The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) invites members and fellow seniors to join a free live webinar, Traveling in Retirement: How to Go Far and Stay Safe,” taking place on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. EST. This event is designed to help retirees and soon-to-be retirees plan memorable travel experiences that are both enjoyable and secure.

Retirement opens the door to new adventures, from long-awaited bucket-list trips to quick weekend escapes. This webinar, presented in partnership with Inspiration Travel, will provide expert guidance on navigating the unique opportunities and challenges of travel during retirement. Topics will include essential safety practices, budgeting strategies, packing tips, and ways to make travel easier and more rewarding.

Guest speaker: Joel James, President of Inspiration Cruise Lines, will share practical travel insights drawn from years of experience in the travel industry and highlight ways to maximize comfort and confidence on the road. “Retirement is the perfect time to see the world, but it’s also important to travel smart,” said James. “With the right planning, retirees can enjoy incredible destinations, protect their health and finances, and travel with confidence. This event is about helping people go farther, stay safer, and genuinely enjoy the freedom they’ve earned.”

Participants will also receive an exclusive preview of AMAC’s upcoming Alaska Cruise with Inspiration Travel — an opportunity to explore one of America’s most breathtaking regions alongside fellow members and travel enthusiasts and celebrate America’s 250th birthday with Kevin Sorbo, Sam Sorbo, and John Solomon!

The webinar is open to all — whether you’re just starting to think about travel or planning your next journey. Registration is free, but space is limited.
