Today’s Democrats Don’t Represent Democracy

In late August, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., suspended his campaign and endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump, sending shockwaves throughout the political world. His reasoning was something that undoubtedly sounds familiar to many other disaffected Democrats: today’s Democratic Party does not represent democracy.

When he dropped out of the race, Kennedy described the modern Democrat Party as “the party of war, censorship, corruption, big pharma, big tech, big ag, and big money.” As he explained, “The DNC waged continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself. Each time that our volunteers turned in those towering boxes of signatures needed to get on the ballot, the DNC dragged us into court, state after state, attempting to erase their work and disappear with the will of the voters, who signed those petitions… It deployed DNC-aligned judges to throw me and other candidates off the ballot, and to throw President Trump in jail.”

RFK Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, likewise accused the Democratic National Committee of sabotage. “They have banned us, shadow-banned us, kept us off stages, manipulated polls, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state, they’ve even planted insiders into our campaign to disrupt it and to create actual legal issues for us,” she said.

The far-left wing of the Democratic Party will deploy whatever tactics are necessary to ensure control of the White House and all branches of government. They even masterminded a soft coup to replace Biden with Harris and deny voters a say through an open primary.

One word comes to mind to describe the modern Democrat Party as Kennedy and Shanahan describe it: Machiavellian. The term stems from Niccolo Machiavelli’s famous 1515 book, The Prince. In that work, Machiavelli advises an ambitious young prince that rulers should prioritize pragmatism over morality, advocating for the use of cunning, manipulation, and even cruelty when necessary to maintain control. He also argues that it is better for a ruler to be feared than loved, as fear is a more reliable way to maintain authority.

Specifically, Machiavelli says, if the prince secretly paid criminals under the table to burn barns, kill cows, smash windows, and set buildings on fire, thus creating crises and terror in the streets, the people would cry out for help. The prince could then come in and get rid of the “useful idiot” criminals he paid. The people, unaware of his subterfuge, would praise the prince as a hero.

In today’s Democrat Party, extensive lawfare against Trump, the Kennedy campaign, and many others, along with the sweeping anti-Israel movement among the progressive left, pose a dire threat to the democratic values that safeguard our freedoms and liberties.

Democrats today claim they are the defenders of democracy, yet they have spent all of the last four years trying to imprison their chief political rival, including by resorting to “novel legal theories.” The line from today’s Democrat Party seems to be that in order to “save democracy” from the supposed existential threat of Trump, the American people must accede to Democrats using the power of the government to impoverish and if necessary imprison the former president to keep him out of the White House.

Meanwhile, while Democrats claim to be the party of “inclusion” and “tolerance,” many elected Democrats are fueling vicious anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment among some factions in the Democrat Party base.

Even this, however, is not without historical precedent. The Democrat Party has a 100-year history of voting against every piece of civil rights legislation in Congress from 1866 to 1966. Democrats voted to keep African Americans in slavery, opposing the 13th Amendment, which officially freed the slaves. Only four Democrats voted for it. Republicans also passed the 14th Amendment, which granted slaves U.S. citizenship; Democrats voted against it. Republicans passed the 15th Amendment, which gave slaves the right to vote. All 56 Democrats in Congress voted against it. Republicans passed all of the Civil Rights laws of the 1860s — including the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the Reconstruction Act of 1867 following the Civil War.

The Republican Party itself was founded as the “anti-slavery party” in 1854. The party subsequently gave us President Abraham Lincoln and ultimately the Emancipation Proclamation, which led to the liberation of slaves. Republicans supported African Americans not only in the 1800’s, but in modern times as well.

In the 1960s, with the exception of Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson, who was instrumental in the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act in the wake of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the truth is that the Democrat Party was the largest single voting block against civil rights legislation.

Long after slavery was over, the Democrat Party continued down its path to deny African Americans their rights. Referred to as the era of disenfranchisement, Democrats worked to exclude blacks from civil liberties. PBS reported, “The Democratic Party identified itself as the ‘white man’s party’ and demonized the Republican Party as being ‘Negro dominated,’ even though whites were in control.” The Democratic Party was responsible for passing Jim Crow laws, in addition to Black Civil Codes that forced Americans to utilize separate drinking fountains, swimming pools, and other facilities in the 20th century.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a Republican, appointed Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren who penned the Brown v. Board of Education decision that ended school segregation forever.

Republican Sen. Everett Dirksen from Illinois (the “Land of Lincoln”) wrote numerous pieces of legislation including the Civil Rights Act of 1968 which banned discrimination in housing.

Republican President Ronald Reagan in 1984 signed into law the holiday now known as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and President Donald Trump signed the historic FIRST STEP Act into law, the most meaningful criminal justice reform in a generation.

It is alarming to witness all the chaos, crime, and unenforced laws under this current administration of Biden/Harris, which has also resulted in open borders, escalating inflation, and a litany of woke policies. It will only get worse under Harris/Walz, who are both extreme progressives. It is my prayer that the majority of American citizens will vote for Donald J. Trump and his common sense 2024 platform featuring “twenty promises” to America:

  1. SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION.
  2. CARRY OUT THE LARGEST DEPORTATION OPERATION IN AMERICAN HISTORY.
  3. END INFLATION, AND MAKE AMERICA AFFORDABLE AGAIN.
  4. MAKE AMERICA THE DOMINANT ENERGY PRODUCER IN THE WORLD, BY FAR!
  5. STOP OUTSOURCING, AND TURN THE UNITED STATES INTO A MANUFACTURING SUPERPOWER.
  6. LARGE TAX CUTS FOR WORKERS, AND NO TAX ON TIPS!
  7. DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR BILL OF RIGHTS, AND OUR FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS, INCLUDING FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF RELIGION, AND THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS.
  8. PREVENT WORLD WAR THREE, RESTORE PEACE IN EUROPE AND IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND BUILD A GREAT IRON DOME MISSILE DEFENSE SHIELD OVER OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY – ALL MADE IN AMERICA.
  9. END THE WEAPONIZATION OF GOVERNMENT AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
  10. STOP THE MIGRANT CRIME EPIDEMIC, DEMOLISH THE FOREIGN DRUG CARTELS, CRUSH GANG VIOLENCE, AND LOCK UP VIOLENT OFFENDERS.
  11. REBUILD OUR CITIES, INCLUDING WASHINGTON DC, MAKING THEM SAFE, CLEAN, AND BEAUTIFUL AGAIN.
  12. STRENGTHEN AND MODERNIZE OUR MILITARY, MAKING IT, WITHOUT QUESTION, THE STRONGEST AND MOST POWERFUL IN THE WORLD.
  13. KEEP THE U.S. DOLLAR AS THE WORLD’S RESERVE CURRENCY.
  14. FIGHT FOR AND PROTECT SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE WITH NO CUTS, INCLUDING NO CHANGES TO THE RETIREMENT AGE.
  15. CANCEL THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE MANDATE AND CUT COSTLY AND BURDENSOME REGULATIONS.
  16. CUT FEDERAL FUNDING FOR ANY SCHOOL PUSHING CRITICAL RACE THEORY, RADICAL GENDER IDEOLOGY, AND OTHER INAPPROPRIATE RACIAL, SEXUAL, OR POLITICAL CONTENT ON OUR CHILDREN.
  17. KEEP MEN OUT OF WOMEN’S SPORTS.
  18. DEPORT PRO-HAMAS RADICALS AND MAKE OUR COLLEGE CAMPUSES SAFE AND PATRIOTIC AGAIN.
  19. SECURE OUR ELECTIONS, INCLUDING SAME-DAY VOTING, VOTER IDENTIFICATION, PAPER BALLOTS, AND PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP.
  20. UNITE OUR COUNTRY BY BRINGING IT TO NEW AND RECORD LEVELS OF SUCCESS.

Most of us are aware of the turncoats of the Socialist Democrat Party. Well aware of how the enemy has used the educational system to undermine the integrity of the people of our nation. Pres. Trump has a good agenda, but it won’t be advanced unless he gets the support of the Congress and gets rid of the many socialists that are holding Federal offices around the nation. It will be a tough and rough road ahead for the nation.

I thought long and hard about the 2024 election for four years. Democrats crazy and evil; Trump the bully we need but you don’t have to like or agree with him 100% all the time. Trump does not seem evil but likes to fight his enemies and crush them. RFK JR seemed the middle of the road sensible one but he faced lawfare like Trump and was attacked by Democrats not by Trump. RFK JR endorsed Trump so I merged my vote into one vote by his actions. Hopefully RFK JR can Make America Healthy Again. The MAHA campaign alongside MAGA campaign.

Democrats do not even know what kind of government the founding of this country is based upon. That kind of stupidity does not deserve any attention from me.
