4/1/25 – [Bohemia, NY]: The AMAC Book Club is excited to announce that “Trump: The Art of the Deal” by Donald J. Trump will be our featured book for April. Each month, the club selects a book that sparks conversation and thought among our members, and this choice is no exception.

Written by Donald J. Trump and co-author Tony Schwartz, “The Art of the Deal” offers readers a firsthand account of the deal-making tactics that made Trump one of America’s most noteworthy businessmen long before his venture into politics. The book combines Trump’s memoirs of his early business career with business advice, making it a significant reference in understanding the strategies behind the successes and challenges of this polarizing public figure.

“Our selection of ‘The Art of the Deal’ is meant to inspire our members to explore different facets of leadership and negotiation,” said Rebecca Weber, CEO of AMAC. “We look forward to engaging discussions on how Trump’s business strategies can be applied in various aspects of life and understanding the complexities of deal-making from a real estate mogul’s perspective.”

The AMAC Book Club, known for selecting provocative and thought-provoking titles, aims to explore the intricate art of negotiation as exemplified in the career of one of the most iconic figures in business and politics.

I read this book when it was first published, and it provides the perfect understanding for what President Trump is doing today. He is the ultimate dealmaker, and he also knows when to walk away from a bad deal (think: Zelenskyy Oval Office meeting).
