WASHINGTON, D.C. — After leading a delegation of 10 Republican lawmakers to the border, House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) sent a memo to his Whip Team detailing the horrifying things the Representatives witnessed on their trip. Whip Scalise criticized the Biden Administration for failing to address the ongoing humanitarian, health, and national security crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border and blamed President Biden’s actions and rhetoric for encouraging tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to unlawfully enter the United States. In his memo, Whip Scalise called on President Biden to end his self-made crisis, secure the border, and protect the American people.

Carter, a moderate Democrat, was president from 1977-1981. He led a remarkably active and constructive post-presidential life concerning himself with ameliorating global suffering, housing shortages and ravages from diseases as well as numerous peace seeking diplomatic missions.
