saying "Never Forge…”

What is your opinion of Flock Safety cameras, which have been increasingly used by police departments and communities across the country?

40% — I support them, but only with strong privacy safeguards and strict limits on how the data can be stored, shared, and accessed.

“You have to ask yourself, why now? Data centers, Flock cameras, Axon cameras, popping up everywhere at an alarming rate. Most without a vote or public approval. Why now? Can they be used for good? Yes, but. . . . Once…”

President Trump has announced new “Gold Standard Childhood Vaccine Recommendations” that significantly reduce the number of routinely recommended childhood vaccine shots and give parents a greater role in deciding which vaccines their children receive. Which statement best reflects your view?

53% — I strongly support the change. The childhood vaccine schedule has become excessive, and parents - not government - should have the primary authority to make these decisions with their doctors.

“Many parents are not the brightest bulbs raising children today. Have you seen the generation of idiots voting for Socialist Democrats (aka communists)?”

Which statement best reflects your view on the threat posed by radical Islam to the United States?

75% — It is a very serious and growing threat that Congress and the Trump administration should treat as a top national priority.

“Islam’s holy text is the Qur’an but was not actually “written” until decades after the death of Muhammad (AD 570-632), who was the founder of Islam. Islam teaches a concept known as “abrogation” or replacement. Under th…”

Do you believe that Dr. Fauci should face prosecution?

78% — Yes. The evidence already clearly shows that Dr. Fauci should be prosecuted.
