The Honorable Jim Banks
US Senator for Indiana
303 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Senator Banks,

On behalf of AMAC Action, the advocacy affiliate of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), with over 2 million members nationwide, we write to express our strong support for S. 2955, the Forced Abortion Prevention and Accountability Act. Our members have long advocated for policies that safeguard women, children, and families, and your legislation addresses a deeply troubling and growing threat that demands a decisive federal response. In recent years, we advocated against abortion-inducing drugs which have become widely accessible with minimal oversight, creating dangerous opportunities for misuse. Tragically, abusers, traffickers, and coercive partners have exploited this lack of regulation to harm women by secretly administering these drugs without their knowledge or consent.

Your bill takes morally urgent action by establishing federal criminal penalties for knowingly and intentionally administering abortion-inducing drugs without informed consent, and by ensuring stronger consequences when such abuse results in serious bodily injury. The legislation also addresses attempts, conspiracies, and irresponsible distribution practices by requiring reasonable measures to confirm that these drugs are being obtained by women who are knowingly and willingly seeking them.

As an organization representing millions of seniors across the country who care deeply about protecting future generations, we believe this legislation reflects a fundamental truth: no woman should ever be deceived, manipulated, or forced into ending a pregnancy. By advancing this bill, you and your co-sponsors are providing vital leadership in defending the rights and safety of mothers and their unborn children.

Seniors across the country recognize the importance of this legislation and strongly support your efforts to bring justice to victims and accountability to offenders. Thank you for your commitment to protecting women and strengthening the culture of life in our nation.

Sincerely,
Andrew J. Mangione Jr.
Senior Vice President

I just read an account of a ‘boyfriend’ forcing his girlfriend to take the pill to kill the baby they conceived, but I never heard any account of the charges brought against this man for even domestic violence, much less the forced killing of an innocent baby. We just never seem to get the rest of the story.

What about mail fraud from out of state doctors who use our mail service to commit this atrocity? Just asking.
