New polling from Rasmussen Reports shows that 50 percent of Americans now believe the United States is on the right track – a historic high.
Rasmussen pollster Mark Mitchell stated that the results were significant because this was the first time in the company’s “polling history A MAJORITY says the country is on the right track.” Rasmussen first began tracking whether Americans believed the country was on the wrong track or the right track in 2006.
“Never thought I would see it,” Mitchell stated, according to the Washington Examiner. “I don’t think the Republican Party understands the gravity of the gift which Trump has given them. Unprecedented presidency.”
Rasmussen isn’t the only polling agency that shows rising optimism in the direction of the country. The RealClearPolitics average also shows that 44 percent of Americans now believe the country is on the right track – the highest since 2009.
In comparison, only 28 percent of Americans believed America was on the right track at the end of Joe Biden’s presidency, with 62 percent saying the country was on the wrong track.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also commented on the news. “There is good news today. Consumer confidence hits a record high, and also the highly respected pollster Matt Rasmussen showed that a majority of Americans view our country as heading on the right track under President Trump,” Leavitt said. “This is a stark contrast to what that same polling showed under the previous disastrous administration led by Joe Biden.”
On the right track/wrong track question, Trump is significantly ahead of where he was at the same point in time in his first term. On May 29, 2017, 34 percent of Americans believed the U.S. was on the right track compared to 58 percent who believed the country was on the wrong track.
More polling from Rasmussen also showed that Trump had a 52 percent approval rating on Tuesday. This is Trump’s best performance in the Rasmussen poll in two weeks. InsiderAdvantage additionally released polling Monday showing that Trump had a 60 percent approval rating among Hispanics, appearing to further confirm other reports that Hispanics are flocking to the Republican Party in record numbers.
Trump’s overall approval rating is also on the rise, according to RealClearPolitics. His average approval rating is currently 48 percent compared to 45 percent a month ago.
This polling stands in stark contrast to the corporate media’s narrative that Trump is out of step with the American public. Time and again, legacy outlets have painted Trump as a fringe figure, yet the data tell a different story – one of enduring appeal and growing support across key demographics.
As much as pundits may try to wish it away, public opinion is shifting. These numbers are a clear reminder that conventional media narratives often miss the mark and that voters, not headlines, will shape the future of American politics.

”Out of touch” describes the Democrats and the American mainstream press. My guess is that the press can’t find most of America. We are led by a man with a strong mind and healthy body, unlike his predecessor! He does everything out in the open; no hiding in the basement or put under wraps by his handlers. . They’ve been in power for almost 40 years and are right now trying to add 20 new tax hikes this year. I sure hope they fail. The largest private employer in Oregon located in Portland, a Democrat stronghold, is leaving the city. Also, two property owners in Portland have effectively announced almost $1billion in losses this month.

I believe the percentage is actually higher, as most people are never polled. We still have instances of morbid debt among otherwise solvent citizens, due to the prior economy. I am really delighted with President Trump, but I sure need to hear of investigation and prosecution of the “HANDLERS” of Biden. We never voted for Hunter or Jill or anyone in Biden’s cabinet.

I just don’t see all of the optimism. I want to see it, but I don’t. The support that the left still has is way too high. The media constantly lies and too many people still believe them. The education system is as corrupt as the media. A lot of good things happening that aren’t getting the attention they deserve. It’s all part of the swamp and it isn’t getting drained. Too many communists, too many rhinos. Trump is temporary, communism is not. The only way to fix a problem is at the source; I don’t see it happening. Too much power, too much money. Scary stuff.
The tariffs are headed in the wrong direction & will hurt the lower class and United States in the long run. My worry is that Trump has given China the opportunity to make trade deals with some of the countries that do not agree with the Trump tariffs against them. For example Trump told Canada we do not want anything from them anyway, and that shows how ignorant Trump and his advisors are of our trade with Canada. As long as Trump is in office, i do not see it possible to mend fences with our Northern neighbor.
