Biden

Events cascade. In September 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich Accord, giving German-speaking Czechoslovakia to Germany. There were no shots fired, Germans swept in, and an appeasing Western leader bowed out and declared “peace for our time.” Not healthy, he was soon dead.

Western weakness obvious, Germany’s military ready, seeing opportunity and possessed of ideological purity, indifferent to ignominy, the Nazis – ruthless, unapologetic – took free Poland within the year.

From there, they took Europe, until – at length, owing to American resolve and friendship between Chamberlain’s successor, Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt – everything changed. A second major foe in the Far East attacked. America stood up, and from that moment, the die was cast.

Here we are again. The ideological foe is not fascism but an uneasy alliance between the world’s largest autocracy and biggest Communist nation. The immediate protagonist is a belligerent on Ukraine’s border. The long game is not just Russian-speaking Ukraine but toppling NATO, empowering China.

The cascading effect is, again, predictable. If Russia’s incipient action in Ukraine is ignored or weakly condemned, the appeasing Western leader – President Biden – will say he avoided war. At what cost? He will mutter, mumble, bluff, and events will cascade.

North of Ukraine, in NATO allies Lithuania, Latvia, and again Poland – there will be fear because the US is weak. Biden ran from Afghanistan, terrorized by Taliban shadows. The world knows it. No excuses boasts, or rhetoric can cover the shame and condemnation from American allies.

In the Far East, as in the early 1940s, a hard-bitten, militaristic, ideologically motivated adversary will take heart, seeing room to spread Communism’s shadow, grab land. What was a worry over artificial islands and Hong Kong will become appalling, direct threats on Taiwan and surrounding allies.

All this goes to one source:  A combination of profound mismanagement, ideological disarray in the Democrat Party, character weakness in the Biden White House, running from conflict. Afoot is public corruption and arrogance, ignorance of basic diplomacy and security princ9iples, ideological flirtation with socialism. On top of all that, America’s allies and adversaries see a tottering, unhealthy president.

Less than six months after Chamberlain signed the Munich Accord, he was dead. A weak leader has not the capacity to credibly confront threats like Hitler, Putin, or Xi. Not long after the post-war Yalta conference, in which sickly FDR tottered and ceded Eastern Europe to Communism, he was dead.

What does all this tell us – relevant for today? Wars are sometimes predictable and preventable. Credibility is central to the process of preventing wars, like deterring crime. Without belief that the consequence is real, without fear of a swift, meaningful call to account, the belligerents will act.

When one does, others follow. When little blowback is expected, appeasement goes straight to aggression. More nations, kinds of freedom, and humanity are sacrificed. If Biden and Democrats do not sit up, understand history’s power, danger in ignoring it, intentions of Russia and China, war will follow.

As night follows day, weakness invites aggression. As values are tested and leaders falter, equivocate, misspeak, wobble, and waver, darkness extinguishes the light. There is time to stop this ominous, approaching era of aggression, autocratic and Communist opportunism, but sand is low in the glass—events cascade.

Thanks for your thoughts in this article, RBC. It is amazing that the world does not learn from its mistakes but continues to repeat its disasters in a never ending circle.

The memory of many is so short! And it’s sad that our education system is constantly moving away from the truth of history so too many have no clue about these events. As long as humanity keeps sweeping evil under the rug, for whatever ideology is in fashion, instead of searching for truth in God, evil will constantly rear it’s ugly head! Sad that it’s the innocent that always suffer!

Several things come to mind when reading today’s news events: 1. History repeats itself, 2. The winds of war are stirring, and 3. I hope we have another “The Greatest Generation” in our country!!

As the old saying goes, Biden couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag. He’d rather hide in a dark corner and hope the monsters under his bed will go away. Liberals don’t want criminals in jail so why would they want to protect an innocent country.

Our country’s borders are fading. The pervasion of transgenderism and CRT is audaciously advancing. China’s pursuit of world hegemony is escalating. Russia’s increased aggressiveness with Ukraine is at a crescendo. Inflation is mounting with no end in sight.

Our country couldn’t have a worse president than Biden at a time like this.

It is simply too dangerous to leave Mr. Biden in office. We need to 25th Amendment him asap . He cannot see his own weakness . Mr. Biden’s candidacy , his election , and his assumption of the Office of President is an anomaly . His apparent weakness is not his fault . So, i don’t fault the man himself. The Presidency is just too important to the nation and to the world to be left in his hands .

RBC,

This was a very good article. It not only showcases for those not up on the details of world history what can go horribly wrong when there is a weak leader in place, but also what can happen when that weak leader is surrounded by equally weak or incompetent people that are not up to the challenges they face. As much as Chamberlain himself was not up the unfolding events of having to deal with Hitler and Germany, the people within Chamberlain’s administration that surrounded him were also equally not up to the task. In essence, a self-reinforcing echo chamber of weak and feckless people either unable or unwilling to see the immediate, threat directly in front of them for what it actually was. While Churchill obviously had a much better understanding of the threat Hitler posed to the world and understood the course of action necessary to take, it should be noted that Churchill was still saddled for a while with a number of Chamberlain’s people after he initially took over. So Churchill still faced quite a bit of domestic resistance from the “appeasement crowd” initially. Thankfully he was able to eventually overcome that obstacle, so the right strategies could be employed in the end.

As for the analogy between Chamberlain’s appeasement at any cost view and Biden and his administration’s mishandling of every foreign policy issue they have been faced with to date, that comes from two things:

1) Biden and the Obama era people that surround him have NO HISTORY of accomplishing anything of true, positive substance. Biden has been consistently wrong on every foreign policy decision he has ever made in his entire career in Washington. With nearly half a century of being in Washington under his belt, no one should be expecting Biden to display either foreign policy competence or at his advanced age and state of his declining mental faculties, the ability to adapt and learn to be better.

Blinken, who spearheaded the one lone so-called “foreign policy success” of the Obama era administration did so only by giving Iran virtually everything it wanted, exactly on Iran’s terms. So none of the major players in the Biden administration driving foreign policy have ever shown any ability to make the right decision or possess the skills to negotiate forcefully or intelligently with foreign leaders and their people that are clearly more competent than them.

The rest of the Biden administration is equally populated by similarly inept, incompetent people selected only for their belief in “progressive” (socialist) ideology. This is obviously NOT a team one should expect great results from, if your goal is protecting the interests of the American people and the nation as whole.

2) Democrats have publicly espoused for decades that the United States needed to be “knocked down a few rungs on the ladder” and the United States was somehow unjust on a fundamental level. That is needs to “pay” for some imaginary wrongs the Democrats have conjured up in their minds to justify the hate they have for this country and its people. This mindset no doubt filters into their conscious or unconscious actions when sitting across the negotiating table from say Russia, China, Iran or North Korea. Foreign leaders and their equivalent State Department type teams all no doubt pick up on all of this and have been briefed on how to leverage it all for their country’s benefit.

Funny and ironic. We will not defend our own southern border from invasion but many want to defend a country we have no real strategic interest in? Leave it to the European’s to defend if they so choose. America is tired of spending billions and losing young men for nothing.

There are patriots who believe Putin’s complaint that NATO promised not to add countries (but did).
There is research into the history. Transcripts of the talk between Secretary of State Baker and Gorbachev do not show any such promise. Just because the Russians complain that NATO can’t be on their border does not justify their massing troops on any other nation’s border. I hope AMAC will disabuse people who rely on facts of any sympathy for Putin because he fears ____ (any way he fills in the blank). Accusations are not facts.

Coward Lying Hidden Joe Biden has put the lives of every American at risk he talks tough, but our enemies know he is a paper Tiger, all we will hear is lip service from a man who can’t think for himself and will go to his bunker and hide like the coward weasel he is.
How in the world do we wake people up as to the danger he has put the world in, President Trump didn’t need to talk tough because everybody around the world knew he would not stand ideally by and watch other countries gain power all the while making us weaker.
when you get a chance to ask all the people running for Congress or the Senate or governor, you need to ask at least these two Questions do you support Russia or China and do you take George Soros money, and if they do vote for someone else.
God Save America!

I don’t think the parallel is entirely valid. Putin knows that his economy is weak, entirely dependent on the sale of oil and gas. He realizes that an invasion anywhere will jeopardize that fragile structure. Now that Biden has developed cartilage (not bone) in his back, there will be an eventual de-escalation

Wobbling, Precarious, Just On The Edge Of The Cliff… Of course, Putin can see what a mess Biden & Company has made of this country in only a year. (Well, the democrats were at it during the ‘campaign’ with the set up of their propaganda.) To some adversarial countries it is probably almost comic watching such ineptitude. However, waking up to the Stock Market with a 1000+ point dive on the Dow; one asks themselves: “Just WHAT is happening here?” Hum. We can skirt the issue here; however most of us know; half the country has Patient’s Rights; the other half ; (thanks to the Supreme Court, and Lying Biden has NO rights.) This has clogged up the works. There are law suits galore, people walking off the job, labor disputes and the list is endless. All because Biden and Company is causing a major ‘intestinal obstruction’ to the entire country! Hasn’t Biden and Company EVER PLAYED DOMINOES? CAUSE & EFFECT. Absolute imbeciles are ruining this country! May God & Our Patriot Fathers Pray For This Country!

I am very curious…
How can this very broken “democracy” of the United States possibly be involved in a World War if it doesn’t have its own s together?
Where would we get the REAL soldiers that would defend democracy that doesn’t even exist in its own nation?
How do we fight a World War when we need a Civil War first?

It’s Chamberlin and Hitler all over again; same shit, only different flies! We all know the cognitively challenged idiot in the White House, has never had a pair; however, he (or his puppeteers) are still is proving he is a lying, conniving political SOB! As they always say: whenever a problem occurs, follow the money! How stupid does this foul smelling mandate turd think we are? It is plainly evident, he kissed the ass, or something of else of Putin’s, to convince the Russians to invade the Ukraine and eliminate ALL the evidence of his and his son’s corruption and collaboration in that country!
Beyond that, better be prepared for WWIII; by our fearless leader has decided to do nothing, establishing precedent certainly noticed by China, they aren’t going to sit idly on the side lines and doing nothing for long.
Time is running out, so you better start stockpiling your essentials, for the movie “Red Dawn” is going to be actually playing out it’s doomsday scenario in your neighborhood soon.

DICTATOR Beijing biden will HIDE in Basement and SWAMP QUEEN pelosi will have Barbwire around Capital with National Guard protecting it leaving US without protection.
Why do you think they want to take our guns away?
So the AMERICAN people are DEFENSELESS and HELPLESS.
It’s the ONLY way DICTATOR Beijing biden can continue in SUPPORTING THEIR COMMUNISM AGENDA.
Remember DICTATOR Beijing biden said at his first news conference that he has to BUY MATERNITY FLIGHT SUITS for our PREGNANT female pilots.
Hilarious since we NEVER HAD Pregnant women pilots.
So, DICTATOR Beijing biden will be wearing his Bunny Rabbit slippers and drinking Hot Chocolate from HIDING in the Basement not knowing where he’s at believing he’s in Delaware.

Biden is no leader. Look what he did in Afghanistan that cost America so many young lives. 81 M votes for this hypocrite. Are you kidding me!. I agree with TPS about sleepy Joe. Perhaps Biden will go to his private residence again for 1/3 of the year off with all the crisis’s happening in America. Wasn’t Biden and his son paid off by Russia & China OUR ENEMIES? Why would he stand up for our Great Country? Biden is more than compromised, don’t you think? I am almost certain Biden will send Russia money like he and Obama did to Iran. Watch for this. How much longer must the American people deal with no leadership. 81M votes, what a scam.

Remember history always repeats itself and wow are we seeing it unfold right now in lightning speed, Putin is old school Soviet style tyrant and knows timing is everything. This country has never been this compromised or vulnerable to our adversaries and believe me there going to take full advantage of this. Biden is incompetent and cannot even field softball questions from friendly journalists. I’m sure any and all country’s depending on our military to protect them from evil empires are in a very bad position right now and know it! Woke military leaders, And a administration that’s desperately trying to change our entire country into a government run and Marxist style country. China and Russia are going to FEAST on everything right now.

Why we are interested in Ukraine, I have no idea. They are not even in NATO. The heck with them. Anyway, Biden is so folded into Russia and China he keeps kissing up to them. After all, they are giving him a fantastic salary. What treason, what hate of our Lord. I imagine that in the final end that HE will take care of all the money, power lovers. Think they know it? I have an answer for Ukraine to defeat Russia. Some time ago I read a statement by a Chinese General. In this article he said they could never attack America because there would be a citizen behind every tree with a hunting rifle. Our Defense department needs to arm every man, women and child in Ukraine that way there will be a citizen behind every tree with an AR15. Russa may still win but the cost in Russian soldier’s life’s will be unbearably high.
