What is Medicare?

Medicare is a federal health insurance program primarily for people aged 65 and older. It helps cover hospital care, doctor visits, preventive services, and other essential health needs. Medicare gives you choices for how you receive your care—either through Original Medicare (Parts A & B), or through a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) offered by private insurance companies. Many people also add Medigap to help pay for out-of-pocket costs.

What are my Medicare options?

When you turn 65, have a qualifying disability, end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
(ALS), you’re eligible for Part A and Part B — that’s Original Medicare.

Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage) is not offered by AMAC Medicare Advisory Service at this time.
