AMAC Exclusive – By Aaron Flanigan

Chalkboard-Republican

Without any notable successes to run on or any discernable plan for solving the many crises the nation is now facing, it seems that Joe Biden is betting his re-election campaign on the “democracy” narrative—or the claim that Donald Trump, the America First movement, and Republican voters pose an existential threat to the survival of American democracy.

“That’s why I’m running. I’m running because democracy is at stake,” Biden said at a fundraiser last September. During another speech in January, Biden again insisted “democracy” is “the central cause of [his] presidency.” Following Trump’s runaway primary victories in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary, the Biden campaign also claimed Trump was seeking to “undermine American democracy,” whereas Biden will “strengthen our democracy.”

But ample evidence suggests that the “democracy” issue might not be the political winner team Biden thinks it is.

Many in the corporate media and the Democrat consultant class have chalked up Democrats’ better-than-expected 2022 midterm cycle to backlash over the Dobbs Supreme Court decision and liberal candidates hammering the “democracy” issue.

Even if that analysis is accurate (and ample evidence suggests that it’s not), Republicans are now beginning to turn the democracy issue back on Democrats, leading a number of political pundits, including even some leftists and corporate media operatives, to acknowledge that it may not be the political dynamite they once thought it could be.

Among the most notable criticisms of the left’s “democracy” push came from Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase. “I wish the Democrats would think a little more carefully when they talk about MAGA,” he recently stated, referring to how the left has branded every Trump supporter as a threat to democracy.

“I think this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden’s election campaign,” Dimon continued, before acknowledging some of the Trump administration’s major policy victories. “Take a step back, be honest. He was kind of right about NATO, kind of right on immigration. He grew the economy quite well. Trade tax reform worked. He was right about some of China.”

Dimon’s concerns were echoed by former Obama advisor David Axelrod, who warned that the left’s attempts to keep Trump off the 2024 ballot “would rip the country apart.” As Axelrod underscored, it is Democrats, not Republicans, who are threatening “democratic norms” by trying to either imprison their top political rival or bury him in lawsuits to keep him off the campaign trail.

A recent Time story also contended that the Biden campaign “must be about more than Trump.” Even Trump-hating Senator Mitt Romney—who for years has bolstered many of the left’s lies about the former president and indicated he would support Biden over Trump this November—dismissed the Biden “democracy” narrative as a political loser. “As a Biden campaign theme, I think the threat to democracy pitch is a bust,” he said. “Biden needs fresh material, a new attack, rather than kicking a dead political horse.”

Perhaps most jarringly, Nancy Pelosi openly suggested that Biden’s “democracy” strategy will be electorally insufficient this fall. “We have to relate democracy to the kitchen table, to our people’s personal lives,” she said. “The kitchen table issues are our motivation and our mobilization to get the job done, win the election.”

In other words, Pelosi is suggesting that voters are not buying Biden’s “democracy” pitch, and more will ultimately be needed if he is serious about winning a second term in the White House.

Donald Trump himself has also highlighted the futility of the left’s “democracy” narrative. “Biden and his radical left allies like to pose as standing up as allies of democracy,” he told supporters in a December speech. “Joe Biden is not the defender of American democracy, Joe Biden is the destroyer of American democracy.”

It’s no secret why voters are not convinced. For more than three years, the American people have stood by and watched as the same people branding themselves as “defenders of democracy” have worked in plain sight to imprison their leading political opponent, censor dissenting views on social media, label patriotic parents as domestic terrorists, deprive states of their right to manage their own elections, open our southern border, persecute Christians and pro-life activists, and use partisan legal prosecutions to keep Trump off the ballot and destroy his family’s business.

Conservative scholar Victor Davis Hanson summed up the Democrats’ 2024 playbook with the following slogan: “We had to destroy democracy to save it.” The left, he continued in a January American Greatness essay, is “tearing apart the country in a manner not seen since the Civil War era—apparently convinced democracy cannot be trusted and so itself must be sacrificed as the price of destroying Donald Trump.”

Though most Democrats lack the self-awareness to recognize it, it is them—not conservatives, Republicans, or Trump supporters—who are the greatest threat to American democracy. Voters are increasingly coming to terms with this reality.

On November 5, it is the American democratic process which could deal the final blow to the left’s hypocritical “democracy” narrative.

Actually, democracy is unlimited, unrestricted majority rule. In a democracy, the majority can override the rights of the minority by simple majority vote. Republicanism, by contrast, is individual, ordered liberty under legally-limited government, with the rights of both the majority AND the minority protected by rule of law. The founders publicly repudiated democracy, and the Constitution says nothing at all about democracy. Instead, Article IV, Section 4 requires that we be guaranteed a REPUBLICAN (small “r”) form of government. The United States of America is a republic, not a democracy.

The founding fathers did not give us a democracy, they gave us a republic. I wish people could get that through their thick heads. Our republic does have a few democratic features such as we vote for our representatives. The more we become like a democracy the weaker we become.

If the Democrats idea of democracy is muzzling your political opponents, tying them up in court, attempting to jail them, and not allowing them to speak in court, Manufacturing false narratives about Russian collusion, killing babies, allowing men to participate in women’s sports and use women’s dressing rooms, taking payoffs from foreign governments and appeasing our enemies instead of defeating them, yes Republicans are against that. As you read this how about you do you support that or oppose it? Just asking . . .

The Democrat Party attempts to censor people opposed to them on social media, to politically target their political opponents using government law enforcement agencies and lawfare, to compel their mainstream media hounds to lie to the American people, and to cheat in the elections. Then they still have the nerve to talk about Democracy?
The Democrat Party has surpassed the mendacity of even third-world countries.

Even though traditional Democrats were more into centralized government than Republicans, still both sides believed in the importance of individual rights. However, both Obama and Biden have shredded the individual rights and liberties of Americans to the point that most Democrat leaders are Marxist fascists. Most Democrat leaders stick together through thick and thin and allow the far left to call the shots. The far left is anti nuclear family, anti meritocracy, anti personal freedom, anti local government, and anti strong borders. In other words, the Marxist Democrats are anti American.

A democracy is by definition allowing the people to select who they want to represent them, not the courts! No need to say more!

EDUCATION IS FREEDOM!
If truth is in action, and I surely believe that it is, then Bidens use of the term ‘democracy’ matches in action #6 of the Ten Communist Rules for Revolution – “Always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.”
Enemies of the CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC are obviously patient! In May 1919 at Dusseldorf, Germany, the allied forces obtained a copy of the Ten Communist Rules for Revolution.
THANK YOU AMAC FOR PUBLISHING THIS VALUABLE INFO!

Well well it must be election time. Even P goes against her party and ole Joe. Don’t be fooled it is all a stance to get the dems and ole Joe elected. Don’t believe the dems they have lied for years. Trump was a succes as president. For America and it’s people. And ole Joe is a failure. Not only here but abroad except in the Ukraine. He should be running for president there. Only he has run that country into total ruin with that proxy war. Russia is prosperous only ole Joe doesn’t see it. Democracy under ole Joe has disappeared and the only one to blame for that is him. What is a democrat? One that takes everything from you, except your job.

Democrats “over-played their hands” the moment their core platform mirrored those of the Unabomber. I mean, go back and read it. If Kazinzky had come out for abortion until the time of birth, he’d be a solid Squad member.

The American Citizens DO feel that democracy is under assault BUT they ARE smart enough to see that joebama and the marxist democrat party are FULLY responsible!!!
This latest LIE by democrats assumes that they can lie, cheat and pretend that Citizens don’t understand or can’t comprehend their failure and destruction of EVERYTHING while in office.

Conservative Constitutional citizens don’t buy Democrats vision of the 1963 (LBJ) and Swamp Crime Syndicate vision for eliminating the USA CONSTITUTION. The CIA, FBI, LBJ, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, JEH in the tragic events (murders, assignations, high taxation, interest rates, inflation, riots) failed the economic limited population.
THE GREAT SOCIETY/ Communism has failed with in (8) decades everywhere it has become established. It will fail in the USA.
Communism only allows criminals, corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, educators and RINOS to survive and prosper.
Democrats anti- constitutional agenda will lead to death, disruption of society networks of distribution; and the general public who are classified as non-ruling citizens.

The Demoncraps continue to misdirect the ignorant sheeple about our form of government. The United States of America is a Republic of the states though similar in some respects we are a far more fair form of government closer to giving every citizen a voice rather than a minority be damned democracy.

I’m sure many Americans just do not think about the evidence they see, instead believing the words they hear. But I am hopeful that they are not a majority of voters. The rest of us deserve better.

When someone in Congress says such-and-such is a “threat to our democracy” they are talking about the majority rule of the swamp creatures inside the beltway who always seem to be trying to circumvent the Constitution. They hate that piece of parchment and they hate any person or institution that will hold their feet to the fire to make them abide by the Constitution. They don’t want a Republic, because then they can’t get away with many of the things they are trying to make us think they have the power to do.

New EPA Regulations that just went into effect that will KILL over 1 Million jobs and STOP ALL BUILDING of New Manufacturing Facilities in the United States.
Pure Fascism and Anti-American. Dictator Beijing biden completing what obama did by eliminating U.S. manufacturing jobs and facilities till President Trump brought them back to the United States.
This move is intentional to make us rely totally on Communist China by giving them more aid and comfort and more money to fund their military by putting America LAST again.
This is intentional espionage and treason.

They’re not just overplaying their hand, they’re lying through their teeth. This is not a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic.
To refer to it as anything other than a Constitutional Republic is disingenuous at minimum, and outright treasonous when acted against.

Dems aren’t overplaying their hand on anything because they know they will win this election because it’ll once again be rigged, and they know they can get away with it. Why not rig it when they got away with everyone from 2020 through this past November. As long as the Rhino republicans continue to support the democrats bills and continue to refuse to support Trump, the democrats will continue their control of the white house.

“Democracy” is the all-inclusive word. “Rule of the people.” Which people? Democrats, dominated, overwhelmingly, by liberals, in flagrant violation of common sense, any recognition or appreciation for the constitutional purposes of “1. to ensure domestic tranquility, 2. to provide for the common defense, 3. to promote the general welfare, 4. to secure the blessings of life (and liberty) for ourselves and our posterity,” violate the propriety of representation of the citizenry by encouraging a constituting of the population by illegal aliens which undermines the security of all. Ceding the country by sham representation of alienated, foreign perspectives which cause expenses for, and crime against, citizen taxpayers. Democrats resist, persistently, any effort to ensure citizen-voter identification and the absolute integrity of elections through enforcement of equal process with respect to elections. They do this to further the notion that the rule of law is the choice of the individual, the power of the majority of those of disparate choices is “the rule of law.” It is laughable, but it is injurious, and there is no legal recourse and the compensation for the injury is inadequate to the loss. Democrats have turned this proper representation against the citizens of the United States who protested, violently, this travesty of justice on January 6, 2021. People are unjustly imprisoned due to this alienation of representation.
So, democrats may have a monopoly on “democracy,” but they could not define it to secure themselves. What they are sure of, is that democracy does not include citizen-voter, republicans or conservatives.

  1. Good article, definitely telling the truth, it is the now Communist-run Democrat party, the Traitor party if you will, that’s destroying any semblance of democracy. But I take issue with his saying, He (Trump) was kind of right about NATO, kind of right on immigration. He grew the economy quite well. Trade tax reform worked. He was right about some of China.” No, Trump was totally right about NATO, and China, too. If we have a shot at keeping our Constitutional Republic and going back to actually following democracy, then every single person wanting freedoms and opportunities and a return to sanity, must vote in person for Donald J. Trump, for the tsunami/landslide/mother of all vote count wins, that no amount of D cheating can defeat. After an anti-Republic, Communist-to-the-core POTUS (that tried his damnedest to “fundamentally transform” our country by destroying much that was good), President Trump proved his MAGA campaign promise to Make America Great Again (after the Obama disaster, currently the JoeBama disaster), and yes, Trump can do it again!

The Dems are good when it comes to fabricating talking points because they know there is lots of deception from them, the media, big tech to spread their lies. They are not about democracy, but they are best suited to persecute their counterparts who genuinely want the best for America. Hopefully, citizens are awakening from their stupor and ascertaining the success of a true election instead of allowing non-citizens to vote. Right now, a non-citizen of Chinese origin is sitting on the election board. That is outrageous.

I think what they are doing to President Trump is such a disrespect for a former president and shows what Dems are all about do anything to win and keep in power the White House even if it is keeping Mr.Forgetful as a so called puppet president. I think that Obama is running this country that can’t trust Joe. It is sad what this country has become close if not like a third world country look at the courts just plain corruption that is New York and Atlanta both blue run states lie after lie about President Trump and his family he should rent his building in New York or sell it and never go back to New York to do business. I hope more business leave New York.

I think Biden is one of, if not, the biggest communist in the country. In my opinion the whole democrat party is communist. They borrow money we can not pay back They are trying to bankrupt the country. I am not a republican or a democrat. I always vote for the person I think will support my ideals, regardless of party affiliation. At this time, neither, candidate would get my vote. Both candidates are too radical.
