This is always my worst category. For some reason, I struggle to unscramble letters to make words!
I forgot how to spell scythe….
My honorable father used to use the sentence when he was called, “Nobody here but us chickens.” Dad is gone now, and I have been wondering since, where, when, and why anyone would ever utter that sentence. Can someone please help me out?

I doubt that a farm today has a harness or a Scythe. Those were used before the modern era in farming.

I used 4 letter hints on tractor and 4 letter hints on harness. The rest I got without any help.

Who ever came up with these words had been watching too many episodes of Green Acres. Of the items listed tractor is probably the only item found on modern farms…the others are pretty much obsolete.
I should have handed this puzzle to my husband. He loves these, I struggle with them. My brain wasn’t built to unscramble words.
