As Trump prepares to take the oath of office for the second time, the United States appears poised to lead the world into a new tech golden age. Trump’s policies could be the key to making it possible.

From quantum computing to artificial intelligence (AI), self-driving cars, and new energy breakthroughs, the American tech sector is bursting with innovation.

Just this month, Google announced the creation of Willow, the most powerful computer chip in history. According to the company, Willow “performed a standard benchmark computation in under five minutes that would take one of today’s fastest supercomputers 10 septillion (that is, 1025) years.”

Forbes reports that Willow represents a “giant leap forward” in the field of quantum computing that “promises to disrupt everything from healthcare to finance to scientific research.” Problems that today’s computers can’t begin to solve could be easily solved in minutes by Google’s Willow chip. Cancer research could be sped up by decades, while the military could use the technology to identify threats before they arise.

At the same time, American companies are continuing to pioneer ever-more advanced AI models that are rapidly reshaping everyday life, driving innovations that improve efficiency, convenience, and decision-making. AI virtual assistants, content creation software, and smart home devices can compose emails, generate creative works, automate customer service, and control household functions through voice commands.

In healthcare, AI is enhancing diagnostics by analyzing medical images more accurately and quickly than ever before, helping doctors detect diseases early. In transportation, self-driving technologies and traffic management systems powered by AI are making commutes safer and more efficient. Businesses are increasingly using AI for data analysis, supply chain management, and cybersecurity, allowing for better strategic decisions and streamlined operations.

New technologies like advanced computing and AI have also helped usher in an engineering revolution that is redefining what humankind is capable of building. SpaceX, under the leadership of Elon Musk, has transformed space travel and rocket technology, making significant strides toward reusable space vehicles and future interplanetary exploration.

This year, the company achieved new milestones with its Starship program, the most powerful rocket ever developed. With successful test flights demonstrating the viability of fully reusable rocket stages, Starship is poised to dramatically lower the cost of space travel and support ambitious missions, including NASA’s Artemis program to return humans to the Moon by 2025.

Furthermore, Musk’s vision for Mars colonization is advancing with the ongoing development of life-support systems, in-orbit refueling technology, and spacecraft capable of carrying large payloads and crews. These advancements are not only making space exploration more accessible, but are also pushing the boundaries of human knowledge and capability, laying the groundwork for a future where space travel could become routine for both scientific and commercial purposes.

It was not long ago that all of these technologies – chatbots that can create hyper-realistic videos and images, ultra-powerful computers that might be able to cure cancer, and interplanetary travel – were confined to the pages of science fiction. But now, thanks to American innovation, the world is on the cusp of bringing them into the mainstream.

But in order to fully realize the potential of these breakthroughs, American industry needs one thing: cheap, abundant energy. AI data centers demand an enormous amount of energy, as do quantum computers and research and testing facilities for space exploration. From this standpoint, Trump’s return to the Oval Office may prove to be the key to fully unlocking the potential of America’s burgeoning tech revolution.

Trump pledged throughout his campaign to ensure the United States has the “number one lowest cost” energy in the world – following four years of skyrocketing energy prices under Joe Biden. To reverse that trend, Trump has advocated for an “all of the above” approach to energy production that includes opening up more oil and gas leases, continuing to use existing renewable energy sources, rebuilding America’s nuclear energy infrastructure, and investing in new technologies.

During his first term, Trump took steps to advance the development and deployment of small modular reactors, advanced nuclear reactors that are smaller in size and output compared to traditional nuclear power plants allowing for easier manufacturing, scalability, and deployment. While that progress largely stalled under the Biden administration, it could see a resurgence with Trump returning to the White House.

Trump will also be in a position to capitalize on a significant milestone in fusion energy that was achieved in late 2022 and further refined in 2023 when scientists at the National Ignition Facility in California achieved a net energy gain during a fusion reaction for the first time in history.

This breakthrough demonstrated that it is possible to produce more energy from fusion than is consumed to initiate it. Fusion energy, which mimics the process powering the sun, holds the potential for a nearly limitless and carbon-free power source. While commercially viable fusion energy is likely still decades away, Trump’s commitment to new energy technologies could lay the groundwork to realize this goal.

Trump himself is a builder and visionary, creating one of the most prominent real estate and entertainment empires of at least the last century. Now, he could be positioned to usher in a new golden age of innovation and advancement that will reshape history and benefit not just the United States, but the entire world.

All is potentially true, that is if Congress, especially the GOP members, actually enact the legislative agenda that Trump ran on and that the voters overwhelmingly approved of. That means an end to the usual nonsense and runarounds to avoid enacting necessary changes that the current Congress is engaged in.

I don’t expect cooperation from most of the Democrat members of Congress going forward, because their agenda is focused solely on perpetuating the ruinous policies of the last four years. So, the two GOP leaders in both chambers of Congress need to get on the same page as the majority of GOP members of Congress appear to be on and focus on getting ALL of the President’s agenda enacted into law and stop trying to play the cute games like we’re currently watching play out over the CR. Learn how to do your jobs and focus less on trying to put together cute scenarios of multi-stage reconciliation bills spread out over the next two years. Otherwise, we’ll end up like 2018 in handing one of both chambers of Congress to the Dems on a silver platter for no other reason than you don’t want to do what you were elected to do.

For today, just put together a clean 20-page bill like both Trump and Musk suggested (just literally a few hours of work to slap together and get to the floor for people to start reviewing) and toss out the 1,500 other pages of unnecessary pork the Democrats have insisted on that further blows up the deficit.

This article seems similar to the one Newt G. wrote that appeared in the AMAC magazine awhile back. Exciting times are ahead if we use future technology for the good but evil still lurks if technology is used for the bad. But of course we need technology for the bad to maintain strength through peace.

AI technology concerns me. As was the case with the newfound “information super highway” of the 90s, convenience offered by the internet was also countered by compromises in privacy, cyber porn, and social media that turned our youth into brats and mental-health experiments. AI reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Terminator” movies.

Trump is the man for the job for the USA to be the leader in advanced technology, energy and innovation. This is something Biden just didn’t have in him either because of his promises to the upper elite, his inability to comprehend the harm his policies incurred, or simply because of his greed and corrupt actions regardless of what the people truly wanted.

America needs to start mining its own rare earth minerals so we can China to shove off! One company has spent 14 years waiting on approvals to mine one element (Epoch Times article today)!! America has what it needs within our borders, and with MINIMAL regulation, we can move forward with mining, drilling and start new manufacturing centers. I’m still very nervous about AI without many safeguards in place. If someone in Davos gets ahold of this tech, the world is doomed.

This might be heralded as a golden era. My feeling about this is it makes people obsolete. Pretty soon we can order our cars to go to the store to pick up the groceries from the robot that filled your order. The stove will cook the packaged food by voice command. The dishes are done by a dishwasher robot. People are getting lazier and lazier and will be dying in bunches. All these robots and AI technology is the breakdown of society as we know it. Isolations will be rising. More people will be dying. The new world order achieved. AI should be banned. As well as robots in any form. Computers have ruined the world. I know I am one of the few that feel that way. But millions of jobs have been eliminated and millions more with this Gilden Era. Humans were not programmed to do nothing. Then we get a society Biden tried to create the past 4 years. Sheep that follow their leaders blindly. There policies are right and anyone else who doesn’t think the same way has to be eliminated as so much garbage, or Nazis, fascists, domestic terrorists, any other name they can come up with. AI is dangerous for the people and the world. AI has no soul, AI has no heart.

AI has very serious dangers too in addition to its benefits and it needs to be carefully regulated. I’m in favor of minimal regulation, but AI’s huge potential dangers call for it to be treated like nuclear energy/nuclear weapons and be very carefully controlled.

Cancer research is BS. There have been cures for decades, but, coincidentally, those who came up with the cures all ‘suicided’ themselves or ‘disappeared.’ Strange right?!?!?
We should all be seeing the truth come to pass in Trump’s return to his rightful seat. God is in the details…working thru Trump to right the world.

Just think of it? Imagine how far we can go without crooked joe’s best friends the cccp stealing ALL our high tech ideas?? We have to get back in front of the biden assisted anti-capitalist countrys who only see AI as an weapon to defeat us. If we cut off all the money. aid, sanction depression, UN money and secret aid, to our enemies flowing from the current administration we will thrive. Iran cannot be allowed to become nuclear-armed for the saftey of the entire world. Furthermore, Musk’s vision for Mars colonization is advancing with the ongoing development of life-support systems, in-orbit refueling technology, and spacecraft capable of carrying large payloads and crews. God Bless Trump.

Democrats are dead set against anything that could benefit America. Their goal is the destruction of this country. They will burn it to the ground just so they can rule over the itches. The Democrat Party is the epitome of evil. They spent 4 years making bad decisions and they expect people to vote for more of the same

AI is a curse, rather than a blessing. Let’s not forget one of the driving factors for AI was politicians’, and generals’ desire for robot soldiers who never get tired, have super human strength, and never, ever question orders, no matter how immoral, or brutal they are, i.e. Shanghai’s COVID lockdown, and the CCPs robot machine gun equipped “dogs” with thermal sensor eyes that were programmed to enforce kill zones in which anything that exhibited a temperature of 98.6 and moved was a target and was immediately engaged. AI should not be celerated but banned, but that is a lesson humanity is about to learn the hard way again it seems. As for Elon, I bet Jeff Bezos right about now is big time regretting that he bet on the wrong horse, or in his case donkey. He bet on Soros, and the democrats who, in the person of AOC effectively shut him down, and cost him dearly (should have been his first clue), now it will be Elon instead of him helping to shape America’s Tech industry. Maybe he should change the Amazon smirk logo by moving its mouth’s corners downward?

Our country must go up because we are at the absolute bottom of the curve right now. There are still doubters that think Trump is the evil solution and I just ask them to name ONE THING that Kamala accomplished during her 4 years as VP. And they come up with a blank stare. Then I ask them to wait just 2 years before passing judgement on our new President before passing judgement. Let’s see how the future holds. It must be better than the last 4 years.

President Trump will make this country great with all that will happen this coming year will get this country back on track again. Biden and his VP would never have done nothing they just do not have that kind of vision for this country never did never would have.
