I used to be a lab technician in a much larger foundry. Our ladles held up to 3000 lbs. Very hard work for a younger man than I am today. When I left for a cleaner job, I landed at a company that was a customer of the foundry. We once received a load of castings that were defective, with a lot of sand that had eroded into them when they were poured. I got to talk to my old boss and made our complaint, he replied, “We used to have a lab tech that made sure that didn’t happen.” “If you would have paid him what that was worth to you, he might have stayed with you.” Within 2 hours they replaced our order, it took that long because the steel had to cool off to 300 degrees from the 2400 degree pouring temperature. I had a bunch of muscles then.

Worked in a foundry that poured aluminum and magnesium. About the same size of molds we used for aircraft parts. Very tough, demanding and dangerous work. Putting out the few magnesium fires we had over the years was the toughest part.

The puzzle is definitely not made for a phone, vertical the puzzle does not allow the pieces to move to the right column. And horizontal, AMAC takes up 1/4 of the screen so that you have to scroll and grab puzzle piece, scoot it up then, repeat, repeat, and repeat, over & over. The picture looks like small Green sand Molding with cores for very small parts very clean operation to get good parts. And hey what’s up with this very short time to post a remark. I HAVE to renew the check mark that I am not a robot every 30 to 45 seconds. This is an exercise In futility.
