What shapes your worldview?
We all have one. The PEERS Test is a free, confidential worldview assessment — offered to AMAC members by the Nehemiah Institute — that helps you examine the ideas behind what you believe.

Everyone has a worldview — most of us have never examined ours.
Whether we realize it or not, each of us carries a set of beliefs and assumptions that shapes how we understand the world — the way we think about government, education, economics, faith, family, culture, and the most important questions facing our country.
But how often do we stop and examine those beliefs for ourselves?
Five areas that shape how you see the world
PEERS stands for Politics, Economics, Education, Religion, and Social Issues. Rather than asking where you stand on a handful of current issues, it draws a broader picture of the worldview influencing those positions.
Government, law and the role of the state.
Work, property and how we steward resources.
How knowledge and values are formed and passed on.
Faith, truth and the questions of ultimate meaning.
Family, culture and life in community.
PEERS usage since its inception in 1988
Ideas have consequences
The beliefs we hold about human nature, morality, freedom, government, education, economics, and faith ultimately influence the decisions we make as individuals, families, communities, and a nation.
“Take every thought captive to obey Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5
For Christians, examining those ideas also carries a spiritual dimension. In Colossians 2:8, Paul warns believers to be careful about the philosophies and ideas that can shape their thinking.
An assessment cannot tell you what to believe. It can, however, help you identify the principles already influencing your thinking — and perhaps reveal areas worthy of further reflection.
Free, and simple to start
The PEERS Test is available to AMAC members at no cost. Here’s all it takes:
- 1 Go to worldviewcheckup.org
Open the assessment site to begin.
- 2 Choose “Individual Testing”
Select the individual path when prompted.
- 3 Enter Project Code AMAC26
This marks your participation as part of the AMAC initiative.
- 4 Complete it and review your results
Work through the questions, then see what they reveal.
Individual results are confidential. AMAC leadership can review only summary information from participating members — broader worldview trends and aggregate insights across demographics such as age range, gender and education level — helping to shape future content.
Find out what shapes your worldview
We spend a great deal of time thinking about what we believe. Sometimes it’s just as valuable to ask why — and whether the principles behind our beliefs are consistent.
