BOHEMIA, NY — MAY 29 — RoseMark Advisors will host The Last Love Letter: Planning Ahead for the People You Love, a free two-part educational webinar series designed to help older Americans and their families prepare for the difficult financial, legal, and planning decisions that can follow the unexpected death of a loved one.

The webinar series will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2 p.m. EST. Both sessions will be hosted by Ashley Morrone, Director of Financial Services for RoseMark Advisors.

Losing a loved one is never easy. For many families, the emotional burden is made even heavier by uncertainty over what to do next, who to call, which documents are needed, and how to make important financial and legal decisions under pressure. “The Last Love Letter” is designed to help families take practical steps now, before a crisis forces the conversation.

“Preparedness is one of the most meaningful gifts we can leave our loved ones,” said Ashley Morrone. “This webinar series is about helping families reduce confusion, avoid costly mistakes, and approach difficult decisions with greater confidence and peace of mind.”

The first session will focus on the immediate priorities families should understand in the first 72 hours following an unexpected death, including who to contact, what to secure, and what steps to avoid. The session will also cover essential legacy planning topics such as wills, trusts, beneficiary designations, probate, and the key documents every family should have in place.

The second session will address Social Security survivor strategies, life insurance, pension elections, long-term care, Medicaid planning, and the importance of organizing financial records. Attendees will also learn how a comprehensive planning framework can help protect loved ones and preserve family stability during an already difficult time.

Each session will include a live Q&A segment, giving attendees the opportunity to have their questions addressed by an experienced planning professional. At the conclusion of the series, participants will be invited to schedule a complimentary 30-minute preparedness review with a RoseMark Advisors planning specialist.

“The Last Love Letter” reflects RoseMark Advisors’ commitment to providing practical, compassionate guidance to individuals and families as they plan for the future.

Attention Skeptics! Do something! Take advantage of professionals! I am a former financial advisor and tax preperation professional. I get it and I am very well prepared. However, My dear sweet wife is all but clueless because she’s never wanted to be involved in the nuts and bolts. My current advisor is very good about keeping plans current and viable, but my wife’s action plan is “call Rebecca upon my death and ‘all will be fine,’ ” but I don’t think that will be cutting it and my skills for educating her for actually executing the plan and taking subsequent actions are likely very poor and ineffective (but what do I care, I’ll be dead, HA!).

But I have to remark on the picture you included. Excellent! A beautiful woman, tools at hand (documents and a laptop) sitting next to an old, obviously cllueless, coot with his pills at the ready, pleased with himself with no understanding of why, sporting a typiclally crappy beard, assuming “all is just fine.” But without a professional backing him up, not so. Sheesh.
