Baton Rouge, Louisiana – The Louisiana State Senate this week passed HB 608, the Women’s Safety and Protection Act, sending it on to Governor Jeff Landry for signature. Passage of this bill comes following a coordinated messaging campaign from AMAC members in Louisiana urging their senators to vote “yes” on the bill.

In total, AMAC members sent nearly 260 messages to their elected leaders in support of the legislation.

This bill establishes crucial safeguards for the privacy and security of women in public spaces, including locker rooms, changing facilities, school restrooms, prisons, and domestic violence facilities. It specifically defines “man” and “woman” according to biological sex and prohibits males from entering female-only spaces.

AMAC Action President Bob Carlstrom said, “AMAC members throughout the country have consistently turned their support for women’s and parental rights into action, and our Louisiana members are no different. We look forward to Governor Landry signing this bill into law.”

As left-wing activists continue to wage war on biological reality and push harmful and anti-science radical gender ideology, AMAC Action will continue to stand for the right of women and girls to access safe and secure female-only spaces. Governor Landry should swiftly sign this common-sense bill into law.

Finally someone has the integrity and common sense to recognize and not be afraid of a biological man and a biological woman being just that: a man and a woman— the perfection that God created.

I am a strong and purposeful supporter of women’s rights I support Riley Gaines and her work to protect women in sports and elsewhere, and will always stand up for a woman’s right to privacy in bathrooms, changing rooms showers and other women only spaces.

That there is a need for such bill shows that we are in the quick sand up to our necks

They want to eliminate all women. Me too is no more. We have to pass the 19th amendment all over again. Ole Joe and Obiden see only rainbow females. Heterosexual whites females will be eliminated. Like every white heterosexual male. The just cut the head of the heterosexual community. Which will bite them in the a.. come November. Vote Trump.

An encouraging development. Men are men, women ate women, and women should not have to deal with men who have a mental illness.

Sad that we have to pass laws to prevent perverts from violating women’s privacy and competitive sports rights.

Pretending that fundamental distinctions between opposites do not exist, and requiring others to recognize your deviant perspective as truth is a tactic of the forces of social chaos. The purpose of introducing chaos into a stable social structure has only one purpose – to obtain control over that structure, and its members. This kind of control is a characteristic of communist and socialist power structures. It is a manifestation of the fear of a loss of control. Giving power and responsibility to members of society requires the absence of direct control, and is therefore abhorrent to those who live in fear of self-control and its related requirement for a robust sense of responsibility.

No state should have to pass laws to specifically protect women’s rights. Every state should already protect all women as much as they do men. We need to go back to 1950s when this country had morals & Leave It TO Beaver on TV;

I would hope this is not the only state with such a law, but I suspect it is.

AMAC’s part in lobbying Louisiana to pass legislation protecting women’s rights and privacy is beyond commendable. I confess, I have been lax in renewing my membership but when I read about the wonderful results they had in Louisiana, I was compelled to renew my membership for 5 years. Thank You AMAC! Keep fighting the GOOD FIGHT our nation is blessed by you.

I’m not too sure how much AMAC had to do with this. DNCGOP Gov. Edwards wouldn’t sign the legislation. However, Gov. Landry has delivered common sense protection to the women and girls of LA. Our biggest problem here is “Republican” candidates mouth the right words and then vote like Democrats.

Too bad! We need more “men” playing women’s sports. I was counting on LSU to field an “all-trans” D-1 softball team and sweep the NCAA Women’s College World Series next year.
