AMAC Exclusive – By Seamus Brennan

Just a few weeks before the midterm elections, with most Americans intently focused on the races in key battleground states, the Senate HELP Committee Minority Oversight Staff—overseen by Senator Richard Burr (R-NC)—released an interim report with shocking new details on the origins of COVID-19. Among other major findings, the report (which has received conspicuously little coverage from the mainstream media) confirms what a large bulk of the American public suspected long ago: the virus likely originated in a Chinese lab.

Now, with Republicans set to take control of the House of Representatives in January and the potential for more hearings and investigations, the GOP has a critical opportunity to highlight the extent to which the media and cultural elites, including many within the medical establishment, lied to the public about the origins of the virus, often for transparently political purposes.

The report states that the “hypothesis of a natural zoonotic origin no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt, or the presumption of accuracy… While it is likely that SARS-CoV-2 originated from a bat virus, most likely one found in horseshoe bats residing in Southern China or Southeast Asia, it remains unknown how SARS-CoV-2 traveled more than 1,000 miles from Southern China or Southeast Asia before emerging in Wuhan.”

“Nearly three years after the COVID-19 pandemic began,” the report continues, “substantial evidence demonstrating that the COVID-19 pandemic was the result of a research-related incident has emerged. A research-related incident is consistent with the early epidemiology showing rapid spread of the virus in Wuhan, with the earliest calls for assistance being located in the [area] near the [Wuhan Institute of Virology]’s original campus in central Wuhan.”

The report goes on to catalogue the ways in which the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) “struggled to maintain key biosafety capabilities” at its “high containment” laboratories—including what the HELP committee describes as an “unsafe work environment for laboratory personnel.” The report concludes: “Based on the analysis of the publicly available information, it appears reasonable to conclude that the COVID-19 pandemic was, more likely than not, the result of a research-related incident.”

These findings are particularly notable given that broad segments of the American public were censored, silenced, and blacklisted on social media platforms—and elsewhere—for expressing precisely the same skepticism about the Chinese government’s narrative that the HELP Committee’s report has now essentially legitimized.

Even more disturbingly, throughout the 2020 campaign cycle, Democrats and the entire left-wing media establishment relentlessly insisted that President Donald Trump’s calls for an investigation into the lab leak theory were nothing more than an attempt to spread “racist conspiracy theories.” Once again, President Trump looks to be vindicated, and the mainstream media has been exposed for covering up the truth and facts in an attempt to undermine their political opponents.

The Senate report also further underscores the dangers of Big Tech censorship, particularly in times of crisis. From the onset of the pandemic until May 2021—more than a full year after the first COVID cases were reported in the United States—Facebook, with the blessing of the Biden administration, banned posts that suggested the virus originated in a lab. Likewise, YouTube notoriously banned content and users that refused to follow the approved COVID narrative. Twitter similarly removed posts that failed to toe the line. As journalist Glenn Greenwald aptly put it, “during one of the most consequential and confusing events of the last century—[the] COVID pandemic—Big Tech ensured that nobody on the internet was permitted to express any doubts about or dissent from the decrees of institutions of authority.”

Despite the growing mountain of evidence that runs counter to the Chinese government’s narrative that the virus had natural zoonotic origins, the media has unsurprisingly refused to acknowledge that it—as well as the public health entities it dutifully propped up for two years—were wrong. The World Health Organization has similarly escaped scrutiny, despite dismissing the lab leak theory early on at the behest of the Chinese government and announcing that it needed “no further investigation.”

The implications of this reality should frighten every American. For nearly the entirety of the COVID-19 pandemic, citizens were—and in some cases continue to be—banned from the digital public square because they circulated opinions and information that, to the chagrin of progressives and public health bureaucrats, has turned out to be “more likely than not” true, as the report put it. The aggressive efforts to blacklist ordinary Americans and even a sitting president for sharing accurate information not only cast doubt on the legitimacy of our public health institutions, but are also a foreboding sign for the freedom of speech in the United States.

There are still many questions left to answer. For one, when did leading figures in the medical establishment like Dr. Anthony Fauci know that the lab leak theory was viable? Why did he dismiss it out of hand early on in the pandemic?

Perhaps more importantly, Republicans in Congress should demand answers from the Biden administration about what they are doing to prevent another potential lab leak. Has all U.S. funding for Chinese labs ceased? What is the Biden administration doing to pressure the WHO into holding China accountable?

As trust in the media and public health institutions continues to plummet to startling lows, the individuals in charge of those institutions have nobody but themselves to blame. Addressing the revelations of this latest Senate report and working to develop more substantial answers about the origins of the pandemic that uprooted all of our lives for the better part of two years are important first steps to begin repairing that lost trust—and may be critical to stopping the next pandemic and mitigating the panic and uncertainty that will inevitably come with it.

Almost everything President Trump said was spot on. The left, the MSM and the RINOs diidn’t want to hear it, because they wanted a return to the business as usual status quo.

What no one at the time could have anticipated or known was that Dr. Fauci had in fact authorized the financing, through a third party firm Fauci used frequently, the very virus work being conducted in China’s CCP controlled Wuhan lab that created and then leaked the Covid-19 virus onto the rest of the world. That is just symbolic of the out of control administrative state that exists within our federal government. Where unelected and seemingly completely unaccountable individuals can and do run their own little fiefdoms at taxpayer expense.

That it took 2 years for the Senate to reach many of the same conclusions that President Trump was voicing while he was still in office is just representative of slow and inefficiently the government works with respect to virtually everything. Yes, it is good that Congress, or at least the Senate, finally got around to validating all this information, but I expect it will fall largely on deaf ears. Most of the MSM will bury this news and never report it to the general public, that remains completely ignorant of 95 percent of what goes on in this country and around the world. Instead the MSM will do more “news” on the importance of proper pronouns, how there is no actual crime despite the rising crime rates, how millions upon millions of illegal, illiterate aliens entering our country every year is somehow a good thing, how global warming is the cause of every hot day, cold day, rainy day, snowy day, windy day, etc..

The main thing that happened with the so called pandemic is that it offered the perfect storm for the 2020 elections. They used it to steal the election (read the time magazine article on it just after the election and how they saved their democracy. Now everyone is trying to blame Trump for the 2022 election loss. We haven’t cleaned up our election voting laws, and we need new blood to run the republican party. Well that is the way they see it, but we need a man with vision. So ask yourself did president Trump have vision or not. He predicted the stolen election. In looking at hindsight he should have fired fouchi. But fouchi is still there and probably will still be in 2024. President Trump is a man of vision. And in my opinion should be our next president. I could go on talking about division. We had the senate and house. Not much happened because of in house fighting. Not to mention gas prices, jobs, peace in Middle East, need I go on here. One word here Unity.
Now about Ron DeSantis..

President Trump has a character flaw. It’s name calling and it needs to stop. He called Ron DeSantis, Desantimonous. What president Trump should be doing is calling him up and doing whatever it takes to pull us together as we the people. We need a leader that will lead instead of divide. We The People need a party that will pull together for we the people as a nation instead of for their pocketbook. What we really need is revival in our house, senate and our nation. Because man has brought us to where we are now. It’s easy to sit here and say these things but it’s another thing to lay your life on the line to do the right things in the world we live in today. I for one am ashamed of our governing body as a whole. There are some that will stand up but not many that will support them. So we need unity. Is that even possible today. One thing in the Democrat party is they have unity. Maybe we should look at that and come together in one accord and make a stand. One nation under God. Sounds kind of old fashion doesn’t it. But what if.

This proves that the liberals and mainstream media are liars and do not want the public to know the truth. And all for political gain. Which also proves they don’t care about we the people. The biggest question is if the media would have been honest, how might the 2020 election turned out?????

As a nurse I was very suspicious of how fast the first Covid vaccine came out and of all places, CHINA, were the disease came from. Nobody seemed to be on the same page. But than at 70 years of age I’ve lived knowing that communist China could not be trusted.

With substantial evidence that all but guaranteed that this man made VIRUS was accidentally? Released from a CHINESE LABRATORY, the collateral damage really hasn’t even begun, this is the greatest crime against humanity and with all the covering up for the countries and people involved with this it’s a disaster, god help all of us if this was not an accident.

Most Americans know the answer to this question: Early on, Fauci didn’t want any of it to come back on himself as it most surreally did in fact, the rest is history…Bye, bye Fauci, the welcome mat has been removed…

Not only did the wuflu come from the laboratory, it was released as a biological weapon. The purpose was politically motivated. It did exactly what it was intended to do. That was too make President Trump look bad going into the election and crash the economy. It also made possible all of the voter fraud with the dump boxes and mail in ballots to everybody in the swing states. Even Fraudci told the President that he would be facing a major epidemic during his time in office. How did he know that if he wasn’t directly involved in the release?.

Of course COVID was released from a Communist Chinese lab. My question is was it accidental or on purpose, and if on purpose, why? Could it have been a weapon? If so, aren’t there more lethal weapons the CCP could have used? Or was it designed to destroy world economies?

We all know by now that narratives can be bought and we must not forget who benefited the most from this whole mess: Globalists, Big Pharma and Big Government! People don’t realize just how corrupt the medical/industrial complex is. With people on board who know the growing world population is becoming unsustainable, the opportunity to reduce that population, amplify tyrannical political power and gain profit, we can just as reasonably deduce that the entire event was planned. And it’s certainly no accident that the worst adverse reactions to the so called vaccine are in the age group most needed for a strong military! We will be seeing more consequences from reproductive, cardiac and immune system harm for a long time yet to come!

And now it’s every thing under the sun. Every time I accidentally let the local news come on it’s “RSV”, FLU, COVID, who knows what else, if you even think you might be feeling sick you should stay home for the holidays. I know it’s all BS to keep family from getting together and discussing what the Government has done and is still doing to us. But what about those who believe these scare tactics and propaganda. When and how are we going to put a stop to it. Living here in the deep blue state of Michigan it may be worse than other places, I sure hope so. And that brings up another subject, how did the communist red scare become blue?

There’s been plenty of discussion about the origins of the virus in medical journals. Just because y’all are too lazy to look it up don’t mean it ain’t real.
