On a motorcycle trip to Colorado we found 6 degrees (F) in the morning on August 8! When it heated up to 20, and the sun rose, we were surrounded by of a mess of mountains with a lake off to the right hand side. We felt that we were in the middle of a picture postcard. It was the second most beautiful place I had ever seen, and these eyes are old. Talked to someone at a fuel stop, and they said we were fortunate there wasn’t any snow.
