Conservatives Reclaim June from Rainbow Mafia with “Fidelity Month”

For years now, Americans have become accustomed to having rainbow flags and drag queen story hours shoved in their face every June while major brands and sports teams unveil a gaudy array of “pride”-themed merchandise and platitudes. But this year, conservatives are pushing back with their own messaging, marking June as “Fidelity Month” – a celebration of God, community, country, and the nuclear family.

Princeton University Professor Robert George, a Catholic conservative, first began promoting “Fidelity Month” in 2023. He urged the celebration of the month alongside various pro-life and Protestant leaders. “As my Facebook friends know, by the authority vested in me by absolutely no one, I have declared June to be ‘Fidelity Month’ – a month dedicated to the importance of fidelity to God, spouses and families, our country, and our communities,” he wrote in May 2023.

As The College Fix previously reported, George also encouraged people to “make and fly a Fidelity Month flag” to celebrate their support for what made the country great.

Just a few years later, conservative leaders have turned what began as a simple Facebook post and a webinar into a national movement.

Utah Republican Governor Spencer Cox declared ahead of June 1 that the state would officially recognize “Fidelity Month” and would celebrate the “core values” of the country, including “faith, family, [and] country.”

The proclamation marks a noteworthy shift for Cox, who declared June as “LGBTQ+ Pride Month” in 2021 and 2022 – the peak of woke insanity under the Biden administration. Cox also vetoed a bill in 2022 which would have banned male athletes who claim they are transgender from competing on women’s sports teams in Utah public schools (the legislature ultimately overrode his veto). Cox’s reversal is a clear sign of the LGBT movement’s declining power in American culture and politics.

Several other Republican-led states have now joined Utah in recommitting to the values of faith, family, and patriotism.

“Cultivating fidelity to God, family, community, and country contributes to human flourishing and supports a healthy, stable, well-ordered society,” Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders wrote in her own Fidelity Month proclamation.

In a subtle shot at Pride Month, Sanders declared, “June is promoted by community and faith leaders as a time to encourage renewed dedication to these virtues and institutions.”

Other Republicans picked up this theme and issued their own proclamations supporting “Nuclear Family Month” or “Strong Families Month.”

“We proudly recognize the mothers and fathers raising the next generation and preserving the timeless values that guide Alabama,” Governor Kay Ivey announced on X. She also thanked her own parents who showed her “that strong families begin with strong parents.”

Indiana Governor Mike Braun likewise recognized the value parents and grandparents bring to the family, while also affirming that marriage is between one man and one woman.

“As a father of four and grandfather of seven, I have seen firsthand the impact that loving, committed families can have across multiple generations,” he wrote, declaring “Nuclear Family Month” in the Hoosier State. He added that “God’s design for the family structure” includes “one husband, one wife,” and children.

Governor Braun also affirmed that “strong families” are needed for a stable civil society, tying that truth to the semiquincentennial celebrations this year. The state, through the proclamation, recognized “the important role families play in shaping the future of our state and our country.”

Tennessee Republican leaders, meanwhile, highlighted their own April resolution that establishes “Nuclear Family Month” in the state. Their bill declares that “the nuclear family is God’s perfect design for humanity and is aligned with the long-held traditional values of Tennessee.”

As Father’s Day approaches, the resolution also affirms the importance of dads in the home. It notes that “fatherless youths” are more likely to commit suicide, abuse alcohol, and end up in prison.

Predictably, LGBT leaders have claimed that it is “insulting” to commemorate Nuclear Family Month alongside their Pride Month programming.

“When the government comes in and says June, which everybody knows is Pride Month, is Nuclear Family Month, yes, there’s a bit of petty insulting going on there,” Tennessee Equality Project leader Chris Sanders told WKRN.

But as conservatives have pointed out, no one group has claim over the entire month of June. While the “rainbow mafia” may have forced corporate America to bend the knee to their political agenda, the rest of the country is under no obligation to do so. Proponents of the nuclear family and traditional American values are free to celebrate them whenever and however they wish.

LGBT activists still have every right to wave their rainbow flags and host pride parades, and liberal politicians can celebrate that movement all they want. But Republican leaders and everyday conservatives have just as much of a right to promote and celebrate something else: strong families – including wise and loving grandparents – and love of country.

Now that is something to take “pride” in and celebrate this June.

Funny how “they” can’t see how offensive their whole movement of Pride is to 95% of the world.

God bless the USA, and its core values of the country, including faith, family, and country.
The fact that there even IS a deviant portion of our population, perhaps 15%, really doesn’t register on my radar. A who’s who list is interesting:

1- Hispanic/Latino Americans ~15%2-People living in poverty
Expected to reach ~25% by 2050
2023 Census estimate: 12.4%
Children have higher rates (~16%)
3. People aged 65+ — ~17%
Expected to reach ~20% by 2030
4. People with a bachelor’s degree — ~38%
…but people with no college education are around 12–15% depending on definition.
5. Foreign‑born residents — ~14%
This includes immigrants from all countries.
Highest since early 20th century
6. People who smoke cigarettes — ~12%
7. People who live in rural areas — ~14%
The U.S. is overwhelmingly urban/suburban now.

???? Biological or trait‑based groups near 15%
These are not protected categories — just human variation.
1. Left‑handed + mixed‑handed combined — ~18–20%
Left‑handed: ~10–12%
Mixed‑handed / ambidextrous: ~8–10%
2. People with natural blue eyes — ~17%
3. People with some form of diagnosed anxiety disorder — ~19%
This is a medical category, not an identity category.
4. People with red hair + carriers of the red‑hair gene
Redheads: 1–2%
Carriers of MC1R variants: ~15–20%
(This is why red hair pops up unexpectedly in families.)

Do all these people have their own MONTH? Are they MORE or LESS important to the politics of our nation than who you have sex with? This is DISGUSTING, and detrimental to the consciousness of our children and the population in general.
A MONTH!?! A whole freaking month to celebrate sexual deviance? NO! I DON’T CARE, AND I DON’T WANT TO KNOW, AND I DON’T WANT MY CHILDREN TO KNOW. SHUT IT DOWN!

Last time I checked, Pride was one of the Seven Deadly Sins, anyway. Get outta my face.

I have never been PROUD of any of my sins! I certainly wouldn’t publicly celebrate them! These freaks have already taken over the rainbow, a symbol of God’s love. They should fly flags with serpents on them!

LGBT activists will find out about He[[ at their judgement day at God’s Throne. It will be very toasty.

My dad said many times when I was a kid that the downfall of our country would be the breaking up of American families. It was shortly after all of those tenement buildings were built in Chicago and only single women with kids could live there. Where the heck were the husbands or boyfriends to go? Guess LBJ didn’t think about that. He created the break-up of black families with his welfare projects. Radical liberals do not have enough intelligence to think about what the future will look like when they throw money at such projects. Now these welfare lovers are Communists who think they can take over and change us into another Communist China. Republicans…get out to vote these evil beings cannot be allowed to continue on this path!

LGBTQ stole the Catholic celebration of June being the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Adding Fidelity Month is uniting.

The lowlife lbgtqrstu faggots and lessies picked the rainbow as their standard because they knew it was God’s promise to Noah to never flood the earth again with water. They also know that the flood today is a flood of lies thru satan to destroy the world. I would not want to stand before God on judgement day saying I mocked his covenant with Noah and committed all the acts that he himself calls an abomination.
Most of the youth today have been brainwashed thru the public schools to believe they are not normal and must behave opposite of who they are, the teachers today keep them drugged instead of using God and discipline as the golden rule.

My sentiments exactly!! This article has been a long time coming…and I thank God that it finally did! I would love to have a Fidelity Month t-shirt & would wear it proudly! I’d fly the flag, too, if I had one! It’s time to stand up & fight for what we believe!

I like the idea of fidelity month.I am already sick of hearing about pride month, and it’s only June 4th.I don’t like or agree with pride month, and don’t appreciate, the left, trying to make me feel obligated, to celebrate something I don’t believe it.I refuse to celebrate pride month.

Former presidents get 1 day. MLK gets 1 day a year to celebrate. Working people in this country get 1 day a year. And God forbid veterans who fought and died for this country are celebrated for only 1 day a year. But the arrogant mentally ill LGTBQ cross dressing reprobates that claim 6 different genders have allocated themselves an entire month to be celebrated! Why would any straight heterosexual, the vast majority of the population, want to celebrate this disgusting and frighteningly ugly mob of insidious sexual deviants for even a day, let alone an entire month? They are, fortunately, only a small portion of the population, so why do so many corporations and governments and bureaucracies cow tow and bend the knee to these miscreants? To hell with the LGBTQ movement.
