The House of Representatives has officially passed President Donald Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” (OBBB), sending the sweeping legislation to the White House for his signature just in time for Independence Day.

This marks the end of a major legislative push led by President Trump, congressional Republicans, and key grassroots allies – including AMAC Action. Within hours of the bill returning to the House, AMAC members flooded their representatives with thousands of messages urging swift passage of the OBBB. The outpouring of support helped cement final momentum in the critical moments leading up to the vote.

In total, AMAC members sent nearly 40,000 messages to Congress urging passage of the bill. Last week, two AMAC members, Teresa Thompson of New Jersey and Pam Furrie of Arizona, were also in attendance at a White House event rallying support for the bill. They stood on stage behind President Trump as he shared stories about how Americans from all walks of life will benefit from the OBBB.

“Passage of this bill constitutes a major victory for the American people and builds on President Trump’s record of delivering historic tax relief and investment in American workers,” said AMAC CEO Rebecca Weber. “This bill fulfills on President Trump’s key campaign promises and begins restoring our government as a body that works first and foremost for the benefit of the American people. AMAC members overwhelmingly made their voices heard in support of this legislation, and once again their representatives in Congress listened.”

“Republicans in Congress have succeeded in our mission to enact President Trump‘s America first agenda,” Speaker Mike Johnson said in a statement. “And importantly, we did it in record time so that effects of this nation-shaping legislation can be felt by the American people as soon as possible.”

The final version passed by the House reflects the package that cleared the Senate last week following a dramatic 51-50 vote. That bill slashes over $1.5 trillion in federal spending and delivers on cornerstone promises from President Trump’s campaign – chief among them eliminating taxes on overtime pay and tips, and enacting a $4,000 tax deduction for Americans over age 65.

Passage of the OBBB is a major victory for the conservative movement and a significant milestone for the Trump administration.

From the start, AMAC Action has worked side-by-side with Republican lawmakers to promote this legislation, including during the organization’s annual fly-in, which brought AMAC delegates face-to-face with key decision-makers in Congress.

Now that the bill has passed both chambers, it heads to President Trump’s desk for signature. AMAC Action will continue to keep members informed and engaged as the OBBB becomes law – delivering long-awaited relief for American seniors, workers, and taxpayers across the nation.

There’s a lot to hate about this bill, but it needed to pass. Congress needs to pass one law at a time – omnibus bills are just a way for congress to avoid doing its job.

Yes, so thankful that this bill has passed. The Demoncrats tried their best to derail the MEGA movement. I praise God for the chance for America to return to God in this kind of environment. But, it’s a must that we as a people and nation return to HIM!!

So, after all the hoopla, games, political shuffling and back room dealing, a giant bill is passed. It’s an important bill, certainly. It’s a milestone of the times, be assured. But, as with every kind of action on the part of congress, it’s peppered with pork. Why our leaders cannot just ply a simple straightforward bill that addresses issues, offers solutions and brings about consensus for the betterment of America is beyond my comprehension. Of course, I don’t “understand” how the process works…..or don’t I? It works badly. It works by hook and crook. It works outside expediency for the good of the country. It works, not because every (or most everyone) understands America is in trouble and dire action is needed, but it works because, in spite of the need, somehow accomplishment happens. For me, on this Forth of July, it has worked for one reason….the grace of God. We are fast approaching our 250th year as a nation, and for two and a half centuries, God’s grace has prevailed…in spite of we failed humans. We dare not take much credit for these outcomes, knowing our poor capacity and lack of sincere desire to preserve the Republic. It has been God all along the way….pray, fellow citizens, that God will still walk with us in the days to come, regardless of our leadership and the idiocy that seems to be at the heart of our feeble doings. Pray, friends….the need is great. Thank God, first. And when you get the chance, get a copy of this massive political tome, read it, study it and see just what it really comes down to…don’t listen to the nay-sayers and liars….don’t be misled or cheated of the truth. It a messy bill, but still worth it’s effort.

While I support President Trump on nearly everything he does, the one thing in the BBB that will be a disaster is the ban on states restricting AI for 10 years, if AI isn’t limited by law millions of people will be out of work and starving on the streets! You can already see it happening with self checkouts, self driving taxis, self driving trucks, AI farm and road construction equipment, even fri cooks and servers in restaurants! And you think because you have a degree you are safe? No, they have AI teachers, doctors, dentists, lawyers and every other profession you can name! People must be allowed to earn a living! AI MUST BE LIMITED BY LAW!

The passage of the Budget bill is the most important piece of legislation ever. The democrats talked and talked to justify their lies and opposition. If this bill was sooo bad where were their plans, they didn’t have none, they just wanted Trump to fail. Only the improvement to Medicaid in this bill will be going to those that are in need and root out those able to work or volunteer or get an education to work their way out of assistance. Responsibility for living is the responsibility of every human being not the government. Assisting those in need is a given, it is those people who take advantage, including illegal aliens, has to be rooted out. Because the government are the taxpayers of America. No one will die. And where was the dems plan how to solve the high cost of Medicaid, they had none.
The democrats are playing the what if game. Why don’t the democrats see how it plays out instead of telling lies. You think the reps are sooo dumb that they would let millions of people die? All this gloom and doom we had for the past 4 years was created by the dems and see what president Trump has done so far. Don’t believe the doomsayers they have no plans for America.

The bill is like all the other “conglomeration” of Congress’s bills. With so much in one bill, no one is going to be happy. As always with compromise, you take the good with the bad. All in all, I think it needed to be passed if for nothing else but the tax cuts and not allowing Trump’s tax cuts to expire. I also like that people on the dole need to be scrutinized and kicked off is they are cheating. Of course the Dems hate that because that is where they get voters because the Dems keep them on the dole and increase it just to get votes.

Mr. super deficit hawk Chip Roy folded like a wet blanket. He’ll return when there’s a Dem in the White House. Anyone want to join the America Party? The overwhelming majority of posters on this site loved Elon until he disagreed with Trump.

My greatest gratitude to congressman Massie for staying true to our beloved U.S. Constitution. He went into this vote with a lifetime Freedom Index score of 99%. He just bumped it up a little more with his courageous NO vote. Fitzgerald (76) from WI came right alongside him.

So my question is, now that we got the “big beautiful bill” (“BBB”), can we now get small simple understandable common sense bills (“SSUCS”) to fix whatever is problematic with the BBB, deal with one issue at a time, and stop making those gigantic omnibus bills that undermine the legislative process??

I am a RINO & I am very disappointed that Trump, Vance, & AMAC have such strong support for this BBB. Why do you support any bill that increases our National Debt? The USA cannot continue to increase this debt & if the value of our dollar drops so that it is not the safest currency in the world, what do you think will happen to the greatest country in the world in the 1950-60s?

Just for the one: a permanent reduction in income tax rates across the board

Not true. The bill limits the cuts to 10 years. You will be lucky to get 5.

Had AMAC reported what was in this bill, the members would not have supported it. I certainly did not. And to prove it, Mike Johnson has already admitted there are issues and they will have to be addressed later and be fixed. So Congress passed a bill they knew was not good and would require fixing just to give Trump his little victory on July 4. How stupid! No wonder nothing ever gets resolved. You can’t keep doing and re-doing the same legislation. Get it right the first time.

Trump promised to cut military spending and now he’s boosted it to record levels, while gutting health care for our most vulnerable. He doesn’t even know what’s in the bill he signed. Not because of his rotted brain; he just doesn’t care to know. And you’re all here giving him sloppy reacharounds.
