It’s easy to grow desensitized to the threat of gender ideology in schools. It seems every day, there is a fresh new outrage about kindergarteners getting indoctrinated into “trans joy” and school clinics offering transgender “medicine” for minors.
President-elect Donald Trump’s historic reelection victory represented a loud rebuke to the transgender movement—after all, one of his most effective ads slammed Vice President Kamala Harris, Democrats’ presidential nominee, as being “for they/them,” while Trump is “for you.” However, this noxious ideology still has a stranglehold in many institutions, and it is backed up in some cases by official state policy.
In fact, no fewer than 16 U.S. states have curriculum standards that force teachers’ hands on the issue, according to an important new report from The Heritage Foundation.
The report “Gender Ideology as State Education Policy” highlights the state-level education standards and frameworks of 16 states that encourage gender ideology, which the report defines as “the subordination or displacement of factual, ideologically neutral lessons about biological sex with tell-tale notions such as ‘gender identity,’ ‘sex assigned at birth,’ and ‘cisgender.’”
This ideology rejects biology and tradition, promoting vague notions of identity that often rely on rigid sex stereotypes that feminists have rejected for decades.
Jay Richards, director of Heritage’s DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family, and Daniel Buck, senior visiting fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, analyzed the state-level education frameworks of all 50 states.
Richards and Buck asked whether the frameworks “encourage a distinction between sex or sex organs, and gender, the latter of which is undefined or treated as a social construct?” The analysts also asked whether the policies promote the notion that sex is merely “assigned at birth” and whether they use terms such as “cisgender,” “transgender,” and “nonbinary.”
These tell-tale signs reveal the promotion of gender ideology, which not only contradicts basic biology and tradition but also poses a real danger to impressionable children.
By telling little boys that they may really be girls, schools prime them for experimental medical interventions that leave kids stunted, scarred, and infertile. The fact that medical societies endorse these interventions—despite the lack of evidence that they improve children’s lives and in the face of evidence that they carry severe side effects, such as the risk of cancer in teens—is a scandal of epic proportions.
Even simply teaching children that “gender identity” may be different from biological sex carries the risk of setting kids on a destructive path. These lessons are rightly controversial, and parents should be able to remove their children from any such indoctrination.
Below is a list of states and the specific state policy requiring each to teach gender ideology.

There are only two real genders, Male and Female. You are one or the other, nothing else. If your body genetics is XX you are a female. If your mind disagrees with your body then your mind needs to be healed. If your genetics is XY then you are male. If your mind disagrees then your mind needs to be healed. There are a few people born with genetic disorders such as XXY and XYY but these aren’t who or what the woke people are talking about.
If only math, sciences and English were pushed with such vigor, our kids would not be at the bottom in comparison to the rest of the world.
It appears that leadership in these states are just as confused as the toxic ideology they’re pushing. They have no business indoctrinating children.
There are of course, only two genders – male, female. This is rooted in DNA and manifested genetically and biologically. There is no possible means to alter one’s sex/gender.
Social norms are society’s expectations or “standards” for how males and females will dress, what activities they should (or are allowed to) engage in, types of mannerisms that are considered acceptable, what types of jobs they’re expected to hold, etc. Over the many years and various societies of history, there have been many changes and even reversals in sex/gender related “social norms” – including who wore the dresses and who wore the pants.
It’s not uncommon for people to not like or agree with social norms for males vs females. Commonly, when a girl liked playing with soldiers, instead of dolls, or preferred climbing trees to holding tea parties – she was labeled a “tomboy”. She was obviously still a female but she preferred acting out the social norms usually set for males. Similarly when a boy preferred cooking to playing cowboys and indians, or knitting himself a pair of mittens instead of pretend battle with GI Joe, he was labeled a “momma’s boy”. or derided as a “sissy”. There’s nothing sinister about this, they’re not boys becoming girls or girls becoming boys, and it doesn’t mean they’re “the wrong sex/gender”.
There is no possibility at all of someone being “trans” gendered. You can’t change DNA with an assertion, or a declared pronoun, with makeup and dress, not even with medical and surgical procedures. That all just amounts to “transvestism”, i.e. wearing the apparel society deems normal for the other gender instead of your own.
It is outright abuse – psychological, physical, and sexual – to feed children the fantasy of “trans gender” and to use pharmaceutic and medical means to attempt to force the body to behave contrary to its DNA based design.

I finished educating our children from home 13 years ago. We went all the way through high school. They both received scholarships based on merit and went to college. If there is ever a reason to home school your children, this is it. The deplorable education today’s student’s are receiving will be with us for years, and the disgusting morals being taught will affect generations.
I’m for the death penalty for every idiot who had a part in the cruelty that has been done to children. Only devil possessed idiots could ever think of such a thing. These poor kids will never get back what they have lost.

For any state in this country to force “transgender” education on the children of its citizens is despicable. It goes against the “laws of nature”. What is even worse, are the so-called “institutions of higher learning” that have become nothing more than recruitment stations for influencing impressionable young college students, who are still suffering from “growing pains” and on their own for the first time. These young people want desperately to “fit in” and are easily persuaded that what they’re actually feeling is due to them being born in the wrong body. One such institution is Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Not only do they vigorously support the transition of “confused” students, they actually pay for all the transitioning medical therapies and surgeries and convince the students that “if they don’t hurry and transition as fast as they can, they will be prevented from doing so when Trump is inaugurated and does away with such treatments. I know this because I am related to a Dartmouth student who has been pressured into such treatments.
I can’t believe that Wyoming is a part of the false crap being spread by America haters. I will contacting all government agencies in our state to get this filth removed from Wyoming or there will be HELL to pay!!!!!

I live in the sick state where chitcago rules and not surprised that Illinois and kalifornia are on the list,but some other states surprise me.Hopefully Illinois will recover.Chitcago democ rats have corrupted and ruined Illinois,most of the people in the rest of the state are almost normal.Voting out pritzger and keeping behind the scenes madigan out of the loop would help.These two are like biden and nonobamba,madigan and nonobamba,fully involved !!!!!!!!!!
I live in, and used to teach in, WA state, but on the more conservative east side of the state. It’s a crime that all teachers have to follow the guidelines regardless of their beliefs. Maybe they can find a way around it, or fudge a bit.

Not surprised to see Minnesota and Wisconsin on the list with dimwit walz and the witch witmer as governor. How can the voters of these two states be so stupid to re-elect these pure evil liberal pukes???
Until a male creature, human or otherwise, can remove EVERY ‘Y’ chromosome from every living cell of his body, he will always, and forevermore, be a male creature/human, period!
And the same goes for female creatures and humans in reverse. Until a female can insert a ‘Y’ chromosome into every living cell of her body, she will always, and forevermore, be a female, period!
You can add or subtract as many body parts as you desire, infuse hormones by the gallon, wear make-up, change hair or clothing styles or declare your orientation until the stars fall from the sky and you will still NEVER be the opposite of what biology determined you were going to be within days after you were conceived. Sex is not ‘assigned’ at birth. It is immutable and was determined by nature, not man, months before exiting a womb or even by the time it leaves a Petri dish for artificial insemination.
Biology dictates that any creature with ‘Y’ chromosomes in every cell of its body will be a male of its species and every creature that contains only ‘X’ chromosomes in every cell of its body will be a female of that species.

First and foremost, thank you for writing and publishing this article. What is wrong with some USA citizens? Let people live their lives! With children – there should be NO “change of gender”. Just like schools “dumbing down” curriculums so the majority (or all) school age children pass with better grades; make school children live UP to their full potential while in school. Make them work hard for better grades and they will feel good about themselves because they were able to do better with their school classes. The powers that be in schools in the listed states should NOT give in to pressures like trans-gender changes. When children are old enough to decide FOR THEMSELVES school administrators, etc., should force children to change their identity until they are of an age to make their own wise decisions. I have read many articles of children who have undergone surgeries, just to regret it later. Children do need to learn THE TRUTH about why goes on in the world but NO ONE should force children to change until they are ready, if ever. Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion. We all deserve to be heard. “Think before you act” is an excellent saying.
