Great movie.
There was an exchange between Mr. Rick and a bar fly in the movie that I used on my girl friend, now wife, who hadn’t seen “Casablanca” until after our engagement:
Mary: “What happened to you last night?”
BFZ: “I don’t remember.”
Mary: “What about tonight?”
BFZ: “I never plan that far ahead.”
The look on her face when when she saw that scene in the movie was priceless. “That’s where you got that!” she exclaimed.
8:24 with 0 missed, I never saw the movie, but after reading all the comments it sounds interesting enough to do so now. Besides, it will be refreshing to watch a movie again without all the cursing and swearing and torrid sex scenes.
Bogart was the man and Ingrid was a beauty…
