We were so blessed to have terrific music throughout the late 1950s, 1960s, and well into the 70s. Compared to now….

I still have a bunch of LP’s, and a few 78’s that dad had kept. Mom threw away all my baseball cards (she decided to clean my room) when I went to college, including BOTH of my Mickey Mantle rookie cards in mint condition that go for about $750,000 EACH now. Oh, well, easy come easy go.

2:05 I wish I would have kept all those records instead of using them as frisbees just to see how far they would sail…a considerable distance I might add.

I remember all that music and had no problem putting it together. I can also remember that, when I wasn’t looking, my brothers would threaten to throw my 45’s out the window–like frisbees! I haven’t thought about that in years. Thanks for the reminder.

I selected brain buster, but it gave me normal, and I couldn’t change it, so after thinking about it, I went ahead and completed it. What a surprise to finish in 1:45. We have a local (WDRV – Chicago) disc jockey that spins one 45 @ 1:45 pm, daily. How fitting. Now I’ll see if I can bring up the BB level.

Liked the “Motown” label, growing up in northern Ohio we listened to CKLW (a Canadian strong AM station, Winsor Ont.) that played a lot of Motown songs.
