Former President Joe Biden’s office announced Sunday that he has been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that has metastasized to the bone.
The news is tragic, as are all cancer diagnoses. Support has rightly poured in from across the political spectrum, with President Donald Trump wishing his predecessor “a fast and successful recovery.”
Still, while we can and should keep Biden in our prayers, his diagnosis raises yet more troubling questions about just how sick Biden was throughout his tenure – and how much those closest to him knew about the president’s condition.
Prostate cancers are rated on what’s known as the Gleason scale, which categorizes how aggressive the disease is from 1 to 10. Biden’s office reported that his cancer has a Gleason score of 9.
The most immediate question is whether Biden or anyone on his medical team or political staff knew about the cancer before this announcement. In a post on X that has garnered more than 2.2 million views, Dr. Steven Quay, a medical doctor, alleged that “Prostate cancer is the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases.”
“Even with the most aggressive form, it is a 5-7 year journey without treatment before it becomes metastatic,” Dr. Quay continues. “Meaning, it would be malpractice for this patient to show up and be first diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025. It is highly likely he was carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer throughout his White House tenure, and the American people were uninformed.”
If this is indeed the case, it would be the most earth-shattering development yet in the rapidly expanding scandal of the cover-up of Joe Biden’s cognitive and physical decline. Politics aside, allowing – or forcing – a very ill, often confused man to endure the rigors of the presidency is nothing short of elder abuse.
There are, at the very least, major questions for Biden’s medical team, which reported a clean bill of health on the president as recently as last February. If Dr. Quay is to be believed, it’s possible Biden’s cancer could have been discovered even before he announced his candidacy in 2020.
One does not need a medical degree to look with skepticism on the claim (which the corporate media is sure to repeat in the days and weeks ahead) that this is the first anyone knew of the disease. The President of the United States has access to the top doctors and medical facilities in the world. Did they really not check for signs of something as common as prostate cancer – a disease millions of older men are screened for every year?
Moreover, in light of the recent revelations about the cover-up of Biden’s mental deterioration, the public has absolutely no reason to trust the emerging narrative on this front either.
Just last week, we learned that Biden’s health was apparently so bad in 2023 that advisors privately discussed the potential need for a wheelchair if he won re-election. In another instance, Biden allegedly did not recognize movie star George Clooney at an event, despite the fact that the two men had known each other for nearly two decades. And of course, there were the scores of occasions when Biden appeared visibly confused during public events, wandering off stage or mumbling incoherently.
Through all of this, virtually every elected Democrat, with help from the media, insisted that Biden was sharper than ever and was showing no signs of slowing down. Is it really a stretch to question whether Biden’s cancer was part of this cover-up?
As many social media users were quick to note, Biden stated that “I and so many other people that I grew up with have cancer” during a speech in 2022. At the time, the White House and media dismissed the remark as just another gaffe. But that explanation deserves renewed scrutiny now.
In this case, perception may be all that matters, and it doesn’t look good for Democrats. The most generous interpretation of everything we’ve learned over the past week is that the people closest to Biden failed or refused to see that the president was seriously ill and unfit to serve, and they propped him up to run for re-election anyway to satiate their own lust for power.
The alternative is far darker: The Democrat establishment, legacy media, and even Biden’s own family conspired to re-elect a cancer-ridden 82-year-old man in a severe state of cognitive decline by hiding his actual condition from the public, and they were only forced to abandon their plot when Biden melted down on the debate stage last June. If they had gotten their way, this country would now have a president clearly unable to perform his duties just four months into his second term – and Kamala Harris would be waiting in the wings.
More details are needed to confirm who exactly knew what and when. But the American people deserve answers. While the left fearmongers about a “constitutional crisis” under Donald Trump, it increasingly appears as if the country was in the midst of an actual constitutional crisis during Biden’s presidency and was staring down the barrel of an even more severe “threat to democracy” had he stayed in the race and won re-election.
Democrats and the media may even now be cynically using this cancer diagnosis to distract from their culpability in hiding Biden’s condition. Just hours after the news went public, CNN’s David Axelrod declared that discussion of Biden’s mental faculties while in office “should be more muted and set aside for now.”
The Biden health scandal is both a tragedy and a damning indictment of the political machine that elevated him. If the cover-up is as deep as it appears, this isn’t just malpractice – it’s betrayal at the highest level.

How could the most medically monitored individual in the world get to this stage in cancer with no one knowing about it. Lies, that’s how! Joe was never president. Trump needs to announce an investigation into the apparent malpractice by Biden’s medical team. If they were not able to determine that he had prostate cancer before it got to Stage Four metastatic cancer, they should be criminally charged and their licenses revoked. A PSÅ test that detects prostate cancer even in its earliest stages is an annual test men take the way women get a mammogram. Biden’s cancer obviously didn’t get this advanced in a few months! If the AMA had any morals, they would revoke the medical license of Joe’s doctor for ignoring both his physical and mental problems. Seems I remember in one of Joe’s mental slips a while back, he said he had cancer! Maybe he was actually lucid that day!
Well, I am an MD and though retired, have seen many cases of prostate cancer through my career. Dr. Quay is being nice and conservative and basically correct in his comments. As an example, right now a good friend of mine has advanced, metastatic prostate cancer. He was diagnosed 21 years ago. He is 80 years old and has 2 metastatic nodes in his pelvis. He has been offered a final try at a new injectable medication that costs $220,000 per shot. Yes, you read that right, $220K, for which he pays $2,500 per shot. He will receive 6 shots total. This is a new medicine that I am not familiar with and is a radioisotope. Though I practiced for 28 years, oncology was not my specialty. I did Emergency Medicine and rural family practice. Again, through the years I have seen and diagnosed many cases of prostate cancer so have a general familiarity of it and it’s course, even late and undiagnosed, because of the tough farm people that I dealt with. Prostate cancer diagnosed after 70YO is a different ballgame typically and is slower to progress and easier to treat. This problem with Biden has probably been going on for a similar amount of time, 10-20 years. This is not aggressive, rather advanced, a big difference. Hope this helps
Even though President Biden’s cancer has metastasized to the bone, it also is common for it to go to the brain. This is what happened to my husband in 2018. He passed in March 2019, I experienced the decline and it’s terrible. But to think President Biden may have had dementia, and he may have, doesn’t negate the probability of prostate metastasis to the brain.

I understand that in the days of democrat control, this may not have applied, however. Now that we once again know what a male is. Every male over the age of 50, that is at least somewhat concerned about their health, gets a “finger wave” which is the first clue for prostate cancer. This usually continues every 3-5 years I think if I remember correctly. (Being much older, it’s difficult to remember). This “finger wave is very much a part of a routine annual physical as we get older, until our prostate is removed. It would be impossible for this former president, and his doctor(s), not to have known about this condition. Unless of course this is a new, unheard of, turbo prostate cancer that goes for 0-9 almost overnight.
