4:25 & had NO CLUE on “claddagh” or the last phrase. I am half Irish & am embarrassed to say I had to ask for the whole word hints on “celtic” & “shamrock”, for heaven’s sake. i’m usually not too good at these puzzles [but am a very good scrabble player, go figure] but i am ashamed at this one. gotta eat more corned beef & cabbage!!

I got four of the clues without hints, but couldn’t get “claddagh” or the answer. I’ve never heard either.

Got all the words except NO IDEA on the puzzle answer. Not Irish enough to know that – never heard that saying.

After seeing the clues, I decided to solve it the fastest way I could; I utilised the puzzle reveal feature. There was no way I could have solved it otherwise!

I totally bombed on this one. For the last 3 words that involved 14 boxes, I had only 8 letters to choose from. Not that it mattered. Ha!

3:39 With Lots of hints … I mean LOTS of hints. Only knew the last three words, the rest I was clueless.

This puzzle was pretty esoteric. I have never heard of the final phrase, and the only reason I knew about the claddagh was that I look at a lot of Irish-themed jewelry.

I had to cheat. Haven’t been around enough Irish folks.

I don’t believe how ignorant I am of Irish heritage.

Couldn’t spell the brew. Did nothing on that phrase at the end…HUH.4:06. Don’t think it is cheating to read the comments!!

I’m all Irish and never heard some of these words nor the phrase at the end. Guess culture wasn’t that important to my family.

After Guinness, Celtic and Shamrock, I didn’t even finish and just came straight to the comments. Glad to see I was not the only one who struggled

Got all the words in under 3 minutes, but who in the world could ever come up with the final phrase?

4:21 with lots of letter hints and three word hints. I’m not Irish, I guess, for a reason.

Failed….had to reveal claddagh and the last phrase

I’m one-quarter Irish, and my dad loved all things Irish, but I had to get a couple of letter clues for the second word (no idea of its meaning) and a final reveal for the saying. Turns out that I had the saying correct except for the spelling of the last word. I am a nerd about word origins, and so I guessed the first two words in the saying correctly.

4:23 23 letter clues. Never heard of #2 and the phrase. Cheated by reading comments. Couldn’t believe one wasn’t jumbled. But I knew the brew!
