House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer declared Wednesday night that House Republicans have enough votes to hold former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress after they failed to comply with subpoenas demanding their testimonies.
The subpoenas are for the Clintons’ testimonies in an investigation regarding the late convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was an acquaintance of the former president and other powerful men. The pair have not been accused of any wrongdoing.
The House Oversight Committee is expected to formally vote on the charges next week, and Comer told Just the News there are enough votes to approve the contempt charges in both the committee and on the House floor.
“We’ve always had the votes in committee, but I’m confident to report now that we’ve got the votes on the floor,” Comer said on “Just The News, No Noise” TV show. “I think the American people have spoken loud and clear.
“They want to know the truth about Epstein and Bill Clinton spent as much time with Jeffrey Epstein as any other high-profile person who’s been named in this whole investigation,” he added. “So the American people expect Bill Clinton to show up for a subpoena, and I think the Republicans are going to vote, and we might even get a few Democrat votes to hold the Clintons in contempt.”
The Clintons were originally subpoenaed last year, and scheduled to appear in October, but that was later pushed to December because of their attendance at a funeral. Comer said at the time that the Clintons’ lawyers did not provide alternative dates, so he rescheduled their depositions for mid-January.
The Clintons said in a letter posted on X on Tuesday that they do not plan to appear for their scheduled depositions this week. Bill Clinton was expected to testify Tuesday and Hillary Clinton was scheduled to testify Wednesday.
“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences,” the Clintons wrote. “For us, now is that time.”

They are the epitome of unethical and immoral yet have never been accountable for any of their crimes and treasonous/treacherous activities. And Hillary is quick to open her mouth and spew garbage to keep herself in the spotlight as if she were still of any importance. Take them down; they deserve it!
What vote? Didn’t Bannon and Navarro go to jail for same thing? It’s way past time Clinton’s went to jail. Prove to us that they ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW.
They are only a part of the set untouchable by the law. It would seem they and all like them can do no wrong no matter how hard they try, who is afraid of them, they are mortal, not gods as they would like us to think, lying, cheating, deceiving , contemptable, nothing to be admired for.
They are no better than the ordinary people of this country! They they should have had to appear on the first time! If it was an ordinary citizen they would have been arrested the government would not have rescheduled the hearings!!

The Clinton’s and their cronies have been living outside of the law for so long that they think they are entitled! Hillary got away with one crime already by destroying secret emails and a server by hacking bleaching and burning her phone to cover up this secret server. With the help of the former FBI director Comey she got away with it. Not this time. They have been screaming about Trump and Epstein while nothing was there. The Clinton’s are hiding behind the Trump Derangement Syndrome to get away with lies and a crime against the United States. I say arrest them. Now.
Bill and Hillary deserve some time behind bars. Hillary thumbed her nose at the law and smashed her phones and computers to avoid evidence being uncovered. . Bill had affairs with just about anything in a skirt. The American people deserve to know about their involvement.

I’m still wondering why she was never arrested and sent to prison for having her computer scrubbed when it had been required as evidence? That is the absolute definition of “tampering with evidence” and she had the audacity to sit there, rolling her eyes, and acting “bored” during her questioning. She caused Americans to die, without available help being sent to Benghazi. If you read Wiki, it claims she was never found to have known about the requests for help in Banghazi. She is also the only person not recommended for advancement after the Nixon Watergate investigation. There have been claims of unethical actions during the Nixon investigation but of course, internet searches today make claims that those allegations were unfounded or were never made. Former presidents and their immediate families never go to prison or jail because that would require that Secret Service people would have to guard them while in custody. Whatever their crimes, they are mostly exempt from the penalties.
