The Trump administration is going door to door investigating childcare fraud in Minnesota’s Somali immigrant community as the scandal continues to receive national attention.
The Department of Homeland Security sent investigative agents to examine Somali-run childcare facilities to determine whether they are abusing taxpayer funds after a YouTuber brought national attention to seemingly empty daycares receiving public funding.
“DHS is on the ground in Minneapolis, going DOOR TO DOOR at suspected fraud sites. The American people deserve answers on how their taxpayer money is being used and ARRESTS when abuse is found,” DHS announced Tuesday on social media.
“Our agents are conducting a massive operation to identify, arrest, and remove criminals who are defrauding the American people at daycares, healthcare facilities, and other suspected sites. We will not stop until we’ve rooted out this rampant fraud plaguing Minnesota,” the agency said in a follow-up post.
Accompanying the posts were videos of DHS agents talking to employees for their investigation. DHS has not announced any new arrests or criminal charges up to this point.
The door-to-door investigation comes after Nick Shirley went viral earlier this week for sharing a video of himself visiting Somali-run facilities and asking about where the taxpayer funds are going. Shirley’s video garnered over 100 million views on X and caught the eye of Vice President JD Vance and other political leaders.
Somali welfare fraud across various government programs under Minnesota governor Tim Walz (D) has become a national scandal and the target of increased federal scrutiny. Earlier this month, prosecutors announced they were broadening their sweeping investigation into fraud, with a focus on 14 different Medicaid-funded programs meant to help the poor. Federal prosecutors’ initial assessment concluded that over half of the $18 billion of federal funds spent on the programs since 2018 was fraudulent.
Six additional defendants were charged in December for the ongoing fraud scandal, bringing the total number of defendants to 98 thus far. Attorney General Pam Bondi said Monday that 85 of the defendants are Somali and more than 60 individuals have been found guilty. She thanked law enforcement for its role in investigating the Covid-19 fraud scheme Feeding Our Future, for which 78 defendants have been charged, including 72 people of Somali descent. Several Feeding Our Future defendants attempted to bribe jurors and faced prosecution for doing so.

The American tax payer’s supply the funds for the piggy bank that the parasites of the world feed upon. There is no love for our country by these parasites, and no desire to assimilate. This is only one specific investigation, fraud and abuse yes but how is that different from Obama’s giving “loans” and hand outs to his supporters who quickly went belly up after receiving money, how many dead are still collecting soc. security, the list of fraud is endless, law makers ignoring the law, lets open the Pandora chest and see what all pops out.
Why are we giving the Somalis ANY money in the first place? We’re giving them billions when we have homeless veterans living on the street? Send them all back!

I am all for holding those who have committed the fraud in these programs accountable. BUT let’s not stop there….. root out the “public employees” who are responsible for administering the funding for these programs. Fire them from the bosses to the workers. They are as responsible as the thief’s.

There are so many people involved with the fraud, they cannot all be arrested. Democrats allowed this to happen because they see this as reparations or deserved social welfare, NOT fraud. They involved large numbers of Somalias and were probably told “this is how we do it in America”. Democrats are lawless because they feel victimized and deserving of other citizen money. This is systemic crime in Democrat led cities and counties.

Question: why didn’t the Federal department over Medicare and Medicaid catch this? They have information about what they pay out to each state, whether the payments are made to an organization, specific person, etc. Shouldn’t they be running reports every month as a matter of routine, that compare the costs from prior years, by state, organization, etc? There must have been a huge increase in payments to the state of Minnesota from this huge fraud. In my opinion, the feds could have caught this and questioned what was going on a long time ago.
I am so proud and thankful for President Trump and his historically achievements for our country! As an American taxpayer I not only want to see everyone involved found but I want them to be executed! Stop letting thrives and murders get getting away with a slap in the hand! As a young father with four small children, I was hammered by the IRS in 1978. for an error on my income tax for $1,000.00 in a childcare error. They put me through Hell. I have lost faith in my country that I talked my two grandsons out of joining the military. This is so unfair. I was, repeatedly, denied payment for surgery so I can get new dentures. And, here I find out that there has been fraud all along, by none other than those who have been stealing from the medical aid system.
I’m not exactly angry. I’m more disappointed that this has been going on for a long time and no one did anything about it until now. Hopefully, this new year will bring more justice for us seniors, who deserve to have what we need.
Funny my sister is on disability she draws snap benefits I won 5K on the lottery it didn’t take a week for them to inform her we made over a limit for our household and cut her snap and she had to reapply l wasn’t aware of the limit I spent the money redoing floors and bathrooms in the house point of story is they keep an Eagle eye on US so how did so much money get scronderd away you’d think they would watch large amounts of money being spent rather than few thousand just my opinion
Where to begin? Let’s start with the following:
1. Cut off ALL Federal dollars to ALL States involved in this fraud until each State fires and possibly imprisons all city and state employees involved in approving the paperwork that allowed this fraud, and the millions and billions of STOLEN taxpayer dollars.
2. FBI and DOJ MUST investigate the Governors of these states, mayors and their administrations to find out their involvement with what did they know and when did they know it, regarding ANY of this. And WHAT did they do about stopping it, investigating it, prosecuting the frauders, or did they simply look the other way or cover it up? Prosecute any and ALL found guilty.
3. ICE should swarm these Samali cess pools of felony fraud with their own unpresidented version of SHOCK AND AWE. Leave no stone unturned, no door left closed, no building uninspected, no Samali unvetted and checked thoroughly.
Have busses standing by to haul these sorry criminal evil parasites to the airports for immediate deportation.
4. Effective IMMEDIATELY, FREEZE ALL SAMALI ASSETS, PROPERTIES, STOCKS AND BONDS, BANK ACCOUNTS (BOTH HERE AND OVERSEAS), ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY (CARS, BOATS, MOTORCYCLES, SNOWMOBILES SNOWBLOWERS, ETC. AND THEN THROW ALL THEIR LEADERS INTO PRISON UNTIL EVERY DIME SENT OVERSEAS HAS BEEN RETURNED, INCLUDING ALL INTEREST IT WOULD HAVE EARNED IN HIGH YIELD BANKING PRODUCTS OR INVESTED IN THE NY STOCK MARKET.
5. THOROUGHLY INVESTIGATE AND AUDIT EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS, STARTING WITH OMAR, THE SQUAD, OAC, PELOSI, WATTERS, SCHUMER, SCHIFF, DURBEN, SANDERS, AND WARREN.
And I blame the DAMNOcrats for this crap because they allowed it and just kept supporting it!!

I know she’s not the only one who gets very wealthy when they become members of the house or senate, (on both sides), but her wealth seemed to increase quickly…..from her annual income to MILLIONS in two terms??????? Our DoJ has made about 100 arrests in Minnesota alone, with about 58 convictions so far, with most of the arrests and convictions being Somalis.
Similar fraud was uncovered in Seattle (KOMO News) and looks like there may be similar fraud being exposed in Idaho and other states.

It seems like the United States was just giving away billions of taxpayer dollars to anyone who wanted it, except of course actual Americans and those who really needed it for legal and pragmatic causes. If Kackles and Tampon Boy would have got elected, this multi billion dollar fraud would have continued into eternity, countrywide, and America would have continued to circle the drain until the eventual collapse and ultimate destruction of our great nation, all of it at the hand of a corrupted, insidious, and uncaring democrat party.

It’s not the programs that are the problem, it’s the (1) Vetting, (2) Oversight, and (3) Accountability. They put the programs on autopilot and let human nature take over. When you put taxing authority in the hands of 535 people who represent 340 million people, something will fall thru the cracks. And then take that down to the state level.
I heard this the other day about checks from the California EDD during COVID. All you had to say was you were unemployed. People incarcerated and on death row were getting checks! We have too many people in government who have funding authority but have never run a business or signed a payroll check. If their pay was predicated on how well they fiscally ran their department, they might be more attentive. The bureaucracy is so large that it is unmanageable. We have programs which have sunset, but no one can remember, and they just roll on. No audit if the program needs to continue of if it accomplished its goals.
At the rate of fraud in the country, they could triple staff to oversee compliance and still be ahead financially. Program funding supposedly runs on a tight budget, and if you are penny wise and pound foolish when it comes to staffing, then you have already lost.
