Love this picture, I keep returning to enjoy again- I challenge myself by moving the pieces as they’re displayed and playing ‘first up’ to keep the game fresh and make my brain work!

2:02 I had horses as a teenager and rode in the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans. That was fun…and a bit scary at times. My horse got spooked by the drums in the marching band on the other side of the median, once. Horses are beautiful, yet powerful and deserve respect. Love to see them running wild and free like in this picture.

Do y’all remember when the US government disbanded the Cavalry, and was going to destroy all the horses? God bless the Canadians for taking on those horses and saving them!!! I suspect they turned them loose and they would look like these horses…Isn’t it interesting they had to go to Canada to be free? Very different from what is going on there now!

4:32 with six misplaced pieces. A beautiful photo. I grew up in Florida but always felt I would’ve loved to be a cowboy (never happened). I was twice stationed in San Antonio, Texas with the Air Force but very little opportunity to interact with horses. Have lived in Las Vegas since November 1993 and have had the opportunity to see wild horses and burros as well as desert big horn sheep a few times.
