AMAC Magazine Exclusive – By: Jeff Szymanski

“Woke, broke, and complicated.” That’s how The Economist magazine described this newest and somewhat mysterious generation in January 2023. Who is Gen Z, as they’re called, and what are they about? Gen Zers were born from 1997 to 2012. They’re currently aged 11-26. This cohort, also called zoomers, post-Millennials, or the iGeneration, follows millennials (1981-1996), Generation X (1965-1980), and Baby Boomers (1946-1964)…

Generally, Gen Z like most other generations before it, can be described broadly in many various ways. I read the article that this synopsis links to and in very broad terms, it is mostly accurate. Although the article is far from being all inclusive as to why so many members of Gen Z seems to have these traits.

Some members of Gen Z are actually quite intelligent and well grounded, while others are literally one step above what would be described as babbling, neurotic, fragile personalities on the verge of a nervous breakdown. So it really varies by the individual and how they were brought up by their parents and how they were educated. Gee, what a shock there…NOT! Like in any previous generation, what you get out is what you put in during their formative years.

The short attention span is pretty accurate for a large percentage of this population group, which also seems to have resulted in their lack of ability to focus on any one thing for a prolonged period of time. They either need a constant challenge or a frequent change of responsibilities to “stay motivated”. Which may partially explain why so many employers find so many in Gen Z problematic for a lot of corporate positions. We all know most corporate positions, especially at thje entry or mid level positions, can be incredibly monotonous at times. From what I’ve seen first-hand, many members of Gen Z grow either bored or frustrated rather quickly in most jobs they land once they are out of college. That also seems to explain the fascination with their cell phones. That little device in their hand nearly 24×7 is a source of constantly changing things to look at and do, which is why many in Gen Z can’t seem to put down their phones for any length of time.

None the less, for better or worse, they are America’s future. The world does not stand still for anyone. They will either have to learn to adjust to the demands of the world or the rest of the world will simply roll over them in time. The one thing most Gen Z’ers need to understand is that not only will they have to compete against each other in this country, but also against all their age equivalents around the world. On that basis, they may find more challenges than they’re used to. Time will tell.

WOKE, BROKE, and DUMB is Generation Z.
Vast majority of them have their parents supporting them and paying their bills.
The price you pay for brainwashing and Indoctrination of a generation thanks to the Dept. of DUHMACATION.
They are the result of WASTING tax payers money so they will only vote for Socialist WOKE LOSERS.
They don’t even have a clue the price they will pay for it as they get older.
All because they don’t question anything and only believe the Socialist WOKE LOSERS and STATE media.
What a WASTE of a generation.

Ok boomer, what a legend, gen z (aka Troll of Many Names)
There are thousands of job openings in Chicago. Maybe try getting one so you too can pay your “fair share” in taxes. Also, not a bad idea to learn Mandarin Chinese as was suggested to you earlier. Keep up your social credit score too – you’re gonna need it to function in your brave new Communist world. Oh, and by the way, kiss your computer goodbye because any criticism of your new masters will land you in a place most unpleasant.

Gen Z is the generation that wants to stay with there parents and never move out on their own!!!! It’s sad that Gen Z wants to sponge off their parents.

If we were to fight a military invasion today in the United States we would lose. How do you ‘feel’ now my little lambs? Where have all the backbones gone?
