Legislation and Policy Support
H.R. 7296 – SAVE America Act
Public confidence in elections is essential to the survival of our republic, and the SAVE America Act takes clear, commonsense steps to ensure that federal elections are secure, lawful, and worthy of the public’s trust. This legislation requires eligible photo identification for voting in federal elections; proof of U.S. citizenship, obtained in person, when registering to vote; and states remove non-citizens from existing voter rolls. S. 3790 – Protect America Act
Laws must be consistently enforced, borders must be respected, and communities must be able to rely on public institutions to prioritize safety and order. This legislation presents a clear and principled framework for restoring lawful governance. It has four central planks: permanently ending sanctuary city policies that undermine federal authority; enhancing penalties for illegal entry and re-entry to deter repeated violations; protecting law enforcement officers; and defunding rogue non-governmental organizations that enable or benefit from unlawful activity. Arizona HCR 2001 – Secure Elections
This bill restores confidence in Arizona’s elections by ensuring that only US citizens may vote in state elections, banning foreign money from funding candidates and ballot measures, requiring a government-issued ID to vote, mail-in ballot address verification, guaranteed in-person voting at polling locations, and mandating that early voting ends no later than 7:00 p.m. the Friday before Election Day. Florida Senate Bill 1756 – Medical Freedom
This bill advances the principles of personal responsibility, limited government interference, and the right of individuals and families to make informed decisions about their own healthcare. Provisions of this bill require clear, standardized disclosure to parents and legal guardians before vaccines are administered to minors; allow pharmacists to dispense ivermectin as a behind-the-counter medication; require that the Department of Health make religious and conscience-based immunization exemption forms readily available; and require good-faith estimates for non-emergency medical services. West Virginia HB 4470 and SB 905 – Vote Verification
This legislation provides much-needed transparency and authentication for West Virginia’s election process. It requires election officials to publish digital images of ballots and records of cast votes without compromising ballot secrecy. This allows voters to uniquely identify and verify their own ballot in statewide elections. Click here to read AMAC Action’s letter of support.
