Everything at Risk?

With only days to go, it is almost and thankfully over. Perhaps each side has one PR gambit left, but with tens of millions of votes already cast, a “surprise” has much less value than it might have had in previous cycles.

In Europe, whose media favors the U.S. Democrat Party ticket almost entirely because it does not have Trump on it, I am told by very reliable continental sources there is fear and pessimism that “The Don” will triumph. But considering the European Union’s recent sharp turning to the right, I suspect there would be considerable cheering as well if Donald Trump wins.

Assuming the outcome will be decisive and immediately clear, there will be a period of necessary discussions afterwards about media bias, the role of mega-campaign spending, and voting procedures. If the outcome is unresolved with a period of recounts, charges of cheating, lawsuits, and widespread protests, then any serious post-election discussions will be postponed, and the nation will face a crisis probably even more serious than in 2000 and 2020 when the results were delayed.

In 2012 and 2022, Republicans went into the final election weekend quite optimistic, but came out of it quite disappointed with the actual results on the following Tuesday. Some GOP partisans fear a similar overconfidence in 2024. Republican and independent voters will need to turn out heavily to the polls for the Trump-Vance ticket to avoid any unexpected loss.

One very encouraging development this cycle has been the decision of many conservative voters to cast their ballots early (as many Democrats have done in recent cycles). But as savvy political observers have pointed out, this phenomenon should not be exaggerated. More practically positive developments this cycle are the use of so-called ballot harvesting by conservatives, and the widespread deployment of election observers, lawyers, and judges by Republicans to deter any attempts at election cheating.

Each party base, it needs be said, is going to turn out to vote for their party’s ticket. Some anti-Trump Republicans and moderate Democrats are going to switch sides, vote for third party candidates, or stay home, but it seems clear that each party base is now energized. As almost always, independent and other undecided voters will be the difference in the so-called “swing” states. Those voters appear to be trending to the Republican ticket at the end, most pollsters are saying, and many pundits are contending, but pollsters and pundits have been wrong on occasion in the past.

It has been a campaign cycle in many ways unlike any other. The so-called rules of campaign engagement have been broken, changed, or ignored as perhaps not ever before. The partisan sides seem more savagely divided than in any cycle in memory. Considering the challenges and confrontations the nation faces from adversaries and competitors around the globe, the election outcome seems more critical than ever before.

Those who argue there is not much difference between the parties and their tickets have no credible argument in 2024. Conservatives and liberal-progressives have sharply differing visions about economics and fiscal policy, education, government regulation, taxes, the role of government bureaucracy, crime and public safety, and Middle East and other foreign policy.

The very heavy voter dissatisfaction with “the direction of the country” is unanimously reported by all public polling. Economic anxiety is widespread. Parents are besieged. Our armed forces are weakened and demoralized.

With so much at risk, the world’s oldest continual representative democracy goes to the polls.

While the socialist leadership of much of western Europe does indeed favor a continuation of the Democrat Party in control of the United States federal government, that is because those leaders prefer a like-minded, weak and feckless United States that is easily manipulated by them and one that spends lavishly on anything they claim is “essential” or desirable to maintaining the status quo.

On the other hand, the vast majority of actual, average citizens of those same European countries favor Trump by a broad margin. From the European people I’ve spoken with on a fairly regular basis, Trump enjoys support of 7 to 8 out of 10 people on average. These are a mix of both regular folks and businesspeople trying to survive in the ever-worsening economic conditions brought about by their own countries’ “progressive” leadership.

They understand that their own governments, under mostly socialist policies for decades, have instituted nothing but one disastrous policy after another and things have gotten progressively worse. They also understand that the United States is the last and final backstop to the free world and the only real hope of a better future long-term for them and the world. They do NOT want the United States to continue blindly copying the same bad and failed socialist policies that their own leaders have instituted on them, that have resulted in so much economic and societal destruction for much of western Europe.

Most Europeans seem to have a clear understanding of the danger of a continued Democrat in the White House going forward and what it will mean for not only Europe as a whole, but the world in general. It’s amazing so many Americans here still choose to cheer that prospect on, as if the last 4 years haven’t been enough of a wake-up call. We’ll soon know which future the American people vote for. Let’s hope it’s the right one. The whole world is watching.

Everything at risk is an understatement, every word of the Constitution, will be no more than words if lying Kamala and Tampon Tim are allowed to walk all over the Constitution for another 4 years, think about it 12 out of the last 16 years with America hating Obama and Biden, and their total disregard of our rights and freedoms will be continued for another 4, and the weak Supreme court led by Chief Justice John Roberts will just stand by and do nothing!
Pray For America!

Of course, Europe doesn’t want Trump because he’ll make them pay for their own defense for a change.

Praise for Herald Boas for this article that presents a very readable map of election territory for 2024. One could think of comparing ,that is, seeing similarities between weather forecasting and political trends – in both previous developments or history is what indicates patterns ,and combined with current conditions provides the information needed to forecast the situation in the near future. The accuracy of the information is one factor, the other has to do with the ever present unknown ,the unpredictable ,such as a change in wind direction for weather and a similar change with political wind direction – for any number of circumstances. Trends can develop quickly and can influence decisions that were thought to be solid and the element of surprise can be something to watch for. This is why writing like this article is important and should be appreciated by everyone who takes the election system seriously . Being a Reagan Conservative since 1981 I am hoping the candidate who is most likely to be as close to Reagan as possible will be the next President. Donald Trump made many improvements during and since his time in the White House. , politically and personally. This sure enough is a situation where everything would be at risk if Kamala Harris happened to be the next Chief resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I do believe it is highly unlikely . Faith in God, Faith in something that is inside people who understand right from wrong and knowing which way the political winds are moving , and being prepared are ways to approach this important 2024 Election.

We are up against the Worst people in America. Communist politicians within our own government. Yet, they have such a strong hold over our people that too many look at them as just a part of the Democratic Party. How wrong they are. Tomorrow decides who will reign, China or the Republican/Conservatives. God be with us!

They can say whatever they want what Europe expects from our election, only the voting happens here. The MSM in Europe is owned by those same elites as here. They say the same thing. People have learned to keep their mouths shut. But if you would ask the people without fear of reprisals they would all say we want Trump. This has been a nasty campaign where the president called his constituents, domestic terrorists, fascists, Nazis and of late garbage. Just for emphasis in case you thought Nazi wasn’t strong enough. The man has been a racist all his life. Best friends with the great Poobahs of the KKK. Voted always another’s coattails and he has the nerve to call the people garbage. Or in need of an ass kicking. Who is the dangerous one right now? Go out and vote. Look at the policies, compare what Trump did as president and what Harris did as Border czar or anything else in her tenure as VP under Biden. She never delivered an original thought. Gave a rip roaring speech unless she could read it off the teleprompter. She repeated rehearsed lines for days if it was an appropriate reply to the questions asked or not. Remember the line I was raised in a middle class family, was her trademark answer to every question. Her word salads make no sense. But she repeats them over and over again. She is like a tenacious bulldog. She finds a word that fascinates her and makes a whole speech around it which no one understands the meaning off, what direction she is going. Even today at a rally she tried to energize the crowd and she was the only one screaming. The silence was deafening. VOTE TRUMP VANCE. save America. Save the people including the sad democrats who don’t know any better. Vote, your future depends on it.

After reading Saul Alinsky’s 12 rules for radicals I have come to the conclusion that it is prerequisite reading for every Democtat. They will pull every trick to distort and win this election if we let them. We must be on guard and vote, vote, vote. I’ll bet the european leaders also read Saul’s 12 rules. Lets keep our chins up and our fingers crossed that the right MAN for the job gets elected.

If you are anti-trump you are a Democrat. Stop pretending. If you don’t support the Republican party’s nominee you might as well just scoot over and sign up with Kamala. You are a total disgrace.

The differences between the two parties is clearer now than ever before. I am 80 years old and have voted every election since I turned 21. I have been praying at least once a day that the GOOD side wins. I truly believe that the progressives are evil and are working for the DEVIL which is global Communism. If they get four more years, I fear our beautiful land of the free and home of the brave will perish.

If Trump don’t win I don’t think our Republic will survive. Even if Trump wins I am not sure how long we will survive. Our country has become corrupt, sinful and perverted. If we don’t as a country turn back to God I think the handwriting is on the wall.

I think an average European no matter what nationality is fed up with the EU as we are with “democrats” here. Both continents are in the clutches of bureaucrats leading the economies to a total collapse Average citizens are the ones cheering for Trump the ones who are not are from the same spawn as the ones here I am sure they would like to see Lady Liberty torch to go off . EU knows we are week and likes it that way. Strong and dynamic America is a threat to stale regimes that like to be unchallenged unopposed and unquestioned.

One of our biggest election day influences, other than the obvious lack of education and political awareness of the typical American voter, is the absolute “integrity vacuum” of the American media. The ABC’s, CNN’s, MSNBC’s, etc., along with other disingenuous programs, like “the view”, and other such “thought police” talk shows, provide enough untruthful misguidance to confuse many millions of voters who would otherwise be living better lives from having made better political choices. The framers of our constitution would be in disbelief if they could only witness how incorrectly and out-of-context the word “Democracy” is so-often used, while televised and in classrooms, on a daily basis. Our country’s youth, especially, is in the most dire need of an “intellectual bath”. May all of the contributors of this outrageously harmful propaganda live to see the damage it causes to the lives and well-being of their children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, all the way down their family trees… and know that their infantile level of irresponsibility was used to enable all of it.

The politicians in Europe may not like Trump, but during his presidency I made 3 trips to Europe and the common working people loved him, from those who fought to oust Communism in Romania had greatest respect for him. Fisherman on the docks of Helsinki Finland had much praise for Trump during our conversations. It was the same praise for Trump in all the European countries I visited.
