“One if By Sea…”

We are in a cultural revolution. Did you notice? Democrats have not stopped coming, not stopped their “Progressive” agenda, elections notwithstanding. They fight against election integrity, deny the magnitude of drug trafficking and overdoses, oppressive taxes, biology, abuse, and corruption. “One if by sea..”

Some will tell you the Democrat Party is broken, so bankrupt of principle that they are looking like the Whigs or “Know Nothing” Parties, both of which splintered and vanished. History suggests they are morphing into a more dangerous party.

These New Democrats, so-called Progressives, like the teacher in Maine who recently called for all Trump supporters to be killed, are so far off the mark – so far from how Americans traditionally conduct politics, we should all be on guard.

Look at where – despite the 2024 elections – they want to push the nation. From Maine to California, they continue to badger, intimidate, defame, and bludgeon average voters into believing wrong is right, true is false, and misery is liberty.

To these cultish, mob-like ideologues, the 2024 elections mean nothing. The view and outpouring of voters for President Trump and conservatives means nothing. Elections are a mere speed bump, our voices somehow unworthy of respect.

What makes me say such a thing? Look at the way they are behaving, the facts. These Progressive Democrats – who control the national and most state parties – push patent falsehoods.

They boldly deny basic genetics, the Bill of Rights, and the Bible as if the rights of individuals, given by God and placed in writing by our Founders, matter not at all.

They imagine that 250 years of legal precedent, statutes, history and culture are nothing, the flag – and “Republic for which it stands” – no match for their hubris.

Nor do civility, honor, decency and patience, respect, or the sacrifice of veterans over two and a half centuries mean anything to them. They revile their neighbors as if enemies, modelling themselves on the old Bolsheviks, dry independent thought, mock those of deep faith, and simply have no clue about honor.

In power, they have so abused citizens that they do not even see it anymore, both when controlling the federal government and controlling states like Maine, where they have decimated families with drugs, taxes, and woke nonsense.

At the federal level, they have pushed a revolt by activist judges, disrespecting of the Constitution, elections and the traditional role and limits on the judiciary.

Obama and Biden judges issue whacky, ungrounded, transparently leftist rulings, then try to stretch them like a sock around a basketball to reach the whole nation.

This Progressive judicial folly is downright bizarre, judges hiding illegal aliens, boycotting constitutional duties, violating the plain text of laws, adopting the profile and “identity” of vigilantes, and glibly taking the law into their own hands.

As if these power-centralizing, anti-constitutional ideologues had not done enough harm through public corruption and cultural defilement, attacks on speech, faith, and core rights, they now push Marxism, trying to institutionalize reverse racism, replacing individual equality with group equity, and redefine inclusion as exclusion.

They clamor to return terrorists and killers to America, denying the force of laws rightly used to deport them. They knowingly undermine military readiness.

They spread hysteria about the climate, suggesting (not subtly) religious fervor and panic, justifying centralized control and mandates.

They imagine everything magically electrified, forgetting electricity comes from the grid, forever tied to fossil fuels; forgetting milk comes from cows, not cartons.

That is all too complex for them. In places like Maine, they throw their hands up in the face of major drug trafficking, talk of needles, a new normal with 40 to 70 kids dying a month, and shrug at the pain they are creating around the state.

They increase taxes year on year, until the past two terms have nearly doubled that state’s budget, doubled taxes on people barely getting by, and they again shrug. In fact, they push the budget spending bills, a $450 million deficit, and higher taxes.

They do all this forgetting Maine’s seniors – like seniors around the country – are on fixed incomes, have limited savings, and cannot afford wild property taxes. Maine is now the highest in America, overall burden chasing people out of the state.

These arrogant Progressives protest those who want to end federal and state fraud, which was just documented to hover near $2.1 billion, but they do not care.

They protest President Trump’s efforts to restore fair trade, bring the defense supply chains and pharmaceutical production – now mostly in China – home to the US.

They look away from the wild spending at the federal and state levels that have created an unsustainably high cost of living, interest, inflation, taxes, and lost affordability. By all appearances, they care more about ideology than people.

And in the area of order, they care little too – undermining, underfunding, ridiculing, and demoralizing police, the men and women who keep them from being accosted by the traffickers, illegal aliens, and criminals who stalk our streets.

Then, pouring salt in the wound, these Progressives – nationally and in Maine – want to take away our guns, the very means by which average citizens, law-abiding men and women, protect themselves from traffickers, illegals, and criminals. 

Where does it stop? Not until they are swept from state governments, dislodged from their cozy, corrupt bureaucracies, where they practice soft tyranny, will it end.

That is my appeal: Stay vigilant, focused on 2026, pray and work. This is also why I am running for Governor of Maine, to rout them and restore common sense. Keep your eyes sharp… “One if by sea, two if by land…” Progressives are still coming.
